The resort was nice, right on the beach & good views from the balcony. The pools and outdoor bar were great and the staff were really friendly, as were the other guests. I wouldn't pick it as a romantic getaway though. The rooms are really noisy, you can hear everything, & I mean everything, that goes on in the rooms either side of you and from the […] hallway. We had a 6 night stay last week and found both the Hotel and holiday very good, relaxing and fun. The views from the balconies and pools were fantastic and we would sit for hours enjoying those views with a few cocktails or Chang beer. The location was great on the beach and probably one of the best placed hotels in that area. There are other hotels […] that look lovely and had good reviews, but we chose this because it was directly on the beach and there was no road to walk down, or cross to get to it which is a bonus. Great location on the beachside! Pool side overlooks the beach for those that like the sea but not the sand!!! The beachside restaurant was fantastic and the Grilled seafood platter a must!!!!!! Stayed 2 weeks in May -June 2012 Hotel position was close to shops and restaurants and quieter than Patong which suited us as seniors,We found the shower being over the bath was a steep rise to get in and out,Swimming Pools closed at 7pm should have been open longer as the beach had to much undertow to swim safely this time of the year, Kata Beach is […] a 10 min walk and a better option for swimming. The hotel was in a fantastic position on Karon Beach. Far enough away to be peaceful but close enough to some great restuarants and shopping. Two Chefs - just up the road... Highly recommended! We will be staying at Karon Beach Resort Again!!!

Excellent location on the beach, staff very friendly and efficient. The only downside was the bar closed at 10.00pm but there were plenty of good bars just outside the hotel.

This was our first time to Thailand and were not sure what to expect, we are a well traveled couple so can be fussy as to where we stay. We loved this hotel, it was clean, well positioned (right on the beach), quiet but with lots to do as soon as you soon as you walked out the hotel door, the staff were friendly, met lots of lovely people who were also […] staying there and we cant wait to go back. We had breakfast included in the price which was well worth it and there was a good variety of food. The hotel is a little tired however the rooms are roomy with very comfortable beds, and all have a balcony with outdoor seating. All rooms have a great view of the pool and the beach and the wonderful sunset. Food and drinks are a little more expensive than what you can get at the restaurants outside the hotel but still reasonable. When you walk out the hotel doors you have about 50 options of places to eat and drink and also lots of places for massages and shopping. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay at Karon Beach Resort. It is the ONLY resort that is actually on the beach, with stunning views of Karon and amazing beach sunsets. The beautiful, friendly & always helpful staff made our stay in Phuket amazing. The rooms are nice but the only downfall is the beds. We booked a king bed but found that they were 2 king singles […] pushed together (as we found them in most rooms after talking with other guests) The buffet breakfast is satisfying with lots of choices. The hotel is in a conveinient location, close to local resturants, markets and well known Patong only a 10min tuk-tuk ride away. Great location at the end of the beach, very quiet and friendly, attentive staff. Rooms are a little older and whoever designed the bathtub and shower should be shot! But other than that, we're looking forward to staying there again.

We stayed for 6 nights in early April. We had a ground floor room which interconnected with our son's room. I would recommend a ground floor room if you have children as it makes it easy to get to the pool and beach. However, try and request a room away from the pool bar and restaurant area as a band plays every night until about 10pm. Annoying if you […] have small children trying to sleep. The food at the restaurant was fantastic-couldn't fault it. Had trouble getting a hot shower at 7am every morning. The breakfast buffet was good-lots of Western and Asian choices. The view from the tables was fantastic-looking over the beach. The pool was small but nice. Only criticism was that there was not a lot of room around the pool for kids to play. To my opinion this hotel is perfect for its location though it has a few negative things evluated above in questionnaire. It was my 2-nd stay at this hotel and I think if go to Thai-Phuket I certainly will stop there again. Hope that room maintenance and codition will be renewed to my next visit.

Location of this hotel is great, you only have to walk down a few steps and you're on the beach. Pool area is located overlooking the beach. You open your bedroom door and the waves are right there. The setting is gorgeous and the people are very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is about 5 - 8 minutes by car or scooter, into Patong. Great hotel that I would highly recommend. Situated right on the beach front with amazing views of Karon Beach and awesome sunsets from our balcony. Following a flight delay management assisted us in arranging interconnecting rooms on our second day when initially not available and also provided a 'complimentary' birthday cake for a family member. Pool has a great swim up bar and beach/pool towels were changed daily. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Recommend 'The Sorrento' for cheap tasty meals and 'Two Chefs' for a bit more indulgence. Karon Beach is much quieter and less crowded then Patong...exactly what we were after. I would definitely recommend Karon Beach Resort to any prospective traveller. Having stayed in Patong on our previous visit we were looking for something a lttle less lively and more relaxing. Karon Beach Resort was well located with lots of lovely restaurants close by. I would recommend Kata beach though as opposed to Karon for swimming, Kata is only […] a short walk from the Resort and is much safer than Karon. Karon beach had strong currents and swimming was not advised there however at Kata, just a little walk away, was much safer. Karon Beach Resort has a Great Location on the Beachfront, but close enough to Shopping, Restaurants & Bars. Great Pool Bar with Cheap Cocktail. Breakfast is Good but The General Dining is ok but nothing too fancy. The Hotel is a bit Outdated and will require some renovations very soon. The Only thing I will say We will be back to This Hotel.

Having a clear view of the waves from outside our room was wonderful. Karon beach was beautiful and clean with a lovely sunset although the waves were a little strong. There were massage ladies at the beach for just S$12/hr though the spa was a little pricey. The room was clean with comfortable beds though our TV did not work. Location is the selling point of this hotel. It is just several steps to the beach. Also it is very easy to find a restaurant near the hotel. One of the disappointing thing is that the hotel did not provide free WiFi. Moreover, the room looked old. It seems the hotel has not renewed for a very long time.

Отличный отель для семейного, пляжного отдыха. Удобное месторасположение на первой береговой линии. Сервис соответствует заявленному. Номера не новые, но все с видом на море и в номере есть всё необходимое. Отличный пляж.

Hadde våre 2 første netter her når vi ankom karon. Flott beliggenhet,men for dyrt..å dette var i lavsesongen.. Hadde det vært en finere pris,så hadde vi kanskje vært dær hele ferien. Så vi endte opp på phuket island view resten av oppholdet,kjempefornøyd med.

Nød vores ophold i et deluxe værelse med havudsigt. Resortet er ret lille og det kneb med solsenge til alle gæster. Trods man reklamerer med det er det eneste resort direkte til stranden skulle man betale 100 bath pr. person for en solseng med parasol. Ellers et godt og hyggeligt lille resort med god service og en rimelig god morgenmads buffet. Ligger […] i udkanten af Karon og nærmere i begyndelsen af Kata med butikker og restauranter som vi også brugte under hele vores ophold.
