You can tell they've been working hard to upgrade the hotel-despite of the signs of age, what it is unacceptable is to offer specifically a sofa bed (as a sleeping place) amongst all the room options and provide one in such deplorable conditions. The metal structure was bent, "u" shaped and the mattress was so thin and old, unable to provide any support. […] If they offer a sofa bed it should be updated or not offered at all. The first impression is of a hotel that has tasteful decor and comfortable accommodations. We checked in Friday night with 2 adults, 2 children. The main bed was fine, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with a really thin mattress and a head end that would not go down horizontally but stayed at an upward angle. The worst part was that there was no hot water the next morning. Our daughter was taking a shower and the water went cold on […] her. The rest of us did not shower because of this. This happened around 7:30 am Saturday morning, not a time at which other hotel guests might have already used up all the hot water. When we complained about this afterwards, the agent in the lobby had a lame excuse about the hotel being very full.
