Marin Dream - Heraklion

Great breakfast, great location. Staff assisted in getting a rental car, even took us to the airport during taxi strike. Beds were too hard for my taste. No wifi in the rooms, need cable to hook up. Wifi in the lobby.

Difficult to find hotel. We drove around and around. Early breakfast quite small with only bread and cake. Lift noisy in the night. Positive - room neat and clean, staff very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marin Dream. Our sea view room gave us a balcony and view of the port and fortress, and was well worth a little extra as the room was not big. For some reason room 301 was more cramped than room 201, directly underneath, but it didn't spoil our stay. The breakfast buffet gave a good choice, including local specialities, and […] ran from 7-10.30. The main waiter was efficient but not friendly. One of the receptionists had limited English but we communicated in the end by persevering. The evening meal was just acceptable but the convenience and the view of the harbour more than made up for that. There is NO parking as the hotel is on the corner of 2 very narrow streets which can get very busy at times. A public carpark is some distance away. We parked on the street and the car got hemmed in by a car and motor bike. We moved it the following day but it was very stressful. Fortunately the hotel is in easy walking distance of the main museums, fortress and town centre. Wi-fi was included in the price, good shower, firm beds, good sound proofing (important as there's a lot of traffic and the hotel is under the flight path). The lack of tea making facilities bothered us more than we expected and we would have loved a bath, but it was great value for money and we would be happy to go back, albeit without a car! Excellent location to the main interests of Heraklion and a well run hotel with a friendly staff! The breakfast was excellent and varied and we had a very pleasant stay!

This hotel is easy to find as it is on the waterfront and overlooks not only the commercial port, but also the harbour entrance. The bus station is only 2 minutes walk away and the main pedestrian streets of the city are only 5 minutes on foot. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and spoke english among other languagues. Corridors and room decor […] needed a little updating but overall were very clean and perfectly adequate. We were given a room on the fith floor with a balcony and I got the impression these might have been slightly better than those on the lower floors. The breakfast served on the 6th floor restaurant has spectacular views of the harbour area and we couldn't fault the food either. All in all a good experience at a good price. Baca selanjutnya

This hotel is clean, with excellent location, good breakfast, employees are helpful and nice. Worth the price.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. This is a very nice hotel located within walking distance of the port.

The hotel is very nicely furnished and well located right by the port and the centre.

I would've paid 50% more for my stay. Decent sized room, extremely quiet, comfortable, and an excellent breakfast. Best value and quality during my 5-stop trip through Athens and 4 Greek islands.

We stayed here one night and caught a ferry the next month. Its closeness to port was very convenient. Nice hotel, near the center of town. We would stay there again.

Stayed in three person room (two beds next to eachother and nice modern fold-open couch), nice view of port and old fort from balcony. Next to Megaron Hotel. Clean modern room. good a/c.

Situé à quelques minutes de taxi de l'aéroport d'héraklion (ce qui est appréciable quand on arrive à 1H30 du matin), le marin dream offre les prestations attendues. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse couverte avec vue sur le port et le fort vénitien est agréable. La situation de l'hotel pratiquement au centre ville et à côté d'une voie de circulation permettant […] de quitter rapidement la ville est de plus, à proximité du musée archéologique. Gutes Mittelklassehotel in Top-Lage. Fußgängige Entfernung zur Innenstadt (ca. 5 Min), zum Busbahnhof A (3 Min.) und zum Hafen. Toller Blick vom Frühstücksrestaurant aus über den Hafen. Im Frühstücksraum stören lediglich die Klimaanlagen. Zimmer nicht sehr groß und etwas dunkel aber mit allem ausgestattet was es braucht. Internet über LAN funktioniert […] gut. Η θέση του είναι πολύ καλή, κοντά σε όλα τα κεντρικά σημεία της πόλης. Καλό πρωινό.

Hoôtel très agréable, en centre ville très proche du bord de mer. Notre chambre était petite mais très agréable. Le personnel était très prévenant.

Leter du etter et sentralt hotel i Heraklion er Dream Marin et godt valg. meget hyggelig service i resepsjonen, helt sentralt i nærheten av havnen og likevel relativt stille strøk, rent rom og fantastisk takterrasse der frokosten serveres. Flyr du til/fra Heraklion er dette en god begynnelse/avlsutning på din Kretaferie

It's very near the port & city center. I can walk by 3~5 minuites from the port, and 10 minuites from city center. the room was clean, air conditioner also good. most of all, the breakfast buffe was wonderful. there's not many kind of food but every single one is delicious. It's the best hotel during my all trip in Greece

Mycket bra läge, nära till centrum, busstation och flygplats. Rent och snyggt, trevlig personal. Fick tidig frukost. Den var ingen höjdare, men bra att det gick att få. Kommer troligen att boka hotellet igen när jag är på Kreta.

Nous n'y aurons passé qu'une nuit mais c'était très bien. Bonne situation, très bon petit-déjeuner. Seuls bémols : pas de parking et le "jus" d'orange (qui est de l'eau orange sucrée) très décevant dans ce pays où les fruits et légumes sont si parfumés.

we just stayed for one night at the hotel. The service was all right, the rooms where clean and the beds all right. Best thing was the breakfeast on top of the hotel with a marvelous view over the harbour. The nearby airport doesn't disturb your sleep because there are no plains during the night.

Hotel idéalement situé prés du port, du musée( en réfection:dommage),du centre et de la station "hub" de bus de la ville, c'est à dire que vous pouvez y partir dans toutes les directions (knosos,par exemple). Une chambre tout à fait satisfaisante. Pour ce qui connaissent la gréce, la salle de bain n'est pas dans leur culture "lol", c"est à dire que […] vous vous douchez à coté des wc sans rideau.... dans une pitite douche!!!. Là, c'est le même systéme en plus spatieux avec rideau rigide, carrelage design, vasque....et une vrai pomme de douche avec de la pression et du débit. Trés agréable aussi, le design moderne et reposant de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est "continental" et trés satisfaisant, avec du choix. Avec la vue sur le port, c'est que du bonheur........Vous êtes en plus à coté des restaurants et bars inscrits dans différents guides (routard, futé..).par contre, pas de parking d'hotel mais des parking payant à proximité 4 euros /24heures ( une amende de stationnement vaut 80 euros..... ) Je le recommande vivement Baca selanjutnya

Gostei de tudo, exceto o fato deles tirarem do frigobar tudo que a gente comprava e levava para uma geladeira do hotel. Além de não gostar deste procedimento, só ficamos sabendo dele na ocasião do check-out.

Marin Dream liegt gleich hinter der Busstation (Fernbusse nach Chania etc, Regionalbusse nach Knossos etc.) und ueberschaut den Hafen von Heraklion. Die Zimmer sind sehr schoen und modern eingerichtet, vom Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf den Venezianischen oder den Handelshafen. Fruehstueck oben auf der verglasten Dachterrasse (Gazebo Restaurant), […] geniale Aussicht auf beide Haefen. 5 Minuten Spaziergang bis in die Stadtmitte.
