The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was done in a flash. We were able to check-in early. The room was clean and decor was nicely updated. The only complaint was that the pool area was not ready to go, but it was early in the season. Even though the weather was 80+ one day, it was 60's and raining the next, so they probably wait for more […] consistant warm weather before they get the pool area ready. Close to the freeway and a few restaurants. The "hot breakfast" was really coffee and muffins/bagels. it's kind of a dump, but it did the trick in a pinch.

We love this hotel and have stayed here before. I did discover this time that Room 123 is directly under the hotel lobby and directly next to the laundry room. Very noisy throughout the night and hard to sleep. I recommend this hotel - just try to avoid that room!

Stayed just one night as we were traveling through. Front desk was very helpful at check-in. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was decent and check-out clerk was very friendly. It was an over-all good experience and we would stay there again.

Matresses were worn...saggy in the. Middle. Floor space is small. Decent place for people.without kids. Very tight squeeze in rooms. Pleanty of parking if towing a trailer or are in a larger vehicle.

The air conditioner/heater was functional but made a loud noise every time it shut off. It kept waking us up. Had to eventually leave it off. Neighbors were noisy upstairs all night. Room was clean and staff were friendly at least.

It was great for me, in town as a vendor at local Event, as a business stay. Very clean and not shabby(as I might have expected) for a "2 Star"

Only stayed overnight but stay was pleasant. Front desk staff was very helpful. No iron in the room but one was provided at front desk. We were able to check in early which was a plus for us. Even though a continental breakfast is available there is a Cracker Barrel less than 50 yards from the hotel. If there was a down side to our stay it would have […] to be the somewhat thread-bare sheet on the bed. Overall I would recommend a stay at this hotel. Gas,dining and I-40 are all very accessible. The room had a bit of a smell, that would probably bother more sensitive noses. The room was in need of a thorough cleaning (stains on wall and bathroom floor). The breakfast was pretty sparse. Powdered cream, tiny plain bagels. Not much to tempt you. However, it suited our needs which was a place to sleep. We got there late and left early.

The hotel was very close to I-40. Several chain restaurants closeby. The room is basic and minimal, but we got a good night's rest there. Breakfast in the morning was also basic - bagels, waffle, pastries, fruit. The room was clean.

The hotel staff was friendly and answered all questions. One of the people I traveled with left something in the room and eight hours after we checked out we returned and they had it behind the counter waiting.

This was a great overnight stay! The front desk was courteous and friendly. Very helpful with directions to Fall Creek Falls park. It was conveniently located to the interstate and many restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for the weary traveler.

I wasn't familair with the area at all and was concerned booking online, but I had no choice. Boy was I surprised! The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and had all the conviences needed. Restaurants were within walking as well as shopping. I felt safe and secure there as well. I would definately stay there again!

I am always leary about booking hotels on line but because of the great reviews Red Roof Inn already had I booked it. The price was great, one of the cheaper places to stay and the room was very clean. My family and I will choose this Red Roof Inn again when we come to Cookeville.

Clean, good staff, recently renovated. Very affordable. Only negative was a slight musty odor in the room, which can be ignored after about fifteen minutes. Would stay again.

Have stayed at location twice. Both times the room was well maintained and very clean. Excellent place to stay for the price.

My wife, dog and I have stayed in this hotel twice on our path back home, and I have no major complaints. The staff has been very friendly both times we have checked in, and I feel that they would go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The surrounding area is pretty safe, especially since the hotel is right next door to the highway […] patrols' headquarters. The room itself is basic, but clean. The bathroom is a bit small, but it serves its purpose (and again, it is clean). I haven't tried the breakfast as there is a Cracker Barrel across the street that is wonderful. Finally, you cannot beat the price! It is the cheapest hotel that is decent to stay in that I have found in a long time. Though it appears to be an older building the motel is scrupulously clean and well maintained. The Continental breakfast is excellent. When business brings me back to Cookeville I'll stay here.
