Key didn't work when we got there. Had to go back twice to get them to get it to work. First thing we did was lift up the mattresses to make sure there weren't any bed bugs (there weren't) but the condition of the room had us question it immediately. The deadbolt would not work as the bolt did not line up correctly. This room was not close to the picture shown. The heat worked fine but whenever someone entered or left their room you were aware of it. Kids running on the upstairs porch sounded like a herd of elephants. This is a low rise, "motel." It is not a hotel. The bathroom floor was so dirty that I put towels on the floor to reach the sink, toilet, shower. This motel is well located but very basic in the comforts offered. There is no separate closets and pillows were the size of cushions. Front desk staff were helpful, but housekeeping left much to be desired. When we checked in we found dirty fingerprints on the bathroom door frame, and a used wash cloth overlooked on the shower rail. Towels are small […] and thin.
