"Villa Estencia PV"
Hotel is beautiful, grounds are well manicured. food Great!! quite a way out of town and check in staff a bit uncooperative and procedure lengthy for this level of a hotel. Beds are hard
The beds are rock hard but the rooms are nice and do not have the "carribean resort" feel. The pool bar is great, but the wait staff is a little under staffed so service is slow. One thing to note is that the pool bar closes ar 6pm so one must go next door to the sister facility for after dinner drinks.

"Relaxing Stay"
Attentive, friendly service at this resort. Room was very clean and well maintained. Dining was good to excellent. Resort well maintained. Staff went above and beyond in making are stay memorable and pleasant. We would definitely return.

quiet, extremely clean, beautiful. Staff not familiar with package rules though, or credit card machines. we had to always ask for everything even included items were not offered and we had to request. Grand and very pleasant facility. would go back anytime. very safe resort. Good food too.
"Wonderful Hotel"
My husband and I just returned from our 4 night vacation at Villa La Estancia in Nuevo Vallarta. Our room (double) was very clean, quiet and spacious with a walk in closet and a shared balcony overlooking the pools. Both the private beach and the pool area were very clean and relaxing with a plenty of lounge chairs and fresh towels. The staff at the […] swim-up bar was wonderful. The gym (free) is well equipped with modern machines, free weights and faces a courtyard (not walled in like a typical hotel gym). We didn't have time to use the spa but it looked amazing. The check in/out process was a breeze (we were never once bothered by the "time share" sales talk). Last but not least, since this was our first Mexican vacation we didn't know what to expect as far as safety was concerned, but we were pleasantly surprised to find how safe we felt the entire time we were on the premises. If I had to list a few "cons" about this hotel: House Keeping: They did a wonderful job making our room every day (the turn down service was great!) but the couple of times we had to request specific items from them, we had to go through Front Desk (since Housekeeping staff do not speak English) and wait around 30 minutes. Maybe that's normal for a Mexican hotel... Food: The main restaurant at the hotel is extremely expensive (quality food, though, of course). If you are staying at Estancia for more than 4 nights, we recommend you eat at Flamingo (next door) or get a suite with a kitchen and cook a few times (a huge grocery store is five min. away from hotel). You can also go out to the town of Bucerias for less expensive meals(10 min. taxi ride) Location: This wasn't really a "con" for us since we went there to relax but if you are going to Puerto Vallarta for its night life, then Nuevo Vallarta isn't the right place. It costs about 75 pesos to downtown one way and takes anywhere from 20 min (early morning) to 45 min (with afternoon traffic). Overall, we highly recommend Villa La Estanc Baca selanjutnya

"Saludos"
El hotel en general es muy bueno, cómodo para descansar. Dan buen servicio en recepción, aunque un detalle adicional lo haría mejor.
"Second time the same month"
Since we had to go back to Puerto Vallarta within the same month, we had booked twice in Villa La Estancia. Again, the place is great, also the location, the facilities, the room, and of course also the warmth of the Mexican service, simply excellent! ... but also once again the food was a BIG dissapointment. We were in the 'all inclusive' package, […] but we didn't take advantage of the food, not even for breakfast. It seems there is an effort to make a 'high cuisine' of the food, but it turns out really bad over and over. I find surprising after reading the comments of previous guests in 2009, that still this problem hasn't been solved by the management. I strong recommend to the chef at the Villa La Estancia to review the cuisine, and make a more palatable menu. Mexican food is so delicious, that is a shame this has to be a criticism to the hotel.
