"Friendly staff"
Staff very friendly. No elavator..had to carry lugage up stairs. Hotel could use some updating. Well used.

"Country Inn & Suites - Mishawaka / South Bend, IN"
We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occassions when traveling between our home in Pennsylvania and Chicago, where our son lives. Originally enamored of the sumptuous continental breaksfast with the make-your-own waffle option, we have come to appreciate the conveniece of the facility, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the hospitality of the staff […] even more. The driving distance into the city is an easy 1-1/2 hours and the surrounding area provides eating and shopping venues to suit all needs. We now seek out other CI&S locations during our travels. "Country Inn & Suites - great location for shopping"
Spent one night at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Mishawaka and was completely satisfied with the accomodations for the money. The room was quiet and was glad to have the second floor of this two floor motel so we did not have to worry about anyone above us. The room was clean and roomy enough with a king bed that had a very nice mattress topper that made […] it very relaxing after a day of shopping. The University Mall was just down the street and there was every kind of restaurant you could think of within 5 minutes of the motel. "Not bad for the price"
The hotel was neat and clean, our room was spotless and comfortable. The only real issue was the pool...it was small and not well maintained. You get what you pay for, but not a bad place to stay.

"Very upsetting!!"
Did this as a get a way before boyfriend leaves for army. I asked for a whirlpool suite, got the whirlpool but the room was not a suit size!! Not what I paid for! Our room was not cleaned when we came back from breakfaast and the lady seen us leave. Their website says no pets allowed thats false, website says "pay movies" available that is also false. The staff at this hotel was the best! They made you feel at home and appreciated. From the fresh baked cookies at the desk, to the popcorn in the lobby. Everything was extremely clean and almost appeared new. "Location of hotel perfect for Notre Dame visitors"
The hotel was very close to the university and stores that college kids need. The younger kids loved the pool and the hot chocolate. Definitely would stay there again.
"Too Green???"
I think I caught them on an off night. I had to return to the main desk twice for tissues and toilet paper -- the clerk apologized that the cleaning crew took seriously their desire to go green. But the employees were friendly, the hotel is quiet and close to lots of shopping and restaurants, and I'd definitely recommend it!

We took a family weekend getaway to this part of Indiana and found a great deal on this hotel through this website. We were very pleased with the service and the room conditions. "Cute and Close to everything"
The only think I didn't like about the hotel was that it had no elevator. Traveling with kids made it a little more difficult, but the hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly and helped with all our baggage to the room when we arrived and when we left.

"Excellent place to stay"
I would highly recommend this motel to others and would stay there again. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. The motel was well maintained. The pool was perfect for families. The continental breakfast was amazing and the staff was very freindly. On our vacation we stayed in 4 different motels and this was by far the nicest one.

"Very nice location"
Everything is nice in the hotel. The only problem I have is the toilet. It did not flush well. You have to flush several times to make it work. I did not complain about it because it worked out fine eventually.

Prepaid rates were very desireable. It seemed that the liner in the indoor pool had leaks underneath causing big ripples. It was not very "comfortable" standing in it. Twice during our stay of 6 nights the pool was closed. The manager said it was being shocked with chlorine. It didn't seem to be used that much to have it closed that often. Very nice hotel close to everything!!! Easy access to restuarants and shopping. Great staff.
"Awful Experience"
The air conditioning unit in the room did not work. The chairs were stained. We had to pick strands of hair off of the comforter and sheets before going to bed and the bath mat was covered with black mold. We had reservations for two nights, but left after the first.

"Nice, clean hotel"
Clean room with nice, firm beds, close to restaurants at University Mall. Continental breakfast was self-made waffle, hard boiled eggs, dry cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee, juice, apples and oranges.

The hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly. The only thing that we found as an inconvenience was that there was not a microwave or refrigerator in the room. The hotel is in a great location, right off the main roads with access to lots of shopping!!

Everything was clean and neat. The pool was a little small but we didn't use it anyway. The only improvement would be more fresh fruit for the continental breakfast such as bananas or fruit in season. The beds were very comfortable.

"Fair Value for Money"
Price may have been a bit steep, but considering it was alumni weekend at Notre Dame and Sunburst Marathon weekend in South Bend, the price was more than competitive. The free internet worked great. The only negative was that the whirlpool tub in the room didn't work. The tub filled with water, but no whirlpool action. I would stay here again.

"Nice Stay"
This was a nice quaint hotel stay. I would stay again - was very comfortable. Unfortunately someone must have broken the rules prior to me and smoked in the room but it was clean. The only thing that bothered me was you have to watch the way you flush the toilet - the water at times would spill out onto the toilet seat.
