"1st Timer to NYC"
Enjoyed our 1st NYC trip and the comfortable quarters provided at Comfort Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was small if you are large or have more than three people, it would be very tight but the it was exceptionally clean and cozy! We enjoyed the nice breakfast, always a plus at the Comfort Inn with both cold and hot foods. The […] breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly. Made sure everyone was good and full and we came 1/2 hour before breakfast ended! Convenient to subways, Times Square, great restaurants. Had a small issue with the TV reception, but who goes to NY to watch TV. Not the hotels fault, the providers issue. Great front desk staff! Will definitely be back!
"Location and Service"
This hotel is extremely well located and the service level of the staff is outstanding, my wife loved it just this (and it was the only part she liked). Unfortunately the rooms are extremely small, outdated and the amenities are practically none existent. I give it a 4 on the surrounding neighborhood because it has a male strip bar next door to the […] entrance, but after that (and if you don't mind it) everything else if close within a 2 block radius. In regards to the breakfast, they should consider serving something else besides eggs and sausages for the hot part of the breakfast, and be advice that you need to be down on floor 1 before 8:00am or you end up eating standing up since they are only 3 tables that sit 10 total! But all together I had a nice experience, but would not stay there again unless I'm traveling alone and I would not dare recommend this hotel to my friends or co-workers. Baca selanjutnya

Positives: Room was quient and clean. Breakfast was good. Negatives: They did not have the room I asked for because of plumbing problems. So, instead of a King size bed, I had to accept a room with two twin beds. Also, the room was very small. Note: The location is convenient to everything, including Times Sq. Do you remember that episode of Seinfield where Jerry makes a reservation for a mid size car and when he goes to Car Rental place they say they only have a ford escort. Yeah that is what this hotel is like. They know how to make a reservation but don't know how to keep the reservation. Now there that is the trick to a reservation keeping that King size […] bed that I requested open cause there is two people sleeping on the bed and want to not fall off. This hotel was great either through me and my fiancee only stay for one night we enjoy our self because the hotel was area time square and shopping places too. I can't wait to come back to new york because this will be the first hotel we will stay at.

Perfect location that was close to all the attractions! The shower was a little dirty, the breakfast lounge was tiny and the selection of food was ok. The overall cleanliness of the room was good.The rooms are pretty small but we didn't spend much time in the room because it was close to so many places. It is also located not far from tons of food options, […] which was a major plus. I would recommend this hotel to travelers/vacationers because of the location and safety of the surrounding areas. The location of the hotel was convenient, a block from Times Square. The staff was great, especially whom ever checked me in on Sunday night around 10:00 pm, give her cudos for me. The room was typical for NYC very small, but had accommodations, They serve a continental breakfast on the first floor which is a valuable $$$ saver in the city. Parking […] across the street is $40/day which is reasonable for the City. They do not have a workout room, but offer a $10/day with a club on 41st (NY sportclub) there hours, however start at 6:00 in stead of 5:00 for you early risers. We booked this hotel last minute, thanks to hotel.com. It was right in the centre of times square. No need for taxis. All we did was to walk to whatever places we need to go. Easy access to everything. The staff are all polite and accommodating. Yes if we ever comeback in new york i will definitely stay in this hotel and will also recommend it to friends […] and families. There is only 2 things i want to suggest to improve their services: 1 - baby cribs that they provide as complimentary services must be padded. My grandson hit his head several times that's why we have to return it after our first night using it. 2 - this hotel provide complimentary breakfast which is good value for our stay. A high chair for a baby ( 1pc ) should be available in the breakfast area. 3 - My daughter stepped on a piece of glass on the floor in our room. We brought our own first aid kit but the hotel should have their own first aid kit accessible to visitors. Nicest room I've had in NYC- small (as all NYC rooms) but completely updated, extremely clean and nice. The staff were extremely nice, helpful- we had a burned out light bulb and it was changed immediately. The breakfast was great, but you better get there early- like 7:30 or before, because the space is very small and this is a large hotel. The location […] is wonderful- walk a block or 2 down to 9th Ave where there is an amazing selection of restaurants. Cut thru Bryant Park to get to Grand Central if you are meeting people, not far from several theaters. i was not completely impressed with this hotel. the bathroom was very dirty, evenhaving mold on the walls in the bathroom. i also tried to close the latch over the lock on the inside of the door, and it broke off...right into my hand! it wasn't even a metal latch, it was gold looking plastic! the hotel is also not as close to times square as stated, […] which made it a little more difficult traveling with a 4 year old. the streets outside the hotel were very very dirty! it looked as if there were a couple of bags of trash that had been ripped apart, and poured all over the sidewalk. i don't think i would stay here again, and we frequently travel to new york. i was hoping for a better experience! The room was very small and the TV carried only 2 channels. Breakfast was available late. Prostitutes were working at the side of the hotel. I shall never return to this "hotel."
Our sincere apologies that your stay was not what you expected. By New York City standards, our rooms are considered comfortable and spacious. We strive to provide a clean and comfortable room for all of our guests and although you found the room tight; rest assured, it was very clean.I apologize for the TV, we do carry 25 channels and I show no records of an outage during your stay with us; should we have be alerted, we could have investigated it for you. There is a nightclub next door, so perhaps the people you speak of had been guests of the night club. Our apologies for falling short, we would welcome an opportunity to turn your perception around on a future stay.

I would NEVER come back! This place was disgusting. We got to the hotel and the location is horrible and small. Our room was ridiculously small and the hotel service was bad. We didn't have sheets on our bed and had to wait 6hrs just to get them. I would never recommend this place. Please stay away!!!!
Our sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations during your stay. For the most part, the guests that stay with us come for the location and all that the hotel offers. For New York CIty standards, our rooms offer great value; they are clean and well appointed. Our complimentary hot breakfast is an added perk as it is complimentary with your stay. Rest assured, management has been spoken with to assure that the hotel is never short on linen; even though we find no record of being short during your stay. "The Comfort Inn in New York City"
Perfect location for a great price. We were 4 adults so the room was a little small but they all are in New York City. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast is standard for the Comfort Inn hotel chain. Hot eggs, sausage, waffles, all sorts of breads, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, yogart, cereal. It was a great savings […] on food. Rooms were very small , the only view i had was of a building under construction right in front of me. This should be last resort if you cant find any other place in NY & if its really required for you to be there then book it. Do not recommend this for family at all.

"Loud water pipes at 1 am !!"
The water pipes started humming loudly at about 1 am. This went on and on. I called the front desk and they acknowledged this was a problem but that they couldn't do anything about it. If they know it is a problem why do they book peaple in this room? I didn't get to sleep before 3 am.

The pictures on the website fool all who book this hotel. The service at the front desk was the only good part out of my whole experience! The first room we had was decent in size but, had many other problems. The door to our room didn't shut, there was a cockroach in our bathroom, and the maid service did not come in and pick up our trash! They only […] made our beds. We then requested a second room and that was easily obtained thanks to the helpful front desk. Our second room was smaller (I didn't know that was possible) and had another multitude of problems. The pillows didn't have pillow cases on them, this wouldn't be a problem except that when we asked that they put pillow cases on them, they just dropped the cases on the bed and made us put them on the pillows. The shower and toilet both made awful noises when used and there was another bug in our room. Again the maids didn't not do anything but, make our beds. The location to everything was great. You are in walking distance to Times Square and various different subway stations but, it is not worth it for me. I would rather stay somewhere where they care about their service rather than stay somewhere that is easy accessible to main attractions. The pictures on the website are false! Yes they do have a free breakfast but, it is terrible. Also, if you don't mind having bass bumping into your room then you can certainly stay here. The walls are paper thin so, you can hear everything that goes on outside the room. There happens to be a sketchy club right next to the hotel that pounds their bass until about 3 in the morning. There is also an increased amount of trash outside of the hotel on the street. In conclusion, the hotel was terrible. The management really needs to re-evaluate their hotel. "Good location."
This hotel is very close to Times Square, which is always a plus. It is a rather small hotel, but the staff are very friendly. I did not get houskeeping during my stay, which is OK with me, but I guess some people may care about that. I would recommend this hotel to people that don't care too much about fanciness.

The hotel lobby, breakfast room, and our room were quite clean. The staff were courteous and appeared competent. The only downside of our stay was the hotel location, a little way from Times Square. We came back from a play about midnight and the final three block walk to the hotel was a bit intimidating to persons from small-town America. Nothing happened. […] We just felt uncomfortable. "Hotel NY Garment section"
We booked a king size bed and got 2 doubles. The room had a strong smell of Chinese or Indian food, The consierge was of no help, in fact he lied, saying we would never get a cab to take us to LGA at 7 PM at night. We walked around the bend ,to the cab stand and got one immediately. He apparently wanted a cut from the "car" he pushed for us to book. "Convenient, but not my first choice"
My regular mid-town hotel was booked so I figured I'd try the Comfort Inn. Room was small and cramped, but clean. The flat-screen TV looked awful and I couldn't adjust the picture to my liking. The shower curtain did not extend into the tub so I had a huge puddle of water in the bathroom after taking a shower. Breakfast was typical for this type of […] hotel, but it was included.
