While Yakima isn't the mecca of resorts and lodging the hilton garden is one of the best places to stay in the area. It is always clean, comfortable and well located. It's always our first choice when traveling to the Yakima area.

Nice place to stay in Yakima. Room was clean and the service was great. The area around the hotel was a bit run down but otherwise was okay. Only real complaint was that the pillows in the room were small and very soft, so you may want to bring your own if you need something more firm.

Modern, Bright & Cheerful, Clean, comfortable and with an accommodating and friendly staff, we will definitely stay here again. Not on the freeway with the annoying noise and fast food places but still convenient for auto travelers--nice to be able to take a walk in the old town for a little exercise after sitting in the car all day. Everything here was fine - quick check-in - friendly service - reasonable prices for dinner & within walking distance to a great wine-tasting place (Kana's) to end our day :-)

Everything was excellent but our second floor room faced Yakima Ave. and the road noise was pretty constant day and night. If it was located along the river it would be by far the best place to stay in Yakima.

Clean, convenient, and most delightful smelling room I've ever stayed in (to include fine luxury hotels!) We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staff was welcoming. Had hot water problem in shower, they immediately found a room to shower in 2 doors down. Very customer friendly.

Stay was great, staff was wonderful. When I arrived it was a few hours before check in so I asked for early-checking, which they happily gave me. Their restaurant was good, decently priced, and with good service. You do pay for breakfast, though. Continental is about $8 and cook-to-order is $12. I arrived by plane, so I took a taxi from the airport. […] Keep in mind a taxi ride is about $15 each way. Because of this, it would have been nice if they had a shuttle, but I just don't think they have enough people coming and going to the airport to support that. Overall it's a nice place to stay. I think the entrance of the parking gargage should state entry only with hotel pass. Also, the signage for getting out of the parking garage needs to be better. Arrows on the floor need to be repainted. There should be signage for getting out of the place on the ceiling with exit arrows etc.

Excellent experience, I was on business and found everything I needed to work in comfort and enjoy my stay. Everything was in walking distance and the hotel had great food and service as well. Well worth the value will return to this hotel on my next visit.

50th class reunion was held at this hotel. Very friendly staff was very tolerent during get-to-gethers and picture taking. Very large rooms with great beds. Ample parking and felt very confident with secure underground parking--at no additional charge, which was a big plus. It was an okay experience/ We wanted to stay close to wineries but there was really no restaurants to eat at in the evening or things to do. The town is very quiet in that area and lots of shady neighborhoods and people walking around. The rooms could be updated and have better bedding.

Nice size room, frige with no freezer for ice cream my melted overnight, nice staff but found trash under bed and bathroom tile with black mold, Staff was nice and helpful Pool is always on the cold side we have been visiting this hotel for the past 6 years and is always as cold.

Very clean room, great central location and very pleasant staff. The pool area is somewhat dingy, so I decided to skip it, but otherwise a very pleasant hotel to stay in.

This hotel is non-smoking. First room I was given had stale cigar smoke smell throughout. I asked for another room, and was told the hotel is "non-smoking". Hotel staff do not want to admit that some people just smoke wherever! Finally I was given another room. The room was very nice, quiet, easy access to freeway. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel and great breakfast buffet! Rooms were nice and clean. Front desk staff should get to know their city....when we checked in, we asked about a good restaurant and the front desk clerk said that she had only been there for a year and a half and didn't. Seriously? The spa next door was fantastic!!!!

I liked everything about the hotel except the bed, which was so hard and uncomfortable, it was surprising. It was like sleeping on a rock. The staff was great, the hotel overall is very clean and contemporary. The food is good and I really enjoyed the hot tub.

It was a beautiful hotel and exceptionally clean. The Beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were a very high quality with super nice down pillows. I would stay there again.

i found no fault with the comfort, cleanliness, and quality of furnishings of our room in the Yakima Hilton Garden Inn. The location was central to downtown Yakima, several good restaurants, and the Interstate system. our stay was short (one night) but enjoyable. i would definitely stay here again.

Needed to get away from the spring rains in Seattle and decided last minute to head over the mountains where it was sunny and in the 80's. Booked at the last minute and it suited the purpose fine. Only picky thing was the air conditioning was a little difficult to control. Finally left it on fan so it didn't go on and off all night. The sheet on the […] bed was too small but comfortable all in all. Excellent made to order breakfast for $12 bucks the next morning. We arrived and were told our room wasn't quite ready and that it may take up to 45 minutes before we could check in. With two small children in tow this wasn't received well, especially at 2:45pm after a long drive. However, staff had the room ready in less than 5 minutes which completely outshown expectations. I've stayed in a few hotels in Yakima and the Hilton is by far the nicest. The bed was super comfortable, the room was big, and staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. My only (minor) complaint is that the surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy - but that's a Yakima problem, not a Hilton problem. However, you […] could walk to the farmers market on Sunday and some good nearby restaurants. Much better than the "freeway" locations of many of the other hotels in town. Hilton Garden Inn in Yakima was a great hotel. Very clean, comfortable, and updated. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. I didn't spend much time in the location around the hotel because I was only in town for a wedding, but I'd definitely stay at this hotel again!

we were very pleased with our stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Yakima. We were there for one night - wish we could've stayed longer. Will definitely plan to stay there again. Very nice rooms and the staff were very friendly.

Stayed for 5 days on business, very friendly staff, clean facilities, good central location, offered access to YMCA across the street for cheap. Very nice.
