"Almost Perfect"
The setting is spectacular, room size generous, staff personable and professional, and hotel facilities such as the fitness center almost over the top. This brings two particular shortcomings into stark relief. 1. No Free WiFi in rooms. We stayed in Putre, a village with no paved streets, that offered this service. 2. Breakfast-not included in the room […] charge-obtainable only at truly exorbitant prices (again in contrast to reasonable restaurant charges otherwise). The hotel is very good, great location. The swimming pool, the water is very dirty, sometimes it is imposible to see the logo of the hotel.
"Great hotel let down by service"
We had a great weekend in the hotel where we had been to many times over the past five years and where in the past we got excellent service. This time however, I noticed that staff serving on the terrace were particularly slow, inattentive and in general did not seem to take the initiative. The men's toilet in the bar was broken and water gushing out […] and when I told the staff they said they knew and then only acted. If service does not improve I will not return as this should be the main element of a 5 star hotel. On the positive side everything else was great, fine location , lovely , clean rooms. and great views from the rooms. Interesting to note that there was no coffee machine or coffee/tea making facilities in the room. In addition the as I had used Hotel.com to pay for the room , the hotel took a deposit of $US 100 using my credit card. I then realised a few days later that the hotel does not reimburse it right away but only a few days later, so you pay interest. Baca selanjutnya
"Best hotel in Vina del Mar, but needs better food"
Service, room, pool, etc. are all excellent. Top notch hotel in Vina del Mar located right on the water. Room we received was large with balcony overlooking Pacific. Bathroom was gorgeous with large tub and separate walk-in shower with rain shower head. Lovely. The only disappointment was the food, but I'll caveat that we did not eat in the official […] restaurant. We ate our on the terrace right off the lobby for dinner one night and had lunch in Las Olas, which is a bar restaurant off the pool deck. Both meals (especially the lunch) did not measure up to the rest of the hotel. Maybe the main restaurant would have been better. The breakfast, however, was great minus the coffee. "Sheraton Miramar at Vina Del Mar"
Loved the location and especially loved hearing the waves hitting the rocks. It was like a lullaby. Felt very safe and the views were very nice.

"No other like it"
We flew into Santiago, rented a car and easily drove to Vina del Mar in less than 2 hours. The hotel service from front desk to door man was excellent. An outstanding American-style buffet breakfast was included in the room cost. Every room, I believe, has an ocean view. We were there in late summer (mid-February 2010) and the beach was crowded. The […] ocean water is ice cold. We did not go into the pool but we used the fitness center several mornings. The equipment was new and, like elsewhere in the hotel, every piece had an ocean view. El hotel es nuevo y el lobby y habitaciones son muy lindas. Las camas comodas, buen servicio de internet (lo que encontre poco comun en Chile). Lo unico que no me gusto es que la lampara y radio reloj en la habitacion estaban desenchufados.
Absuro um hotel deste nível nao fornecer wifi gratuito.

Es una excelente propiedad en manos de nadie. Imposible conseguir informacion fidedigna de quienes estan a cargo de darla. Guest Services funciona pesimamente, no solo no conocen el area sino que se basan en comentarios de otros huespedes para recomendar diferentes sitios ya que, textual, no los conocen. me aloje or segudna vez en el hotel y la calidad […] de servicio en este sector ha practicamente desaparecido. Consejo: si se aloja en esta propiedad, que ediliciamente es magnifica, pida consejos a los maleteros, conocen mucho mejor el destino que quienes han sido puestos a tales efectos. Baca selanjutnya
