Very courteous hotel staff and very good breakfast room. Location very convenient to freeways and airport.

I found this hotel very convenience for my trip with free shuttle to and from airport, the staff very friendly, free wii fii, and I recomend it.

The hotel was new and very clean. The person at the desk was very cordial. We enjoyed sampling the cookies in the lobby.

Toilet did not work the entire stay, kept being told they would repair it while we were out only to come back to find it still wouldnt flush. They came a total of 10 times with a plunger after they asked us to plunge it ourselves the first time we called. we had to use the lobby bathroom the entire. The Super 8 is between the airport and downtown Austin. It has excellent service, with free breakfast, wifi, and parking. I was very pleased with my stay.

Great and friendly staff!!!

Stayed two nights during a home remodeling project. It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff and many extras that you would not expect at all in that price range. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Surprise, surprise.... Haven't stayed in Super 8 for a few years.. I was very pleased and surprised with the quality. Everything was better than expected, granite in bathroom and desk. This hotel was very nice & clean. It was very clean, & comfortable. The little extras were very nice & the free breakfast & starbucks coffee was great! Its located right next to Jack in the Box. The only thing is its a drive away from everything. Overall great stay & I will deff be staying for future visits.

It was homey & convenient. The Starbucks coffee machine was an excelent breakfast surprise. The exercise room is small but good for cardio.. The bed was comfortable. It was easy to acess everywhere I wanted to go. I shall stay there next time I am in Austin

close enough to the airport (about 10 minutes) and the same to restaurants. room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. good value.

Super 8 South in Austin is a great find for the price. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, pleasantly decorated and a roomy. The laundry area, the hallways, the stairwells are spotless and nice attention to detail like carpet and soft lighting in the halls/stairs. Coffee, cookies, movies all part of the deal. Overall was a good experience. Only negative was that don't get to breakfast at 9:30 a.m. because you probably won't get anything to eat. Was close to family we were visiting and easy access to where we needed to go. Staff was friendly and polite.

This place was better than any Super 8 or high-priced hotel chain. I wish Super 8's were as nice in New England at the same price.

Generally, I go to a Super 8 for a basic, clean cheap room. We got far more than that here; from the evening cookies in the lobby to the magnifying shaving/makeup mirror and telephone in the bathroom, this place compares favorably to some of the most expensive places we've ever stayed. The breakfast wasn't sumptuous, but it is more than adequate with […] a reasonable variety and a very clean, well-kept eating area. The room was quite comfortable, and not only is there free wi-fi, there was an actual desktop (well- under-desk) computer in our room. This hotel was for our first nights stay in Austin Texas. It was a pleasure to stay here. The management and staff were really helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. We were collected from the airport for no extra charge and the car arrived in super fast time. The beds were heavenly, no other hotel matched this comfort throughout our holiday. […] The continental breakfast offered contained lots of choices. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. This hotel is off the beaten path, but definitely worth the short drive to get to it off of IH35. Located just outside of downtown (literally 3 miles), it is in a perfect location to avoid the traffic. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and the suite was a fantastic upgrade for the price!!!! I went to Austin for a conference and all of the "conference […] hotels" were booked...and way outside my daily per-diem. I found this gem just outside of town and don't regret it for one second!!! Close to airport & all of Austin

Nice hotel, we stay here every time were in Austin. Not much of a breakfast , but better tan alot of places we have stayed. The one thing that kinda of borthers us is, they have this green thing going, or so all the cards in the bathroom says. They help us save water, if you hang up your towel that means you will use it again. If you put it on the floor […] we will replace it. Well we always hang ours up, but they still replace them. If you are looking for a place to stay in Austin, don't hesitate to give this place a try. The room was very clean, and the bed super comfy. I was thoroughly impressed with all the extras, like the gift basket in the room with the bottled water and snacks, and the starbucks coffee offered in the morning. Great place to stay when visiting Austin.

Good hotel for the price. In an odd location practically by itself except for a Jack in the Box next door....but still near the airport and downtown. Hotel has a family business owned feel even though it's a name brand, cookies when you check in, little quirky things in the room you don't seen in most hotels (basket of free snacks, teddy bear on the […] bed, scale in the bathroom plus others). This was one of the most positive hotel experiences in the history of the world! The staff was very nice and helpful. It was just so comfortable!! Breakfast was very nice including Texas-shaped waffles. Breakfast and Wi-Fi included in cost of room, which was very reasonable. Location was convenient to the airport, downtown and all of the stuff we wanted […] to do. Room and beds were very comfortable - and the hotel felt very secure and safe. This hotel certainly met and exceeded our expectations for a quiet hotel stay. The desk staff was courteous and very hospitable. They provided a gift basket in each room with snacks, water, and toiletries. We were also invited to come down and enjoy an evening snack (coffee, brownies, cookies) in the lobby and had media service (dvds, videos, books) […] for complementary check out. If necessary, there was also a clean guest laundry room. The breakfast had more than the usual selections making it easy to accomodate both kids and adults. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location had easy access. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends who are busy during the day and needing a good night's sleep (there is no pool or hot tub). Baca selanjutnya

This was really a nice, clean hotel with lots of nice extra touches, such as a bathrobe and laundry basket in the room, Wii in the lobby, free movies to check out, etc. The staff was very nice. We were very impressed!

I booked at this hotel for a quick shuttle to the airport for a very early morning flight. The experience was much more than I expected! They have thought of and included everything one could want! In addition, the hotel staff was amazing! The morning clerk set up breakfast early for me since I had to take the first shuttle at 6 am. The night clerk […] cheerfully helped me figure out the bathtub faucet. They have fresh cookies in the lobby, a free snack in your room, a little laptop desk for surfing the internet with your computer while resting in bed, free internet, and Starbuck's coffee and Belgian waffles in the shape of Texas as part of the included breakfast buffet. Also a dry sauna in the workout room and an in-room safe, microwave and fridge. Even a laundry basket to use with the laundry machines. Really thought of everything! Baca selanjutnya

I have never been to such an upscale super 8. I felt like I was at the Marriott. The staff was very nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a DVD player and the lobby had tons of movies. There was a bookshelf full of books and there was even a book on the back of the toilet. The rooms were decorated very nice and spacious. Perfect for short visits to Austin and location near the airport. It is easy access to downtown and the S. Congress (SoCo) area. This is a very new hotel so don't be afraid that it is a 'discount' chain. I thought the rooms were nicer than some Marriotts I've stayed in. Check out is 12, free internet, free cookies after dinner time. And OMG, are the […] beds comfortable!!! We had a king size bed. They are therapeutic beds, I did not want to get out in the morning. More comfortable than my bed at home! Jack in the box is within walking distance if you are having a lazy, don't want to go anywhere kind of day. I would recommend, and I will definitely stay again! This facility is above and beyond the average. I expect cleanliness, comfort and great service anywhere I go but don't always get it. Not only was everything extremely clean and comfortable and the service super friendly and efficient, but there are all sorts of really nice little extras that make it clear the management is going for way beyond expectations. […] If you want a swimming pool there is not one but I don't see why anyone would want a hotel pool in Austin where there are so many fantastic places like Barton Springs to swim. Go swimming elsewhere and enjoy the super comfortable bedding and sparkling clean comfortable rooms and all the other extras. I and my coworkers have stayed at this hotel ~40 times in the past year. We like it, rooms are always clean. The family that runs the place does a great job and the service is good. They go above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Clearly the owners take pride in making this little hotel feel like home. Small perks like Starbucks coffee and a hot breakfast. DVD player in the rooms and recent DVD's free to choose from in the lobby. The room had a ceiling fan and the bathroom had a quality exhaust fan that made a big difference when you have mutiple trying to get up and get through […] in a short period.The room was very clean and the hotel overall was clean and update. Not too many gripes, The beds were a little soft for our taste, and the breafast area needed for counter space. Best perk of the hotel, free shuttle service to the airport any time of day!
