stayed here on thursday 7th march and friday 8th march m y disabled wife and i were in room 148, and my 87 year old mum and sister were in room 147 both nights had near zero temperatures outside . room radiators were not on in both rooms. i asked at reception to rectify thist, the staff member proceeded to program heat for both rooms .the heaintg [ […] radiators] stayed cold , going back to reception the staff member after more programing said that air con should work on the heat setting . this blew a small amount of warm air at ceiling height..disappointed . A sensible place to stay if visiting Bolton area. Can't comment on food as did not have any. Good selection of bottled cider. BEWARE, they don't have real ale, just the fizzy tasteless lager stuff that marketing people drink So you have a miserable time in the bar.

Good basic hotel, better than I was expecting. Value for the money. Better than the Travelodge in Bury. My room was nice, other complained about their rooms when I stayed. Food ok to, £6.75 for a main course and a drink in the bar. That night cost me £32 for food, drink and bed. Score

The worst bed I have had the misfortune of trying to sleep in (and I was in the army for 7 years!) and stank of cigerette smoke in the corridors!

Excellent the staff were very efficient and friendly, yet again there was the happy hour (bar could be better stocked (no tomato juice) The room is well designed with sliding wooden screens across the windows overlooking the nice garden, Spotless. Herbal teas as well as normal (Nice touch thanks)

The hotel is conveniently located and very clean. The only criticism that I would make is that, for me, the bed was too soft but that is a personal opinion particular to me. Others would, no doubt, find the beds to be comfortable.

Staff keep remarkably hotel clean given that the decor is decidedly "tired"...severe water damage from floor above in the peeling ceiling, and things like curtains and carpet need replacing. Main issue given a cold snap was ineffective heating - turn the airco to full and it just about got the room to 20C. OK as a value hotel room for the night.

We had booked a double standard room and when we got there we had two single beds, and the receptionist wasn't very friendly.

Waited 20 minutes to check in (even though there was only one person ahead of us). Took further 15 mins to be checked in, queue behind us was building up. terrible service - no apology or explanation for the wait. Room freezing cold. when enquired told the heating was on, but it was not. Headboard was hanging off the wall. Turned shower on and the shower […] head fell off the wall. We were bed only guests. However, from what we saw and those we spoke to , it is a pleasant place to stay and, we would stay there again.

Walking to our room the corridor smelt very strongly of "Smoke". The desk bulb was not working, but did get replaced when reported. The mixer tap in the bathroom was in need of repair. Toilet rim showed evidance of wear and did not look clean. The bed was too soft and when lay upon everything rolled towards the middle. The TV remote did not function […] properly, and the main Sky channel had no sound. The only WiFii area was near the reception and all the chairs in the area were taken over by guests who did not need to use the WiFi area. We just stayed for one night. The hotel is overall ok but decoration is outdated and they should change shower aswel b/c it does not work well.

The outside of Bolton's Britannia Hotel looks a little scary. The carpets throughout don't look much better than the outside, and there is basically nothing to see in that area of town (walking). But, the rooms were a bit better/newer than the rest of the hotel (not including carpets), the food was good, the bar was great for watching Wimbledon (and […] served our favorite adult beverage), the restaurant staff was really kind and helpful, and the price was the lowest we paid in our entire 2-week trip to the UK. We were only there 2 visit relatives the hotel was ok but we weren't shown to our way we were told first floor after that we had to find our own way we weren't told about special in the hotel such has happy hour we were led to the most expensive menu but I did enjoy the hotel and there was one bus into town u do need to drive if u visit thus hotel has […] we found it awkward to find our way to hospice Baca selanjutnya

hotel was warm, staff were helpful, looked for vending machine for snacks but the hotel doesn`t have one so had to drive to local garage for items. I wanted a hotel close to the reebok football ground & it told me it was 1.1 miles away, but i think that was as the crow flew, it was a good 10mins in the car & you couldn`t have walked.

It suited our purpose. I did request a twin room which I thought had been booked. It was a double. The ventilation was poor & the air con would not go below 16C, an uncomfortable night followed

About as good as you can expect for the money you are paying. A bit worn down but not dirty.

The hotel is in a great area, it was very comfortable, and the beds are really comfortable, close to a few bus routes to get to the town centre, and about 200m from a Shell garage

Formerly a Holiday Inn, but allowed to deteriorate. A bit run down but adequate for a one night stay ( we were there for 5 nights)

Totally unprofessionally and rude day staff, very unhelpful and arrogant, rooms werent ready when we arrived, the place stank, very old decour, felt more like a prison, everything needs updating, uncomfortable beds, avoid like tha plague!!

I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and just wanted a cheap hotel in around Manchester. I was alittle apprehensive on first view of the hotel and the price. In terms of the room and hotel feel it is definitely the best value hotel in the UK I have ever stayed in and at that price i will be staying here everytme im in the area.

This hotel was terrible even given the low price. The staff was downright rude and I didn't see a smile the entire time I was there. The neigbourhood is not nice and the hotel itself was sketchy. I wouldn't stay there again even if it meant paying more money to go elsewhere.

Very friendy and helpful hotel. Good food in evening at good price, Excellemt breakfast : made porridge! Stayed here once before : recommended, Good position near M61 and Middlebrook (shopping). Quiet country views.

안락하고 조용해서 좋았고, 서비스도 양호하다. 하지만 와이파이 신호는 무용지물이며, 내 방에서는 인터넷을 사용할 수 없었음. 또한 볼튼 시내에서 접근성이 매우 떨어지며, 무조건 택시를 이용해야 하는 불편함이 있다.
