We loved our stay here. Family vacation mini getaway. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Stayed on the 1st level Dominican Tower. View of ocean and outdoor pool area. Quiet hotel. Food delivery places very close by. I loved it here and will be coming back. Only downfall was the morning we were packing to leave, housekeeping was keying in my room […] at 930. Said she knocked but 6 people in the room didnt hear her. I think if we have a checkout time of 11am, then they should wait until then or atleast check the records to see if we have checked out yet. When booking my trip I ask for wheelchair accessible room and the front desk clerk changed the room to be accessible. Overall stay was great and the room was great for wheelchair access.

I always love staying at this hotel, but the $15 resort fee was hidden and charged at check-in. I hate hidden fees and wish everyone would do straight up business practices.

My only criticism is the lobby and common areas are kind of cramped and can't accommodate many people, otherwise the rooms were nice and clean, overall we will return

The stay was average but the major down side was the AC did not work in our room and we did not realize this until about 11:30pm. Maintenance had already left so we had to change rooms. I am a single mother of three children and this was a VERY uncomfortable thing to have to do, along with being frustrated.

The room was great. I got an oceanview 2 bedroom. The view was spectacular, we could see the ocean and the strip. The bedrooms were roomy. The location was excellent. close to shops and the strip as well as restaurants.

My stay here was great!!!!!! I stayed here twice and the first time I was blown away but now it will have to be the only place for me when I head to the beach. I got my room for a great price and it was worth more then what I paid. I recommend the Caribbean to anyone!!!!!!!!!

great place to hang out on the balcony , we could see the ocean,we were across street from ocean in the chelsea apts.. much better than being in the main hotel, no elevators and screaming kids to put up with except our ownzleeps two couples and tow kids comfortably......can walk to broadway at the beach takes about 15 mins at a casual pace

Loved it! Rooms very spacious. We had reserved a condo, but since they had a problem with our condo we were given an upgrade of 2 suites with an ocean view without asking for it. Location was close to everything.

The hotel had our reservation screwed up and were not very nice about trying to accomidate us. First they tried to stick us in a room in the basement and finally got us a room on 1st floor that was not at all what we were looking forward to. Would not ever stay there again.

We arrived at 3:00pm and registration had long lines, which was expected on Friday. The front desk worked people as fast as they could and line moved fairly quick. The rooms decor was outdated, but the room was clean and view was great. The indoor pool area was a nice suprise, our toddler loved their kiddie pool. Overall, I was a happy customer.

I enjoyed my stay at the Carribean Resort and so did my kids. The room was clean the beds were confortable. I have no real complaints other then the pipes were a little noisey. The lady in registrations Lori was very helpful in gettig us the best price on tickets to the Aquarium and discounts on the popular dining facilities and letting us know how […] to get the the places. The morning weather was nice so we got to enjoy the beach and even tho it snowed that night we still enjoyed the inside pool and hot tubs. We loved it!!! I was sad to leave. Baca selanjutnya

Friendly desk clerk. Great location. Main building is nice but our room in the secondary building was old, dirty and in need of repairs.

Front desk representatives were friendly and helpful. Room was cozy. Heat works VERY well. We stayed in the Jamaican building which had a nice view of the beach.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Caribbean for New Years 2013. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Had a nice stay!

I chose this hotel for two reasons; 1 - we stayed here in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities; and 2 - being winter, I remembered that one of the water areas was under shelter. Needless to say, the kids (and parents) were thoroughly pleased to be able to enjoy the 2 hot tubs, lazy river, kids pool and regular pool in full comfortability […] of the indoor facility while the outside temps were freezing. We had the 3 bedroom oceanfront and it was awesome as well. Our king bed in the master was more comfortable than my own bed. The room was very clean. Literally, the only thing you need to bring with you is groceries and clothes. Parking is free, covered and right across the street. There's a Rite Aid, liquor store, beach supply store and seafood restaurant 2 blocks directly west of the resort. Grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) is about 5 blocks south on 17. There is nothing inconvenient about this location. We Will Return to The Caribbean! Baca selanjutnya

Overall it was disappointing after reading through so many good reviews. The oceanfront view was awesome and we loved it. But that was the only wow factor here. The room looked quite old and the carpets were not inviting. We had trouble with slow draining of the bath tub (almost took a night to drain) and also experienced trouble with the toilet bowl. […] Though we complained regarding the problem, I don't think it was taken care. Also the Kitchen had quite a few shortcomings in terms of vessels provided (no non-stick pan was provided). Though Coffee maker was provided, still no coffee powder was provided as complimentary (I have always had it present in whatever hotel we stayed before). The knives weren't sharp enough and left lot to desire. On the plus side the Hot tubs, lazy river and pool were pretty nice and we had fun using them. I would say if the kitchen was better equipped and room was renovated then we would have really loved it but this time we aren't that excited. I would recommend this hotel for the water amenities and clean ocean view but otherwise if you are one who like to cook during your vacation or like your room to be clean, this hotel isn't the best one. All the staff we introduced ourselves to were courteous, polite, attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Nice inside amenities, considering it was winter. Plenty to do in the general vicinity of the hotel. check in/out were both a snap. This hotel like most is trying to help guests help them be more cost efficient by explaining that […] a towel hung back up is to be left there and anything on the floor is to be replaced. I found myself having to go to Myrtle Beach for a unplanned business trip the first weekend of December. I made a last minute reservation at the Caribbean looking mainly to save a little money and a lot of time. What I found was a very nice quiet hotel with staff more than willing and understanding to make a bad weekend better. We stayed just two nights, and experienced the following. On Saturday Nov. 24 2012 we were out an about leaving the hotel at 9:30AM. When we returned at 4:45PM the room was exactly as we left it. Beds not made, garbage not picked up, towels on bathroom floor. We complained to the manager Spike and he had no explanation as to why the room was not serviced. We […] had to leave again for approx. an hour to allow Housekeeping to do the room. The Manager Spike compensated us with 2 buffet breakfasts next door at Sea Captains restaurant. We had a 3 night stay in hotel. We wanted to stay in a 2 BDR room, but on first night of the stay we were given in a sort of 1 BDR and living come room as another.Although I had confimed my details of the reservation the previous day. This room was very disappointing in terms of cleanliness, facilities. I will not recommed this for a family with kids. […] I guess it was in the Dominacn tower. So I requested to be shifted to an actual 2 BDR . This was done in the next day with an additional charge. This was in Cay man tower. here the facilities and cleanliness was good.
