The Inn was a quaint & a beautiful home, although the only thing I found out of the ordinary was the person working there, he was not welcoming, said very little, besides the rules and regulations etc.....was helpful when we asked for directions, but not a cheerful and talkative person like all the other B&B's we've stayed at! Just found him to be odd! […] But everything else was awesome, after all the walking it was sure nice to have a restaurant and a great one at that, a few yards away, and a hot tub to boot, all was great! It was a last minute thing. It is very nice, on the quaint side. Reading other reviews, we were unsure of the breakfast. What we experienced was very nice. The only thing that I would change is the length of time and starting time of breakfast. 8:30 is late for me, and only an hour window for folks to eat.

Cute B&B. Rooms are very small and there is only a double bed. 15 minute walk to the beach and to most restaurants.

Good all round b & b in Ogunquit. Rooms very clean - no bath but that not a problem. Breakfast was nice touch with fruit ,waffles & nice coffee. Right in downtown Ogunquit so no need of car during our stay. Staff friendly & efficient. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we asked where we should go for dinner on our second night there and they were very helpful. The location was perfect, a short walk to the main downtown area and beach!

Absolutely happy and satisfied.....room 5 very nice, clean, beautiful & quiet. Breakfast very good. Will return any time. B&B formula, 5 minutes walk from the center & 10 min. to the beach wow! was the most affordable for a few weeks delay reservation. Thanks to owners. Diane

The bed was not a queen as advertised.Bit uncomfortable for a 60+ couple used to a king bed!

Overall, it was a good experience. Innkeeper was personable and keeps the property in great shape. Shared bathroom was never an issue. Could have used a bit more hot water for showers, but not a big problem. Continental breakfast was adequate, but a few less carbs and a bit more protein would have been nice.

My husband and I spent a weekend at this inn. We were both pleasantly pleased with the entire experience. The inn's charm completed the weekend. We will be staying here again and will recommend the inn to any one who wants to get a restful getaway.

The O.I. was perfect for a single/couple wanting to stay near the center of town. I was in a room that shared a bath with one other room and didn't have one problem as far as not having access to it. The place was very clean and the breakfeast was great for a continental type. Great coffee!

Will stay there again, Kirk our host was fantastic. If anything needs to change, a table in our room would have been useful.

The inn was well located, the person at reception was very nice and helpful and his dog harry was very cute. The room was warm, clean, olde worlde charming and everything that was promised.

The only draw back is that after I committed to the booking, it was revealed that the Ogunquit Inn could not quarantee the room that I viewed through Hotel.com. which was room #3. I viewed the room through the Inn's website. Room # 3 had a private bath but I noticed that the confirmation stated that It had been switched to Room # ! which had a shared […] bath. However, upon arrival to the Inn, we had been reassigned to Room #6 which did have a private bath and turned out to be quite satisfactory Baca selanjutnya

Some reviewers criticized the building, the breakfast, the attitude of the proprietors- I got what I wanted. A reservation for one night without any insistence that I pay for 2 or 3 nights. The breakfast was good! Make your own waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, good coffee, cereal. That will get you going. There is a terrific restaurant right in front of […] the house if you want more. The house is old and the walls are thin, so what. Everything was clean and inviting. We were in room 3 on the 2nd floor and we had a great outside entrance and deck with 2 chairs and table. This is a lovely place to stay. A charming old Victorian Inn in the center of Ogunquit. The only problem for me was that we had to share a bathroom on the second floor, so chose a 3rd for room with a private bath. It cost extra, and hauling our luggage up 3 flights of steep narrow stairs was not easy. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Unfortunately, the place has been neglected. It has so much potential given the location but there a lot of maintenance issues. The rooms need a major updating. It appears as if the management just gave up. There wasn't anything inviting or comfortable about the stay. Fresh white linens on a comfortable mattress with a head board, a ceiling fan, coffee […] all morning with pastries, a quiet air conditioner, a nicely done bathroom with a shower curtain that fits, a fixed screen door, a swept patio all would help a sad situation there. BTW, i've never written a negative review before, but this place was a huge disappointment. Thank fully Ogunquit is as beautiful as ever and there are a lot of other options to stay at the next time. Normanly We would go to York beach ,we try some thing different --- It was a good time ------ the bed and breakfast was nice and clean , quite very restful time we were a little worry, when we found out we book a share bathrooom but no problem it was clean and there was no waiting to use it We would go again The town was a 1/2 mile walk and lots of […] resturant to choose from. I enjoyed my stay at the Ogunquit Inn very much. The innkeeper was friendly and kind. The location is within walking distance to the shops in town and the inn is located ina quiet neighborhood. Loved the porch off our room. The flowers were beautiful and the atmosphere very relaxing!!!! I would return there for another stay and recommend it to friends. Great staff, sparkling clean, relaxing atmosphere, within walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, movie theater. Ogunquit Playhouse 2 minute drive. Will certainly recommend The Ogunquit Inn and will return next year.

I'm not quite sure how the Ogunquit Inn gets away with calling itself a B & B. Breakfast consisted of cheap bagels/pastries and coffee. Also, make sure you double check which room you are getting. We booked our room without any knowledge of the fact that it had a shared bathroom! Not cool!

The Ogunquit Inn was a wonderful place with very attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere. From the first steps thru the door, we heard relaxing music and felt at home for the duration. The room was very warm the first night, requiring us to leave the window and outside door open for comfort. nice and quiet, even though it is very near Hwy 1. be careful or you might miss it...... Breakfast was NOT a sit down affair. But it was sufficient and good. The room was very nice, clean, and decorated very Victorian. It was as promised!

this was a great B&B to stay at. The owner was helpful and directed us to different local sites and places to eat. There were other guests there as well and it was very quiet. Breakfast was nice, although for some reason I thought it would be something more home made.

The manager is in the wrong business. He has no public relations personality at all. Also, since the breakfast has a strict 8:30 to 9:30 policy, the least he could do is have a coffee pot available for the guests. No we won't book there again nor will our friends if we are asked for a recommendation.

We thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed during our stay at the Ogunquit Inn. It is set back a little from the hustle and bustle of Oqunquit during the summer, and the setting is extremely relaxing. Some rooms have shared bathrooms; ours had a private one. We also had a semi-private porch overlooking a small pond. The inn combines the modern conveniences […] with old-fashioned decor and excellent service. There is a lovely sitting room downstairs and a breakfast nook. A lovely continental breakfast was provided each morning, included with the room charges, and various complimentary snacks were also placed out in the afternoon. The inn has the appearance and personalized service of a bed and breakfast, but it also has free wi-fi access and a wonderful jacuzzi out back that is available for guests until late-night hours. A small refrigerator was in our closet, and we were able to fill up a small ice bucket for our use. The inn has a selection of DVDs to watch, and there are small TVs and DVD players in each room. The inn was always quiet and private, but guests were friendly to each other, and there was always a nice "home away from home" atmosphere. We would definitely return to these accomodations any time we are in Ogunquit. The only thing missing is a view of the ocean, but if you can live without that you will have a wonderful experience at the Ogunquit Inn. Baca selanjutnya

We stayed at the B&B for our 1st anniversary. It was comfy. It's in a nice location - just off main st. It's a short walk to the center of town and across the bridge to Ogunquit Beach. There's a trolley stop in front of the restaurant - which makes it convenient to take to the beaches - if you don't want to drive and park. I will definitely go there […] again. Baca selanjutnya
