Holiday Inn Express Charles Town - Ranson

The hotel was very clean and the room was big. It was nice and quiet. If you are visiting Hollywood Casino, it is a very convenient. We were visiting Harpers Ferry, which was also very close. the hotel was clean staff was friendly. breakfast was not great but there was a lot of selection. The bus to the casino was fantastic and ran every 20 minutes. Pool was cold but clean. Rooms were spacious and clean. Overall would definitely come again.

The hotel was undergoing some cosmetic updates/construction, but the overall cleanliness was impeccable. The staff was so nice and friendly and made our stay comfortable and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again and again .... thank you!

This is your run of the mill HI Express, except they should let you know before you book that they are currently under renovation. There were hallways blocked off, wallpaper was peeled off the walls, etc.

We were shocked after we checked in to find that this hotel is in the process of a major renovation. Literally half the hotel was closed, and the hallways were blocked with plastic drop-cloths and washing machines. In the half of the hotel that was open, the hallways were in various states of having their wallpaper removed and being spackled, and the […] carpets were filthy. Although our room was comfortable and clean, the hallways were a wreck and it felt as if we were in a fleabag hotel that charges by the hour. Honestly, this hotel should be closed while this work is being performed. They should have completed work in the other half, then opened it and closed the 2nd half while they renovated. We were greatly disappointed with Hotels.com for renting us this room, and considering the condition of the hotel, the rate we paid was far too high. Extremely disappointed. Baca selanjutnya

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the hallways, etc. were very clean. The shuttle bus service to the casino was very convenient. The only downfalls to this hotel are the beds aren't very comfortable and the free breakfast was not that good. WE love to stay here when we go up to the Casino. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The shuttle to and from the Casino is the greatest. The staff is always smiling and happy to answer any questions or help in anyway possible.

Sheets could be less coarse, could use an operating pancake cooker. preferrable belgian waffle maker. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel, would stay again. Shuttle service back & forth to casino was great.

Room was in excellent condition - exceptionally clean. Staff was wonderful! The free breakfast was more than we expected & delicious! Wonderful stay - will book again for future getaways to Charles Town!

The location was great, room very clean with no problems and the service was superb. The breakfast host was very courteous and friendly. A real southern, down to home treatment. Will definitely recommend to others.

We love this hotel and choose it every time we are visiting Charles Town. The employee's are always very nice and accommodating. A definite plus is that it is on the shuttle route for the Hollywood Casino!

staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Room was anice size. Halls smelled a little strange. Upholestry on chairs were dirty needed cleaning.

We had a great time at this location. Unfortunately, our car broke down when we arrived but the wonderful staff helped us find a mechanic that was open on Saturday. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out of a tight situation.

Holiday Inn Express was a nice alternative to staying on-site at the casino. The service was top class, the breakfast was very tasty, and you can't beat the proximity to the casino. Pricing will always be an issue, but when compared to the others, I'd rank it above all others. Look forward to going back.

I really enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn express because I was provided with a great deluxe breakfast and I was given the opportunity to catch the shuttle bus which runs 24/7 to local attractions within the area. Also the staff members were very helpful and friendly.

The room had an odor which made our stay a bit uncomfortable. It was likely because the vent fan in the bathroom didn't work and it created a mold smell in the room. We informed the staff about the problem but we were not offered any alternatives. Other than that everything was a typical hotel stay. Breakfast was good.

We had reserved a non-smoking room and upon checking in, they put us in a room that had had a smoker before (even though the room was marked non-smoking). I called the desk (though I had to call twice) and they moved us to a pure non-smoking room - which was very nice. (The earlier room was very clean; it just had the smoking odor - even though they […] tried to use a deodorizer to clear the smell.) Otherwise everything was great. Very nice hotel quite close to rafting, walking & Summit Point racetrack. Staff are very professional & the hotel was well taken care of.
