Beaver Village Lodge - Winter Park

This was the cheapest hotel available for a busy holiday weekend. We didn't expect too much. It's an older building. The staff was very friendly and willing to help make suggestions for dinning. It is located next to a free shuttle that takes you into town but is also in close driving distance to the ski resort and downtown dining. The beds are rock […] hard but the room was clean. The shower looked kind of moldy but everything else was otherwise clean. The walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs. Some friends stayed at the Beaver Village Condos and said they were very nice. Old fashion style, yet perfectly comfortable, and reasonable price

Old school ski-chalet. Cheap place to bring the family to stay and ski. Breakfast was filling and the food was good, but it should have been open through 10am in my opinion! We checked in AFTER dinner, but we still had to pay! ... wish they could have run it for another hour!

This lodge is definitely dated, but largely well maintained (our heater broke for one evening, so we had to use a space heater). The food was good and nicely set-up, cafeteria style. I liked the option of breakfast and dinner being included so we didn't have to pick somewhere else to eat out. The hot tub was wonderful as was the lobby ambiance (nice […] big fireplace, log deco). My room was not very clean but I only discoved when it was late and I was ready for bed. The floor needed to be vaccumed. The tissue box was empty. The heat registers were very dusty. The toilet ran during the night and in the morning the bathroom floor was wet. I was in a rush to check out as people were waiting so I didn't metion this. Have been to Winter Park many times. Just needed a place to stay for 1 night before checking into our condo. This hotel worked for us. Pros: Great location, super cute, clean and comfy rooms, very rustic. Cons: Nobody was there at check-in, had to call a number to get a code to get our keys. Room was small and with very old furnishings. A little expensive […] for what you get. If you're looking for an old fashioned rustic experience in a clean comfy room, you'll love this place. My daughter and I could open our bedroom window and pick icicles from the roof. If you are used to spacious rooms, big closets, big bathrooms, flat screen tv's, etc, look elsewhere. Baca selanjutnya

The customer service was outstanding, the location and the view was terrific. However, when I got into my room, there wasn't even a table to sit and eat at. There was a smoke detector with a low battery that beeped for two days and nights. The walls are paper thin and I had to listen to the adjacent room party until 1 in the morning.

While BV offers a great location, the facilities sorely need updating. No A/C, all worn fixtures, carpet, bedding, lighting. In its day, this was a REAL ski lodge, some 50 years ago. Now, its a dilapidated hotel that gets traffic simply due to its location. Their excellent staff did take good care of us, but the place itself is dumpy and dirty.

Seriously... - Wall plugs hanging out of wall - No pressure in faucets - trickle only - No hot water - Dingy bedding - 12' blurry TV with broken remote - No cooling system - just open window - No screens on windows - Toilet seats dirty with chipped/ missing paint - Bolt lock on door didn't work - too much more to mention This place was barely more […] than a back-woods youth hostel. Simple, clean and comfortable room. The staff was eceptionally friendly and helpful. I was attending a blues concert and was concerned about parking. Not only did the staff give me great advice for parking, but one of the staff members was willing to drop me off at Hideaway park to avoid a long walk.

Smells bad, indescribable. Room so small not even a chair next to the phone. Pillows flat. Road NOISE. Sink and Shower did not drain. Shower water went from stable to cold to scalding. Free dinner and breakfast wouldn't have been too bad if my forearms didn't stick to the table.

Got stuck in a TINY room with a double bed after booking a room with a king bed. Still, very cute and clean, though not spacious enough to be comfy.

I stayed @ Bever Inn with my girlfriend. We got to the Hotel in the afternoon and discovered the office is closed, and we have to pick the key from an envelope with my name on it - outside of the office. We got a dobble room thoguht we asked for one bed.. not big of a deal ... Though the hotel seemed and sound deserted, we still got a room on the 3rd […] floor ... Room looked clean but the was no A\C in the room and the srrounding is filled with bugs so you can't open the window ... oh, and no breakfast in summer time .. Anyway, come by the winter, find a nice place to eat around and it's fine .. on the plus side, the price was the lowest we could find so, who am I to complain. Baca selanjutnya

This hotel is the basic room. No glam or glitz. It was clean, inexpensive, easy to find & within walking distance of town. It is an older place, but the staff was helpful & friendly. There is a nice area to drink beer & watch TV in the lobby. What ever the hotel lacked in luxury was made up for with the incredible water pressure in the shower.
