Villa del Palmar Beach Resort and Spa - Puerto Vallarta

I was very happy with our stay at Villa del Palmar. Paloma, Lupita, Annie, Sergrio, Fernanda, Abel, were all very helpful. The hotel made everything very convenient for me and my family. It was very clean, right on the beach, lots of fun activities, and overall just a wonderful experience. I will definitely stay there again if I go back.

Very well located. Older hotel but well kept and very personable staff. Local feel versus a mega-resort super Americanized site. Small beach area. Would have like a love seat in the room instead of 2 hard back dining chairs. The resturaunts were fairly price and medium quality...nothing fancy, but convenient. Good value.

Had a group of 17 volleyball players (all guys). Most of us did all-inclusive. The service was great - they came down to the beach every 15 minutes or so and took drink and food orders. Rooms are nice - not luxury, but very clean and functional. Great pool and jacuzzi. Downtown is a 10 minute cab or bus ride and inexpensive. Overall, a good place […] for a group to go. Handy to walk downtown to eat - took bus back. Cannot use cash at resort is the only downfall - everything else was very good.

Disappointed with the service and condition of the room. Our grandchild while at the pool area stepped on glass and cut his foot.

Villa del Palmar in Puerto Vallarta was great value. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for great value and an excellent location.

We stayed 12/10/2011 to 12/17/2011 in a Deluxe Room Garden View. Our reservation included breakfast which was perfect - no worries about cooking or finding a place to eat in the morning and was an great value. The Breakfast buffet was excellent, made to order eggs (any way you like), pancakes or french toast (YUM!) and assorted fruits, other hot dishes […] and a bread/sweet selection. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, preferring to try places in town or at the Marina each night.Staff was very nice but do remember this is Mexico and things move at at more leisurely pace. The pools are beautiful. We had massages that were very nice, although the cinnamon scented potpourri in the spa was so strong it gave me a headache. We arrived a bit before Christmas crowds and liked how quiet things were. It got busier later in our stay and there was quite a bit of noise one night but not too bad. I'd stay there again - would make for a fun family trip. The city bus stops at the corner and can take you to downtown, to the marina or other locations for a fraction of the taxi cost - safe, convenient, and a way to feel like a local. Baca selanjutnya

Nice hotel staff. Easy to get to location, easy parking out front. "La Cucina" restaurant so so - kinda pricey. Take that money and go to "La Hacienda" in the Romantic Zone - best place in town.

Unfortunately I could only stay one night, The room and pool area were excellent! The general location is really good near a super market and good restaurants. I will be definitely coming back.

Don't go to the Time Share presentation!!!

I reccomend this hotel to anyone that likes a fun hotel. Our room was kept very clean. I recomend getting the room with the kitchen and then buying your own food from Wallmart or something because eating out all the time is super pricey. The room with the kitchen comes with pots and pans, silver ware, and even little tupperware containers for leftovers. The […] pool was very nice. The beach access altough small is calm and nice. I liked everything about this hotel. The only thing to watch out for is the time sharing presentation. They give you free tours for the time you spend with the presentation but in my opnion, just say no. Unless you are thinking about buying timeshares all ready don´t waste your time with them. I have stayed here several times before and always thought it was OK. It seems they are really pushing all inclusive now. Drinks were $8 each if you didn't have all inclusive and were poorly made with cheap alcohol. We ordered food twice by the pool paying about 15 bucks a plate and got really mediocre quality and the chicken fingers looked horrible. […] If you decide to stay there at least there is a good deli market in front and a supermarket about a block away. Might be the best best to use the kitchen in the room rather than the hotel restaurant. We ate out each night which was convenient to go downtown from the location. Price was good but I reserved one two bedroms suite and they didn't have available they give me two separates rooms. Location and staff pretty good.

My Mom and I went to Puerta Vallarta on a mother-daughter excursion. My mom has some mobility problems and when we checked and told them this, they placed us in a corner, ground-floor unit that was great. Our stay included breakfast and we LOVED the breakfast wait-staff-they were friendly, sweet and always helped my Mom when needed. I also enjoyed talking […] (briefly) with them. The hotel is in the hotel zone and so is not within walking distance of much. We needed to take a bus or taxis but because the hotel suited us so well (Romantic zone is great but less easy for people with mobility issues and noisy) that was fine. All in all a wonderful stay. We stayed at Villa del Palmars two nights and it was great. wonderful view, the room was beautiful just needs new televsions, and papertowels in kitchen. other than that will come again.

Please note, We just payed for the hotel due to only being there for 3 days,there was no need for the full meal deals,we payed for our meals and did not want the discount for any time share info,,,,it was a shot in the dark due to it was my 1st time down there and ,wow it was a great choice.We walked onto other resorts freely and were glad to have made […] the choice we did,everyone was very helpful and friendly and it felt safe.this is the best hotel I have ever seen and should be a 5 star.next year it will be at least 7 days,but hey thats just me,at least book it for the 1st night and see for your self,, Baca selanjutnya

Scenic beach and pool setting. We had a garden view room with kitchen area. Clean rooms, friendly staff, 3 outdoor restaurants on site, near downtown PV. Also be aware of timeshare reps in lobby to greet guests & offer discounts in return for attending timeshare presentations at other PV locations. We requested a king-room with a view of the beach, got two double beds and a view of the parking lot. When we woke up in the morning the shower didnt work. Dont like the hounding for the time-share program. Seems like thats all they cared about, over other guest satisfaction. Not to mention that only one of three hot tubs were working!!! I would of rather stayed in a tent. They called my room non-stop the first day (8 am and 9:30 am), and I finally had to pull the plug on my phone. VIP, VIP, and i was only staying 3 nights. On top of it all, they tried to charge me a tip when I checked out, even though they told me that all tips were included. The check out girl turned very cold when […] I said that I would not be tipping them. I never used any of the facilities or restaurants. I sat down at one restaurant, and no one approached me in 15 minutes, so I left. Plus, chicken wings cost $10. I would not ever stay there again, even if it was free. WORST place ever. it's very clean! location is great and service was nice. the pool areas were super clean and fun. our housekeeper was very respectful and nice. overall a wonderful experience. we would def stay there again.

A very pleasant hotel at the beach with multiple pools, great activities for the kids, good food, small but efficient kitchen in the room, comfortable beds. Very nice.

We're in our 50's - the hotel was perfect for us. A great location...close enough to everything to be convenient and far enough from the street to be quiet. Plenty to do at the resort if we chose to stay in, and within walking distance of everything if we chose to go out. Staff was wonderful and attentative. Only tried the "time share" thing once... […] they actually took no for an answer (thanks Karla)! That was a first for us. The only issue we had was that they were doing a remodel. When we asked them about this before our trip we were assured that they would be finished before we got there. They lied! They won't be finished until December...and of course the building that we were in was the last one worked on. We had painters climbing over the balcony railing as we ate dinner one evening. On the sixth floor! All of the workers were very friendly and did ask permission before intruding. It would have been ok if they had just not lied to us! we would have stayed there anyway. Hotels.com as well Villa Del Palmar promised us swimming pool overlooking room after repeatedly calling them and confirming so. They checked us into street facing room which was quite noisy. Extremely rude and unhelpful staff at front desk.

A pesar de que el Check in es bastante tarde. La espera al llegar no fue nada a'un cuando era semana santa. El personal fue muy accesible en la alberca y en la playa.

Revisar el trma del querer adicional todo incluido ya que el costo subia mas que lo que pagamos por el hospedaje

Excelente condición de las camas, albercas con muy buena profundidad y muy buen servicio del Staff

Zeer net hotel. Kamer minder gunstig gelegen, tegenover inlaadruimte van goederen, lawaai s'morgensvroeg. Bij elke consumptie moet een rekening getekend worden, ook al hadden we "all-in", wel begrijpelijk, maar beetje vervelend. Ya van varias veces que me quedo en este hotel, la verdad te dan lo que vale, no es un super hotelasasaso de lujo pero tiene muy bien sus instalaciones, todo muy limpio. Lo unico que no me gusto fue el buffet como que por el hecho de vender muchos paquetes con todo incluido no le hechan muchas ganas al buffet. Fuera de eso los cuartos muy comodos, si […] vas con amigos y no tienes mucho dinero, te lo recomiendo mucho, si vas en plan de ir con tu novia o esposa a descansar tambien pero se acomoda mas al plan de amigos. Hemos estado en este hotel varias veces ahora nos tocó observar que algunas personas no respetaban al usar las albercas, traer la ropa adecuada, higiene, la alberca más grande olía mal. Creo que es un excelente hotel, los empleados son atentos y educados, pero creo que falta vigilancia en el uso de las albercas. Otra aspecto: no se ve muy adecuadao […] que en el looby se permita que unos señores jueguen ahí al dominó y beban. La fiesta mexicana excelente solo que faltaron abanicos. Baca selanjutnya

esta bien lo unico es que cuando reservas en linea te piden que lo lleves impreso y es una lata pq no cuentan con centro de negocios, otra el internet no es gratis hay q pagar 150 por dia.. para mi esos fueron los unicos inconvenientes por todo lo demas esta excelente el hotel

buen hotel, confortable y agradable. dos puntos malos 1- pedì especificamente dos camas mat y al llegar era una cama king size y un ¡¡¡sofa cama¡¡¡ como le dije a la sta que nos atendiò: eso no son dos camas. quien se tuvo que quedar en el sofa cama al dia siguiente estaba todo adolorido pues encima de ser sofa cama el colchon era de solo 5 cms de […] grueso, ademas nos dieron una habitacion a la calle y no pudimos dormir, pues los vehiculos pasan a menos de 20 mts de la habitacion. 2- no tienen servicio de internet en el hotel y tienes que salir a la calle a unos locales de junto, indican que abren a las 8 am, el grosero joven llegò hasta las 8,20 am y encima nos miente diciendo que abre a las 8,30, al reclamarle por el cartel que indicaba las 8 am, cinicamente dice que abre cuando quiere. mejor cierren ese ciber. es una desgracia que ese hotel que parece bueno , eche a perder cualquier buena opinion por los detalles tan molestos. A nosotros en partícular nos parecio una hotel muy bien ubicado y con un servicios impecable, tiene una playa que es estupenda el servicio en la playa es muy buena. las albercas con bastante grandes y no tienen mucha profundidad, el Jacusi es bastante grande. y unos jardines muy bonitos

EL HOTEL TIENE EXCELENTE COMIDA, SOLO LA ATENCION DE LOS MESEROS EN LA ALBERCA ES MUY ESCASA, PERO EN INSTALACIONES ESTA MUY BIEN EL HOTEL Y SE DESCANSA DE UNA MANERA MUY COMODA ADEMAS DE LAS HABITACIONES MUY BIEN EQUIPADAS Y AMPLIAS
