Rocha Brava Apartamentos Turisticos - Carvoeiro

Stayed another year in the standard apartment but this time in a superior one. Well worth paying extra for the superior. Clean, well decorated and maintained with wonderful views. Gardens are very well kept and likewise the pool area. Would recommend this resort to couples and families.

Stayed at one of the apartments for 6 nights. The apartment it self was clean but in need of some renovation! Reception staff was really useless. Ask them to recommend a good traditional restaurant they couldn't think of one in the area! There are no haidriers available, and you have to carry or your valuables with you as there is a safe in the room […] but they are all out of use! Nice apartment, quite spread out so felt more like a housing estate than a mass tourist centre. Great restaurants in walking distance. Would recommend a car to explore beaches further away

Simply perfect. Extremely polite and helpful staff , cristal clean everywhere we went around the resort or to the local area. They should be proud of the services they offer.

We found the apartment very clean,spacious and comfortable with fantastic sea views.The complex was fairly quiet due to the time of year which suited us completely. Will definitely return, very relaxing.

Our second time at Rocha Brava and again we really enjoyed it. The apartments are so well layed out, relaxing and comfortable we spent most of our time in and around the resort or the pool. Its so calm and with wonderful views to the ocean. We will be going there again im certain and would highly reccommend it to all.

Having a hire car is a must. You can then get to some lovely beaches in close proximity and a lovely pool to come back to. A good shop on site for breakfast type things but lots of good restaurants to go out to at reasonable prices. Our deal was good value.

I requested my 1 bedroom apartment to be in a quiet spot, they gave me 167A at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.... absolutely great spot. Relaxing in the little garden it was very pleasant after a long hard day at the beach!

Just spent a week at the Rocha Brava apts. Initial impressions when we arrived at the reception were poor. Although the staff were friendly, except for 1 male staff member, the reception looked tired and dated. Things did not pick up when we entered our apartment, peeling paint work, dated furniture and dull. Took a quick walk around the complex to […] find parts of it looking run down and neglected. The main pool area was nice, although not enough sunbeds, and even they needed to be replaced! Had to request a change of towels after 4 days. Ideal spot for my eldeerly mother. Car parking is very handy and it is easy to get to from the airport even thought it is 40 miles away. We have stayed there before and would definetely stay again. The little supermarket on site is very handy if you run short of anything.

Overall good complex, great pool & restaurants. Resort was 4 star however apartment struggled to be 3 star! Kitchen sink smelt bad, beds were really uncomfortable & there were ants in them!!

This is a beautiful complex. It was lovely and quiet when we went on 7/5/11. The restaurant that overlooks the main pool was excellent, (O Farol) with friendly staff. The food was very good.

I have to admit i was thinking going to the Algarve would be over touristy for me, but these apartments took that problem away. Set in their own grounds it was more like having our apartment from the UK over in Portugal. The view was great and the amenities were everything you needed. The apartments were well spaced out and impeccable. My wife and I […] liked it to much we are going to book again for later in the year. Its a short trip to the beach but not much hassle and there is a free bus if you need. There are loads of shops and restaurants in town, with a couple of supermarkets very close to town if you have a car. Would also totally reccomend the restaurant O Nuno, its a little on the edge of town as well but the food is amazing compared to some of the in town options so its well worth going there. Only grip would be the shop on the apartment grounds is overpriced but with the supermarkets it was not a problem. Overall we Cant wait to go there again. Baca selanjutnya

Location is beautiful, people are friendly and weather was amazing. I spend at a long weekend at Rocha Brava and ended up feeling like I had a week's break. Rocha Brava is beautiful, simple and very relaxing.

the nearby town of carovaerio is small and has a small beach. The local beaches are called vales and the sea can be strong at times. There are plenty of trips available to see various tourist attractions in portugal. We did not hire a car. Taxis to the resort from the complex are cheap and plentiful.

Excellent hotel and all staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely revisit. Free shuttle 3 times a day to town centre, closest beach isn't very big so an extra taxi ride of about 15 euros to another beach is advisable!

the two bedroomed apartment was nothing like the pictures shown on Expedia, it was very clean but very basic and could do with a refurbishment.

beaches were too far away. we had to find our own room and as it was big resort and late at night this wasn't easy.

Kamer zijn er vies en onverzorgd. Meer als de helft van de lampen branden niet en er stond nog een opklapbed midden in de kamer. ( Had besteld voor 2 personen). Verder stelt de Fitness niets voor een fiets en nog een loopband van slechte kwaliteit, waar je ook nog 6 euro moet betalen per keer!!! Ook staat er dat er internet is, maar dan moet je wel […] buiten op een stoeltje zitten, of je moet wat eten in de eetzaal. Dus internet NEE alleen betaald. Kan je beter een dongel kopen in de Faro dan heb je 4G internet voor een klein bedrag! De televisie heeft wel satelliet televisie, maar alleen niet voor NL zenders, dus ook dat kan je schrappen. Het verwarmde buiten bad, is inderdaad warmer als de andere zwembaden, maar nog veel te koud om te spreken van een luxe verwarmt buitenbad! Dan nog het bed! Een plank was nog zachter als dit bed! Foi agradável embora fosse necessária uma manutenção mais frequente do quarto. A higiene é boa. Fica um pouco distante da praia, sobretudo se houver crianças pequenas, sendo nesse caso necessário carro. As piscinas sãopouco controladas, nem toda a gente usa pulseiras.

Trevligt område. Bra planerad lägenhet fast ganska sliten. Väldigt gamla och nedlegade sängar och trasig luftkonditionering. Vår hyrda lägenhet hade stort behov av uppfrächning. Städningen var ganska slarvig. Dock ett trevligt område med fina hus, lugnt o stillsamt på kvällarna.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Ferienanlage an der Algarve. Etwas abseits, aber sehr gut gelegen zu den schönsten Stränden.

Det er et godt sted og vores lejlighed var som den skulle være. Der var en større pool og nogle mindre pools i komplekset, en restaurant, en cafe og en mindre købmand. Vi havde et god ophold og stedet lå godt i forhold til de steder vi gerne ville besøge i Algrave.

Zeer ruime villa gehad (2 bedroom superior villa) waarbij er 3 toiletten en twee douchen waren. Keuken was volledig voorzien van alles met genoeg bestek, glazen, pannen etc. Handdoeken worden 2 keer per week verschoont dus als je elke dag naar de zee of zwembad gaat is het handig naast je strandhandoek nog meer handoeken mee te nemen. Grundsätzlich sehr schöne Apartmentanlage mit moderaten Preisen. Zimmer zwar oberflächlich recht sauber, aber schon ein wenig abgewohnt. Ausstattung sehr gut, mit LCD-TV und deutschen Kanälen. Lage landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen, Auto ist aber Voraussetzung zum Erreichen der nächsten Stadt

Muito sossegado em ambiente natural indicado para descansar durante 4 ou 5 dias recomendo. Para mim a localização é um pouco distante do centro do Carvoeiro pelo que é necessário usar transporte, se particular há muita dificuldade nos estacionamentos, no transporte que o hotel disponibiliza estamos sugeitos a horários. No geral é optimo

Ons verblijf in bovenstaand appartement is ons enorm tegengevallen,mede door de miljoenen medebewoners nl. mieren...ze zaten overal, in de keuken, badkamer, koffiezetapparaat etc.werd na meerdere malen vragen bij de Receptie vrijwel niets aan gedaan, doordat de kookplaten in de keuken nauwelijks functioneerde, kon er maar één tegelijkertijd gebruikt […] worden anders sloegen de stoppen door, moesten wij vaak uiteten, overigens erg duur op het park, TD was hiervoor meerdere malen geweest en kon het probleem niet verhelpen. Receptiemedewerkers waren uiterst amateuristisch en schenen nauwelijks interesse te hebben in het wel en wee van de client, onze algeme indruk was dat de priorieteiten bij de baliemedewerkers niet bij de gasten lagen gecombioneerd met het huisje zullen wij nooit meer kiezen voor deze accomodatie Baca selanjutnya

Flott anlegg med leiligheter i to etarsjers bygninger i rekke, flott bassenganlegg, god og trivelig restaurant, kort vei til strand og centrum i Carvoeiro. Meget godt renhold hver dag, og rikelig med skifte av håndduker både til hygiene og kjøkken. Meget godt fornøyd med vårt opphold i to uker. Kan trygt anbefale dette til andre.

Rocha Brava svarte absolutt til våre forventninger når det gjelder beliggenhet. Det er et rolig område, og med gangavstand til flere strender. Leiligheten var bra, og inneholdt så absolutt de fasiliteter vi forventet. En kan også komme seg for en billig penge med taxi til Carvoeiro - hvor det er et bra utvalg av butikker og restauranter.
