Living in the local area, I wanted a nice easy place for a romantic-stay-cation without the kids. We started off laughing about how silly it was to stay the night so close to home, but by the end of our trip we started planning our next getaway and saying how we will need to make it two nights! The room was typical, not to worn out and not freshly modernized. […] The TV package was nice avoiding the silly in house entertainment that you normally have to put up with and had a solid collection of channels. The local restaurants provided a huge variety and the in hotel breakfast was a nice start to our day. Stay was great but parking was horrible. There was a conference going on and we had to park very far away from the motel.

all Accommodations were fine. the bed was not comfortable. you sink into the bed which caused a back ache.

Great service, clean room. The thumping from the bar/lounge carried me all the way to 2 am. Please do not stay here if you plan on sleeping. If you are looking for a place to party all night do come here!

I was impressed from the moment I walked in how nice this hotel was. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was a great size, quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything you could ask for! The food in the hotel was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Great hotel - excellent room, quiet, good bed, surprising level of restaurant and bar service. I didn't expect to find a very good menu and a vibrant bar in this hotel. Best yet, after a couple of beers to chase a long day of travel, my room was silent, with no noise from the bar bothering me. We enjoyed this motel very much and loved that it was so close to everything. It was a very nice room with everything we could have asked for. Only one thing we were curious about....no vent fan in the bathroom. It was pretty steamy and seems to us that it would cause mold. Also a continental breakfast would be a nice feature. We were very pleased with our stay. The office staff made sure we were very comfortable and greeted us every morning and afternoon with happy smiles. Our 7 yr old son left several dvd movies in one of the desk drawers and we were in another state by the time he realized it. One call to the office staff and they reassured us that they would be delivered […] right to our home within a couple of days by FedEx (they paid!). Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Our stay was perfect! We enjoyed every aspect of accommodations and would recommend it to anyone. The Hilton Garden Inn in Layton, UT is well staffed with the friendliest people, our room was top knotch and the location easy to find and accessible to the freeway and several restaurants. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Salt Lake City!

We got very little sleep due to the LOUD music playing in the lounge below us. We asked several times for the music to be turned down. The base was actually vibrating our bodies in bed. It was nearly 1:00 am when it finally calmed down enough for us to sleep. We had a race the next morning. They .need to decide if they're a bar or a hotel.

A bit disappointed in a few things: Pop machine was out of two beverages early on a Saturday evening. Flowers on tables were dead. Waitress never explained how menu ordering worked, e.g. got only an omelet with no toast , potates, fruit or anything else. Guess we were supposed to go up to buffet after wards? The place was NOISY--sounded like loud air movement in the ducts constantly. Rooms were otherwise comfortable, but not exceptional for the price. Couldn't believe they charged $10 apiece for breakfast on top of the room price.

Only complaint we had is the Bernaise Sauce on the Egggs Benidect was lumpy=tatse was good.

At first, it was hard to find. Check in was quick and pleasant, but a few minutes later we called the front desk and no one answered. I tried two more times before getting someone about 25 minutes later. The beds was extremely uncomfortable! Service in the restaurant was horrific. This hotel looks like it's close to the freeway but it was difficult to locate, especially at night. If I hadn't noticed a tiny sign on the side of the road we'd still be looking. Once there, our room was fine, but it was apparently over their bar or club because the music continued thumping well into the night. We were given a smoking room which smelled horrible. When we asked for a non smoking room we were told that as we had not specifically requested non smoking we were placed in smoking. Front desk advised that they would send up some air fresheners and would attempt to get us a nonsmoking room the next day. Needless to say no air fresheners or follow […] up on the non smoking room was provided. In addition despitte a Do Not Disturb sign the maid knocked on the door for housekeeping. Baca selanjutnya

When we first walked in to the room, everything looked decent. We only stayed for a very short period of time and I was to tired to complain to the staff but after a little bit of being in the room, we noticed things like a couple of stains on the bed (both on the cover and under the covers), the bathroom had random spots that you could tell where unclean! […] The most annoying part was the fact that the faucet in the bathroom was not tightened down, so it was leaking water in to the sink and on to the floor directly below it!!! After washing my hands, there was about 2 cups of water on the floor!!! In all honesty, I expected more from a Hilton and will probably stay at other Hilton's in the future but will never stay at this location again. Baca selanjutnya

I absolutely love this Hotel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. If there is ever anything I need whether in the hotel or out in the city they have been very accomadating. I stayed there for the first time in December, 2011, again February, 2011 and will be back next Wednesday for a few days. I should let you know I don't like cold weather but your […] hotel is worth suffering through it. I will be making many trips back. I'm so looking forward to it. I thought the room and the overall look of the hotel was very nice. The location of the elevator was problematic, because I was located on the second floor at the end of the hall. Also, It would have been nice to have a laptop tray in the room. Last, the breakfast was not commentary.

The biggest disappointment for me was that in the morning I discovered that they did not have continental breakfast. That left us in a bind. Continential breakfast is a big selling point for us.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Layton & it was wonderful. The hotel staff was great & most helpful, the room was sparkling clean & the location was perfect for restaurants, shopping & even a ten screen movie theatre. Easy access to freeways too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone & especially if you are attending a convention at the […] new Layton Conference Center which I was. There's an enclosed walkway so your hair doesn't even get messed up if it's windy or rainy. They have an indoor pool, exercize room & a small discrete lounge, as well as a wonderful breakfast eating area. And the price fit my pocketbook too! Really disappointed in this hotel as the location is excellent along with the hotels common area's. The room was in good condition except the carpet was heavily stained along with the cable going out intermittently. My major issue with this hotel was during my stay was the multiple fire alarms on different days at 3:40 AM and the poor response to the […] fire alarms. The slow response to clear the alarm leads you to take it serious then no one ensured to tell everyone outside the hotel it was ok to re enter. You just assume it's ok after the fire department leaves. It is disappointing to pay for a quality hotel to ensure good rest during expensive training only to show up to class sleep deprived. Good stay but the walls are very thin so we could hear young children in the next room in the night and early morning as well as noises in the hall.

I had a clean room, friendly service and decent food. It has pretty easy access to freeway without being able to hear it. Definately a good place to stay.

Great room; clean, quiet, comfortable. Friendly, efficient staff. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Took us 45 minutes to find hotel, as we passed it and had to backtrack. Otherwise, good value for the money.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The location was close to stores, restaurants and the highway. The room was clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. We would stay at the Hilton again when we come back.

Clean and functional with plenty of places to eat nearby. Room was kept clean. Not too close to the interstate like some other hotels. It was quiet while we were there but there was no meeting at the convention centre. That could make it quite busy.
