Barcelo Aran Mantegna - Rome

The air-conditioning was not functioning correctly in the room we were given so we were moved to another room. The air-conditioning however was no better in this other room and we were told "It's the best we can do". Bearing in mind it was over 35 deg.C outside it made the room very uncomfortable to sleep in. Even leaving the air-conditioning on all […] day (you will need 2 key cards to do this - when they tell you at the desk they will not give you 2 cards persevere...) made no difference. The rooms were quite spacious but both the carpets and marble flooring were stained and looked dirty. The stated 'black-out' blinds are not as advertised - they do let light in the room. They are also electrically operated and you will be completely aware when the next room is adjusting their blinds as the noise sounds as if is in your own room. There is no 'privacy' in the bathroom as there is a simple sliding glass door separating the bedroom area. To cap it off, there was a hair found in the scrambled eggs on the last morning of our stay. The location description states that it is close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. It is not in my opinion as it is about 4.5km to the Colosseum. Everything was fine. However the charges for internet is Euro$15 which is too expensive.

Ottima accoglienza e personale sempre disponibile. Colazione più che abbondante e variegata. Comodo parcheggio anche esterno. Comodo ai mezzi pubblici, consigliamo comunque la metropolitana, raggiungibile in breve tempo sia in auto che con il bus. Se proprio vogliamo cercare il pelo nell'uovo, unica pecca il bagno, in quanto e separato dalla stanza […] con una semplice porta a vetri satinati. Et super dejligt ophold. Det gjorde os ikke noget at det lå lidt ude for centrum, da man fik mulighed for at se hvad Rom faktisk indeholder af det lokale idet man skulle gå lidt for at komme til nærmeste metrostation der kunne fører os helt ind til centrum. Således fik vi oplevet to sider af Rom. Hotellet var virkelig lækkert! Morgenmaden bestod af […] alt det man kunne tænke sig og lidt til, vi kunne sagtens holde os mætte til over middag. Værelset var også rigtig lækkert ! og der var intet at klage over. Jeg kan varmt anbefale andre unge par til at tage herhen. Vi har nydt det i fulde drag! Et godt tip er dog at få anskaffet sig et ordentlig kort til nærområdet da det godt kan være lidt svært at finde rundt til at starte med. Baca selanjutnya

Gradevole, stanze spaziose e personale qualificato.

Dålig service i receptionen. Mycket bra frukostbuffé. Lokal skatt tillkom på redan betald vistelse.

Very nice hotel, food, amenities, cleaning, service, etc. And cost x benefit offsets the fact the location is not so good. A bit far from the main regions in Rome and lacks public transportation offers. But a small taxi run to the closest Subway station or shopping center. I could have stayed in a hotel close to the main attractions, but would pay much […] more for a lower grade hotel. If (or better saying WHEN!) I go back to Rome, I would stay there again. Hotel ben curato nei dettagli. Servizio ok anche se ho chiesto la sveglia per la mattina seguente e non sono stato svegliato. Camera studiata nei minimi particolari con quattro illuminazioni diverse per la stanza. Molto pulito. Si può raggiungere il centro in circa quindici minuti di macchina. Da tornarci!!!
