Maybe I should start with the explanation that I normally don't stay in Econolodge Motels and such. But traveling through Maine twice in Sept. and Oct. and shopping in the outlet stores of Freeport it seemed like a convenient choice on both occasions. And sure it enough, I wasn't disappointed. Hotel room was clean but dated. Not a square inch was spared in the bathroom design. Hard to close the door without standing on the toilet or in the shower. Luckily the vanity is in the room. Don't look up at the fan in the bathroom. Not pleasant. We had the king size bed and we were looking forward to it after sleeping on a pull-out sofa the night […] before. We were initially worried by the exterior construction but it ended up in no way affecting our stay. We stayed for one night, with a one year old and had a wonderful experience. The staff was beyond accommodating and very friendly, especially the bar manager at the pool. We were able to order food poolside for dinner and it was delicious.
