"Bad Experience"
This hotel is a dump. It smelled bad in the work out room. The room we had was old and very outdated. The furniture was old and broken. There were cracks in the ceiling and walls. The carpet was stained with holes in it. The bathroom tile was very dirty. Service was not great - I asked for a hair dryer and the front desk said I had to come get it.
"The hotel room"
omg the walls are very thin and we listened to the next room for 2 hours the headboard kept hitting the wall. When someone on the floor would close there door it could be heard by the whole hallway. Did not get any sleep all night long people were yelling in the halls.

"low cost"
its worth the money if you don't mind a hotel that is out dated and a bit dingy.

"This place was just ok..."
The room was ok. Ran out of toilet paper a couple times during my 8 day stay. They only put 1 roll at a time in the room for some reason. The continental breakfast was not very good. A couple days there was no milk for cereal. They had the do-it-yourself waffel maker. They were ok. They had 1 choice of bagles available which were not very good. The […] orange juice was Tang or similar. I booked a smoking room on the web site and when I arrived I was informed that a law from 5/1/2010 would not permit any smoking in hotel at all. I would have liked to know that ahead of time. I don't think I would stay there again. The staff acted like they did not understand my english very well too. Was not at all impressed with this hotel. Had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone even came to the front desk to check us in. Hall ways were dingy looking, and smelled "old". Breakfast consisted of two kinds of cereal, some muffins and bagles. No one was around attending to it. Didn't even see milk for the cereal. The shower in our room barely spit […] out water, and had to squeeze into a small bathtub to bathe. Had to go to the store next door to get toothpaste b/c when i asked at the front desk for some the resonse I got was "oh you wouldn't want what I have it is hard as a rock". The vending machine had warm pop in it, had to search three floors just to find the ice machine. Would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Baca selanjutnya
The room was clean and the shower worked well they are two of my pet peeves. Had to ask for extra towels but, that was not a problem. Nice place will stay there again! Price was right!!!
"Motel sucked"
I would not recommend this motel to anyone. The motel was dirty and stinky
"Smelly"
The hotel has a smell to it. We purchased airfresheners from the dollar store nearby to cover the smell. The carpets in the hallways are very stained. Between the dingy carpet in the hallways and the smell, I was too embarassed to have my cousins stop by our hotel. We visited them at their hotel across town. The pool temperature was fine. The walls are thin on the 3rd floor and so, the room was noisy some nights. The carpet in the halls is old. The service was pretty good and the clerk at the desk helped me get our flight confirmations printed.
"Crack Pipe Under Mattress"
The service, the location, and the pool were great. In the room, though, my 6 year old son found a lighter under the mattress when he went to untuck his sheets. Anticipating what else might be under the mattress, I told him that I'd take care of it. I found a well-used glass crack pipe and a pusher (another tool used to smoke crack). "Grand Rapids Stay"
The hotel is fairly nice but older. The rooms are ample, and the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms clean, but again older. The rooms are also bare bones; No refrigerator or microwave. The breakfast was also very minimal, and often not promptly attended. Since we were engaged in a conference all week, mostly we needed only a bed to sleep and bathroom […] and shower, so the room was adequate for our needs. "Knight's INN Grand Rapids"
room was large, bed comfortable, quiet. Basic but cheap and includes continental breakfast.
Could not sleep under the blankets or cover on the bed. The toilet ran all night, the tv didn't work properly and whenever a door was opened or closed outside the room our door rattled. Very disgusted and unhappy, I will never stay at at Knight's Inn again.
"Updating needed"
The elevator was on it's last leg. and the floor numbers did not display correctly. There was 1 ice machine for 3 floors. It needs new carpet, drywall and paint repair. Needs a larger TV. It was small and too far away from the bed. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. Over priced for the value.

with age of the hotel, the cost seems high compared to the rest of Grand Rapids
