"The beach was wonderful"
Our stay was great, two minor problems, air conditioner was very noisy and hair dryer did not work. Rm, #268 We loved the beach, the sunset, the very friendly staff and the breakfasts and lunches were ample. We would certainly considere returning next year. We are Vermont residents, residing in Inverrness during winter months.

Very close to the beach, nice pool, which we were able to bring our. own cooler. The food at the tiki bar was good. The only complaint it's the pillows were super flat. Overall I think it was perfect for a cheap little getaway

Some of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. We were suppose to be their for two nights but left the next afternoon. I just could not sleep in those beds again. The food at the hotel was good. "Extra charges, bugs and DIscomfort! Not worth it!"
Have stayed here many times throughout the years and have never been 100% satisfied, but this time was the last straw. The bed was so hard it felt like we were lying on cement! We were charged an extra $20 to park because we had 2 vehicles. The 'hold' that was put on my credit card for incidentals became actual charges that no one seems to know how […] they got there or what they were for. We never charged anything to room. Wifi was horrible and service in restaurant was non existant. Sorry Dolphin, but you are terribly overpriced for the roach motel you are. Ps yes we found ROACHES in our room!! Baca selanjutnya

"Fun and relaxing!"
The Dolphin Beach Resort was exactly what my family (me, husband and 11 yr old daughter) wanted for our vacation to St. Pete's Beach. We had a first floor room with a patio door that opened to the pool and the gulf. Plenty of pool chairs just steps away. Shade when you wanted it. Food and drink available if you wanted it. "black mold"
There was black mold on the ceiling tiles near the bathroom and flying bugs in the room- not a good impression. Lots of smokers at, in and around the pool- really a shame.

This hotel was not 5 star but its prime location and on sight restaurant and bar were nicely priced and pretty good! POOL and beach area were the best. Rooms are average but who spends time in the room? It was clean and no one bothered us..just how we like it..Will return loved the convenience of location.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was discourteous, unorganized, and inefficient. We had to wait three hours for our room to be ready and we could not check in unitl 6:00 pm. They wouldn't even give us a drink voucher for the bar while we waited and talked back to other customers who showed dissatisfaction with their service. "Good enough"
Great location. It was clean, but did have the feel of 1985 Spring Break. Needs updating, a good modern makeover. Its in the middle of all these modern, new hotels. Discovered that if there were rooms available, for $30 more per night, we could have stayed at The Tradewinds. Overpriced. This hotel is an older hotel, the room smelled old. The night attendant was not focused on customer service at all, we felt like an inconvenience. However, the overall experience was enjoyable. The morning attendant was exceptional, the room was large and spacious. The pool and shuffle board was very nice. ** A nice remodel would do this hotel well. What my wife and and I liked about this hotel: convenience to beach; nice swimming pool and pool area; Publix across the street; price on Hotels.com; spacious room; comfortable bed. What we didn't like about this hotel: More attention could have been paid to room cleanliness to compensate for age and wear. Had to pay extra for a view and the hotel was not anywhere near 1/3 full. The room we got was next to the Tiki Bar and the music was quite loud but it ended early enough not to affect sleeping. Bed was comfy restaurant was good and reasonable priced. Service was good.

Very clean with alot of updates. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was for the price. Only thing I did not care for was the leaf blower at 8am on a Sunday on New Years Day. That was a bummer. Other than that I recommend this hotel and I would stay there again

Wanted other accomendations down the beachd, but couldn't afford it, now I'm glad I didn't fork out the extra money. Our beds were the most comfortable out of all the hotels we stayed at in Florida. example...my room had been cleaned not up to par in my opinion and the cleaning crew did not even replace the toilet paper. When I went downstairs to go to the front desk to ask for the toilet paper to be filled and they handed me the toilet paper to put in the room myself. Hotel is pretty old, but has everything you need for a great gateway.. It ain't no Ritz, but definitely tolerable if you are not too picky.. It is what it is.. but enjoyable!! Come on its right on the beach!!

Clean with a decent location, but needs serious management improvement. Stayed New Year's eve and was disappointed with it's party. Closed the pool bar at 6:00. We had to go elsewhere for entertainment. Sunday Jan. 1st 8:30 AM, pool boy using a leaf blower when we were trying to get a little more sleep. We got no help from the front desk.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a very nice hotel, friendly staff, and right on the beach.
Older hotel but well maintained. We spent a weekend on a third floor room. Nice view, great pool area. The only drawback we experienced was the noise from the pool area for about an hour and a half. They had a group of Indian drums that was so loud we could hardly hear our tv in our 3rd floor room. It didn't last long and that one incident would not […] prevent us from staying there again. The service was excellent from each staff member we met and we felt welcome. The room was bigger than we expected and the location amazing!

The pool was great and access to the beach was wonderful. Location good. The room was clean except for food left in the fridge. Room was small and beds small. Hotel could use some new carpet in lobby and elevator was jumping and had to press buttons often and didn't light up. Hotel staff was not very helpful but don't know if because they can't. There […] is no business center to print boarding passes. Would be simple to put a computer in the lobby for guests. Nice that shower is divided from sink area. We stayed at this hotel when we took our daughter to Eckerd College. The hotel has seen better days, and it's a stretch to call it a resort. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom is miniscule. The electronic lock was malfunctioning -- we had to swipe our key repeatedly before we got a green light, and then move quickly before […] it locked again. We ate breakfast in the restaurant twice. Service was friendly, but slow. The food was fine, and prices were very reasonable. All in all, this hotel is a perfectly adequate if you are looking for a clean , moderately priced place to stay in St. Pete's Beach. "A Great Place!"
We spent 4 nights there recently while enrolling our son in a nearby college. I have minimal complaints. It's not a luxury hotel...more of a "mom and pop" retro style, but with all the good stuff and a casual atmosphere. Everyone was very nice from the housekeeping staff to the bartender. You have a full dining room (good food, reasonable prices), an […] indoor and outdoor bar, right on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The pool area was very nice. You can walk to the grocery store and wonderful restaurants (don't miss our favorite, Crabby Bills). The elevator was a little unreliable, but no big deal. And the beds are going to need replacing soon (add some feather pillows, please!). I would stay there again without question and recommend it hightly (this part of Florida really needs some economic help, so spend your vacation $$$ here and have a wonderful time). Baca selanjutnya

It was an average hotel, a little below my expectations. The Pool was ok and the beach was nice and conveniently located to parasailing and other beach sports.
