Hotel G Beijing - Beijing

In a good location in Chaoyang. A 5-10 minute walk to Chaoyangmen Station, or a cheap cab ride to anywhere. Rooms are fun and well appointer. Breakfasts are good. Staff is helpful. I've stayed there 6 times already. Splurge for a great room.

Really nice hotel and staff. One small mess up due to language barriers on a taxi booking was rectified immediately by the front desk so can't complain. Room was spacious, comfrotable and a a decent number of TV channels in English was a welcome hour of chilling out. The location is really nice and quiet so your sleep will not be distrubed. Its located […] right next to the Worker's stadium so its a great landmark to return to if you get lost for any reason. Beijing is super safe anyways and I never once felt threatend walking around at night. DO remember to take the hotel address card with you as many taxi drives don't speak english so you'll need mandarin. This is my 3rd time at Hotel G. It is in a good location if walking to a metro station that is a good 10 minugte walk is ok with you. It is hard to findi initially especially for taxis and have a hotel number available for your driver to call for directions. Overall it met my expectations of a hotel in Beijing. I was disappointed that the description of the location claims Sanlitun. However, this is not located in Sanlitun. It is located in the Worker's Stadium area, which is completely different. Sanlitun is a 10 minute cab ride away. At least half of my days there, we received towels that were stained […] (white towels are provided). I needed a sewing kit and found one in the bathroom. The wrapper was black with dirt. I called the front desk to send me another. A rude woman came to deliver me another one. When she practically threw it at me, I realized that it was also dirty and said so to her in Mandarin. The Hotel G was amazing. The interior design of the rooms were unique and differed from each other. The restaurant had a really nice breakfast buffet and entree items. It also had fresh squeezed oj and fresh watermelon juice. The bed was comfortable and my shower was a religous experience.

Not in the touristy neighborhood, this boutique hotel has a small lobby but generous rooms. Interesting decor, and nice big bathrooms. The breakfasts were a combo of asian and western and ample. It's a good healthy walk to the subway, but taxis are readily available, and for 10 yuan a ride ($1.50 USD) it is no big deal. Hotel G is out of the way of most important venues in an alleyway that most cabdrivers cannot locate. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel G. The room was very comfortable with a hidden mini fridge and free water given each day. The bathroom was up-to-date (tho needing some cosmetic repairs) and large enough for 2 people to get ready at the same time. Breakfast was great. We got to eat off the buffet of fresh fruits/salads/breads and cereals. And than there […] was a short freshly prepared hot breakfast to choose from as well. Coffee was made per cup from freshly ground beans. Many of the staff though did not speak English or were to shy to try. Sergei was amazing he was so helpful and friendly even late at night we could rely on him. Only downfall was at night it was a little noisy Friday & Saturday due to the bar scene below ~ as we were facing the street. There were two computers to use in the business office and a small excercise room to use for everyone. Overall we were happy to have stayed at Hotel G. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice to be a little off the beaten track for some peace and quiet after long days in the hussle and bustle of the city. Subway was a short 10 minute walk away. Unfortunately most taxi drivers were not familiar with this section of the city and getting taxi's from 4pm on was almost impossible. But the district itself had everything you needed even a shopping mall of bargain clothes. We would stay at Hotel G again if we make it back to Beijing. Baca selanjutnya

Hotel G is a beautiful boutique Hotel, has a French chef and excelent happy hours, it is a little far from the subway but in Bejing eveything is far. I highly recommend the Hotel, you find more people who speak english than in another hotel, great service!

While the neighborhood is amazing, there are two main drawbacks. (1) The shower has the very hot and very cold fine line. The service was ok. Nothing special, but with a fair understanding of English, so that helped. The rooms were nice, and although the "bare" look of the decoration isn't my cup of tea, it was clean and well made. The only drawback is that is it a bit out of the way. Hotel itself is quite nice, but like a lot of Beijing it's starting to look a little untidy around the edges. Will need a mini refurbishment soon to bring it back up to standard. Breakfast is great. If you stay there, disconnect the wireless access point and connect directly to the hotel network via cable. The location is perfect for walking to both our favorite massage parlor (Bodhi) and to the shopping area, Ya Show Market. All the breakfast options are great, the staff was very helpful, fitness area good, and the room comfortable and stylish. The area is in the club district but just a little noisy on the weekend. Highly recommend!

Never been to Beijing before and read many reviews before selecting this hotel. Best location for 5 star restaurants and night clubs as you can see them from the hotel (Bellagio-Green Tea House). Ok location for the subway as its a fairly short walk. Booked both room & studio room and these were very nicely decorated, clean and modern. My corner room […] had windows on both sides. After spending a week in the mountains of southern China living in a small village Beijing was a welcome sight! We loved this hotel and the Bar. lol Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. The main problem is we were there in january and it was extremely cold. The nearest metro station is a 20 min. walk and taxi's are difficult to deal […] with unless you are going to a tourist sight. The green tea house is near by and a amazing dining experience (most expensive meal we had in Beijing) but totally worth it. Lots of big dance clubs near by but we preferred the hutong were there are cute little bars and shops more low key. So location would be better if the weather was nice but everything just seemed far in freezing weather. The folks at Hotel G were very warm and accommodating throughout our stay. It was our first time in Beijing and we were very impressed with this hotel. It is not '5-star' luxury, but very hip, trendy and clean (think hotel W). This hotel has a very nice restaurant and bar and serves a great (and free) breakfast that includes fresh orange juice, eggs […] and a buffet. The staff was readily available and spoke enough English to communicate effectively. Every request we made (adapter for laptop, iron, laundry) was met quickly and kindly. Be warned that China still allows indoor smoking so the restaurant and bar can get quite smoky, but that is our only complaint. There are non-smoking rooms. The hotel is near several clubs, bars and restaurants. Everything else in Beijing is quickly accessible by train (very modern and efficient) or taxi (very cheap, but make sure to use official cabs with meters, not private taxis as they frequently try to scam tourists). We don't have children and I'm not sure if I'd stay here if we did. Hotel G seems more appropriate for the singles crowd or couples. There is no pool but there is a nice business center and a small but clean and modern workout room. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Beijing! Baca selanjutnya

The staff and accommodations at Hotel G were fabulous. I have to highly recommend purchasing the breakfast which was wonderful, and a great way to start an adventurous Beijing morning. We ate at the hotel every night and the food was well priced and delicious. While the Hotel is in a Central-ish location to major sites, none of taxi driver's could find […] it easily (in fact our our driver from the airport dropped us off at the wrong hotel). Make sure to print a map and a picture of the hotel before going as is it not a major chain and of a side street that many drivers cannot find. Once you are checked-in, the hotel staff are quick to call for Taxi service. If you're planning to do a Great Wall Trip, I'd recommend hiring the Hotel car and driver for the day. Baca selanjutnya

Amazing hotel! Convenient location, all tourist attractions were only a 10-15 min taxi ride away costing less than £2, close to an ATM and several chemists and close to lots of restaurants and nightclubs. Hotel Manager Alex upgraded our room, provided us with a DVD player and DVD and even gave us a champagne breakfast for my boyfriend's 40th birthday. […] He also recommended the best places to visit and gave us an idea of the prices to pay at the market ensuring that we got a bood bargain! Betty and the rest of the staff were all friendly and spoke English. They went out of their way to help us, ordering taxis for us and informing the taxi driver where we wanted to go. The decor and rooms were done beautifully and ordering from their pillow menu ensured I had a good night's sleep every night. We thought we would struggle being vegetarians in Beijing but the hotel catered for our needs and provided us with a lovely vegetarian breakfast. Being in Beijing strictly for tourist reasons (Great Wall, Tianamen square (sorry for spelling)), this place was too far out of the way to be convenient. We had to take long taxi rides everywhere and coming back it was almost impossible to describe the location to taxi drivers even with an address card. I booked this because it had such great reviews […] on Trip Advisor, but I suspect this is because the hotel is very 'modern' - with colouful lights, dark decor, and other unecessarily fancy stylish things. 場所がわかりにくい。タクシーも行けないくらい。週末は欧米人のツアーで騒がしいらしい。それ以外は広々としてスタイリッシュで英語も普通に通じるいいホテルでした。

酒店的硬件设施， 装修， 灯光， 酒店配置都很好， 但是入住的时候居然没有空调， 房间内温度30度 晚上睡觉根本睡不着， 服务更糟糕，电话打好久没有人接， 投诉要他们的grm 来也没有反映。 晚上开夜床居然送两个油炸的麻球， 没有任何摆盘或卡片， 回来后感觉有其他人进来过酒店在沙发上吃东西似的。 管理的细节还很多不到位，房间的细节卫生也是如此。

Fini l'esprit "grande chaîne", voilà un hôtel au caractère vraiment unique : éclairage très étudié, bar à vin de premier plan, chambres spacieuses et bien équipés (station iPod, wifi gratuit...) La situation de l'Hotel G est vraiment idéale, dans le quartier des meileurs restaurants, bars et surtout clubs de la ville.

Heilt topp hotell. Veldig praktisk design. Har bare sett lignene på The Standard downtown LA. Stort rom med stor dobbeltseng i senter. Stor tv og Ipod dock. Bad, toalett og dusj reint og fint samtidig som det ar veldig stilig. Hadde problem med internett oppkobling ved annkomst, det tok berre tre min så var det der for å hjelpe.. Topp service. Trivelig […] design. God restaurant på grunnplan. Godt utvalg av ost og vin ++ Frokosten var allsidig. I teillegg til mykje frukt kunne erin velge 8 feoskjellige varianter fra Western til vegitar.. Hotellet ligger meget godt. Det tror man ikke når man først ser det men man finder hurtigt ud af at det er the place to be. Syns måske det var lidt dyrt i forhold til at der for eksempel ikke var pool og morgenmades var ikke top.
