Location excellent for shopping and restaurants.Staff extremely friendly and efficient. Complimentary coffee - N espresso - very considerate. Bedrooms - we had reserved two - very small, with barely enough room for two to move around. On the positive, it was clean and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

Room was ok for what it was needed for, flight was cancelled due to weather. Price was very high but that was due to convention having all other hotels booked.

Decent hotel for business stay - 10 to 15Euros away from Messe by taxi. Unfortunately, we ended up in a smoking room, which was pretty smelly no matter how much we aired it out. The beds were bit soft for my taste, but the rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is good, but not much choice - great for short stays. The bar serves only frozen pizza, […] but nice beer. The staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. Would not book this hotel again through hotels.com as they did not communicate any of the preferences (two beds and non-smoking room). First room had cigarette butts under the mattress in a smoke-free room, but they did have us go to a new room. Most importantly they didn't call us in the morning for a wake-up call and we almost missed our flight back to the USA. Will not recommend in the future.

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, a stopover between Austria and Calais. A little more direction from staff when they had a fire alarm in the middle of the night e.g. its OK to go back to rooms now.

Everything about the hotel was great with the exception of location. It is quite some distance from the airport (it cost Eu35 from hotel to airport and took about 40mins). It is not too far from the central train station though too far to walk-a bus pulls up close by. I would prefer to spend more on a room closer to the airport. I was impressed by the […] hotel having a whole non-smoking floor-I booked a nonsmoking room. So that was a bonus! Free wifi is available but can only be accessed fom the lobby. We stayed here on the way through Frankfurt with a family of 4. While the rooms are small, everything that you need is there including a good free breakfast buffet, a water cooker with instant coffee in the room, hair dryer, etc. Parking is additional €12 per day, but combined with the low room rate still a good value. We will stay here again.

Only downside is transport for Messe exhibitions. Have to take bus for 4 stops to the main station to change another 2 stops on underground to Messe. On sunday, very few bus services back to the hotel and taxi wouldn't want to go from main station to hotel either as driving distance is too short. We were very happy with the quality of hotel and service provided. Clean and efficient. Breakfast also were generously provided like five star hotels. Overall the hotel was ok. I had to choose a hotel around Frankfurt Main HBF and choose the Holiday Inn as I am familiar with their service. The condition and quality of the hotel was as expected. The breakfast service at this hotel was very good compared to the equivalents in the US.

Stayed with our two kids for a night before flying out of Frankfurt. The hotel was a good deal and the staff were friendly and helpful. The airport was a 20 min drive to the airport.

The staff are amazing! We arrived at 6am, bleary-eyed from a long flight from Ethiopia and Oliver was able to get us an early check in! I almost hugged him! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good...my favorite part being the free lattes!! My only complaint is that it's 30 Euros for a taxi from the airport. Which is a fair price, […] but is a killer if you're American and converting from dollars. It's a 20 minute walk to the train station, but the bus stop is right in front and you can buy your daypass from the bus driver and then take the bus directly to the station. Lovely place! Fantastic breakfast that was offered at 6:00am for us catching a early flight. Clean room, comfy bed, about 10 minutes from the airport. Friendly staff, bar open til midnight.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we had a long layover in Frankfurt on our way home from London. It was great for our purposes as it was fairly close to the airport and the room was an ok size for the two of us. The only negative was I booked a queen bed and the bed we received was no more than a double. However, not sure if this is what a queen […] bed is in Europe compared to Canada. Stayed couple of nights on 2 different occasions on my recent trip. Hotel is 5 min with Taxi from Frankfurt Hauptbonhoff, however it is 10-15 min walk from S-Bahn stop. Great friednly English speaking staff with good comfotable and clean rooms. Will stay there anytime I visit Frankfurt.

We used the hotel for a single night on our journey from England to Slovakia. We got a sufficiently spacious room for 2 adults and 2 children for a brilliant rate. What is more, the breakfast was included in the price. The room was clean and big enough for 4 people. The staff at the reception very helpful and nice. Breakfast was ok but not great, staff wasn't very friendly either and the extra 12 euros for an open space parking overnight was a rip off. I never had to pay for parking with a fully paid room before in a Holiday inn - so maybe just bad luck with this one... I found the double room quite small compared to other Holiday inns in Germany but relatively […] clean. The towels looked quite used though. The area is a bit industrial and far from the centre so not much to do. The atmosphere of the hotel is not very pleasant so definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone travelling with kids. But if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower it will do for a night. However if you have a choice and are travelling through Germany - stay at the one in Nuremberg. It's a million times better. This was my third stay at the holiday Inn Express Frankfurt-Messe and although I got the room at a cheap price, there was a 12 EUR a day extra fee for parking. Also, I was not aware that there was an in-room fee for high-speed internet (I accessed the wireless in the lobby for free.) These extra fees added 40% onto my total bill. The hotel name says it all "express". We were in and out with ease. Just needed a hot shower and sleep. Very clean hotel and not too hard to find! Bring a washclothe.

The hotel is well located and offer an excellent rate for the quality of the hotel. We had a small inconvenient since there was not warning regarding the use of Internet in room for a fee. We were told during the check out that we had to pay for the use of the internet in the room and a warning was indicated in the cable which we did not see. The person […] in the reception was kind of rude since he told us that we should read the hotel conditions. The hotel was very close to where I was working so I could easily walk to the office, the hotel was only a 20 minute drive to the airport which was quick and no heavy traffic. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, my room was clean and tidy. I would use this hotel again and would recommend it to my colleague and friends.

The hotel is a couple of miles from the main town centre. The river nearby is pleasant for walks. Not much to eat on the Hotel menu, pizza or curry basically but lovely pub a short walk away - Luftikus - with plenty of choice and a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay here. Our only quibble is that we found the main bed mattress too bouncy. The sofa bed worked very well. The breakfast was very good and the room was sensibly laid out especially the bathroom. It was quite up-to-date. The desk staff were very obliging and courteous.

Stayed for 1 night in a family room, as a break from driving UK to Austria. Great value hotel. Clean and modern hotel. Highly recommend for a value stay as amenities are basic. Local area was not important to us but seemed industrial although only 5mins walk to scenic area with river and restaurants. Hotel breakfast was basic but good variety.
