Umaid Mahal - Jaipur

The hotel is conveniently located near a main road and is in a good neighborhood. It is 10 to 15 kms from City Palace in Jaipur. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The stay was very comfortable and I would definitely stay there again.

Small hotel in a residential area. pictures look good but not what i expected

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights in Jaipur, the hotel was initially hard to find as it is located down a side road and the driver hadn't heard of it. Once found the hotel was impressive though, by far everyones favourite hotel of the trip. The rooms are very well done, and the decoration of the hotel itself was great. The hotel is well maintained, and […] the rooms are huge (for Indian hotels in this price range at least) The only slight complaint could be around the quality of the breakfast they serve, but it was complimentary, so you cant complain too much. Overall definitely recommended. There is another hotel nearby that is owned by the same people and decorated in the same style, we didnt get the name, but the rooftop restaurant there was fantastic. Nice hotel with a Indian touch. Mr Bhati, the travel and tour manager, was very professional, helpful and full of knowledge of Jaipur.

Very cool hotel with very good service. The hotel has drivers on staff so sightseeing is very easy.

Highly recommended hotel for it's price. Standard of service excellent, staff very good and food great. Worth staying if you're going to Jaipur India. Quiet neighbourhood and central to everything. Sites shops and markets.

It is a pain to find (especially late at night), but it is a delightful place. The deco is classy heritage. Even a small in-ground pool in the back for kids. Room/shower were clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. Service was good overall. Wifi was free (even though they mention a charge, they normally waive it).

At this price it is a great place. Nice deco. Ignore the restaurant.

This hotel could be excellent, but is only average because of dark and humid hallways, lots of soggy food, and the slowest internet service I used in India. Rooms, however, and great, and the shower was excellent.

I was surprised at all the extras we received by booking our space with the tour pkg. inclusion. Beautiful area - much cleaner air than Delhi. Hotel not exactly in a 'walking around location' - safe but more residential, so the tour meant even more. This was a wonderful hotel, especially after a day on the streets of Jaipur. The room was big an comfortable, with a small balcony. Nice shower and bathroom. Building itself was lovely. Just not in center of town, but that wasn't a big problem.

A real gem of a hotel in the competitive market of Jaipur (there must be thousands of other hotels in the city). For the price, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything more character-filled. arriving at the hotel was the most pleasing site after a long hard Journey. The recepetion was warm and all 10 bookings were dealt with smooth organisation. Waiters need some customer services training more so the dinning management need to realise what the hotel rules are in terms for customer satisfaction. I liked this heritage hotel a lot. It was interesting and the rooms were quite nice and furnishings were very appropriate. I felt like a lot of care was taken to make tour stay comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The location was fine - a little out of the main centre but I believe most hotels are outside the main tourist attractions.

Actually, it was much more than expected - the staff were wonderful, helpful yet not over-bearing. The rooms were huge, clean, beautifully decorated. Great bathrooms too. And the food in the restaurant was fabulous. All in all, it was the best place we stayed (for such a reasonable price) in India.

This hotel is pretty good for the cost. It is clean and the service is descent. The people are pretty friendly. The rooms were large and pragmatic. The bed was a little hard for my taste but all in all. I would equate this hotel to a standard american motel, like a travelodge or a motel 6. It was a safe place to stay and relatively convenient.

Lovely hotel. Nicely decorated in Rajasthani style. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was also good.

During most of our trip to India we had been staying in the modern 5* hotels and found this quiet Heritage spot a pleasant relief with its colorful and genuine Indian decor. this hotel is a little far from the main sights of jaipur. but it more than makes up for this with its comfortable rooms, excellent food and warm staff. for what we paid, we thought it was incredibly good value. be careful if you're a doctor though - the owner may try and marry you off to one of his relatives!

c'est un belle heritage hotel.la decoration est vraiment sympa, les chambres sont spacieuces, la nourriture y est exellente, le restaurant sur le toit est vraiment agreable. le petit déjeuner est moyen. en tres bon rapport qualité prix et un sevice d'une grande gentillesse.... bravo

Das Zimmer war historisch , aber gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage etwas laut. Das Hotel ist sehr schön restauriert. Man kann gut in dem Dachrestaurant essen. Der Verkehrslärm der nahen Hauptstraße ist etwas störend, aber nicht dominierend. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Anbefaler dette hotellet på det varmeste! Det er verdt et besøk i seg selv. Fantastisk fine rom, god service og bra tilgjengelighet til det meste ( særlig om man hiver seg i en rickshaw). Helt grei frokost og veldig flott restaurant på taket. Man kan også bestille mat som leveres til rommet, uten ekstra avgifter.

Nice with the indian touch of the interior decoration. Good staff, ok food, and a very helpful tour and travel guy (Mr Bhati), Doesnt take to long time to go to the pink city or the amber palace.

Tanto el exterior del hotel como el interior tienen una decoración lujosa y muy limpia. La habitación Deluxe es muy espaciosa y el cuarto de baño además de ser muy grande está muy limpio. No tiene bañera pero la placa de ducha es de 2x1m (todo el lateral del baño). Tiene una pequeña piscina exterior en la planta baja muy acogedora. El desayuno buffet […] no es muy variado pero la comida es muy buena. Las noches en las que no llueve la cena se hace en el ático/terraza con pequeñas carpas que cubren las mesitas alumbradas con velas y en la carta de vinos hay "Sangre de Toro". Muy recomendable. Nos alojamos aqui durante dos noches y fue como estar en el cuento de las mil y una noches. Es un hotel precioso. Esta un poco apartado del centro pero se agradece porque esta en una zona residencial y dejas de ver porqueria por todas partes mientras estas aqui. Me encanto.

Ein kleines Märchenschloss im Stile der Paläste in Rajasthan. Sehr sympathisches, kompetentes und freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück ist etwas ärmlich oder mager. If you would like a taste of indian luxury at a reasonable price then Umaid Mahal is a good place to start. Everything in the hotel is extremely well kept with high-quality furniture being used in reception, rooms restaurants, etc. The only disadvantage is that it is not centrally located. O hotel é recente e foi construído ao estilo do Rajastão. Está razoavelmente bem localizado e apresenta uma boa relação qualidade preço.

Angenehmes Hotel in gut renoviertem Gebäude. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Restaurant ausgezeichnet. Der Swimmingpool ist derzeit noch eine Baustelle (falls man darauf Wert legt). Internetzugang ist gebührenpflichtig aber nicht übermäßig teuer.

Pase unos dias divinos en este hotel de Jaipur. La verdad es q todo salio impecable. Es un hotel atendido por sus dueños lo q hace a q uno sienta una muy calida de estadia. Al hotel lo describiria como acogedor, limpio, super tranquilo donde uno puede descansar luego de una visita por Jaipur. Al ser heritage te transportas en el tiempo para vivir un […] ratito como lo hacian en esa epoca y con ese tipo de vida. Todos los empleados siempre muy educados y serviciales. La comida desde el breakfast hasta la cena impecable. Ni q hablar del top roof, es realmente DI VI NO, no se lo pierdan! El hotel está muy bonito decorado, sí lo que buscas es estancia en un lugar al estilo de la india el umaid mahal es perfecto, sin embargo la calidad de los alimentos no es muy buena y la limpieza tampoco, para pasar unos 3 dias está bien ya que es económico.
