My Way Guesthouse - Durham

Over the past two years I've needed to stay in Durham quite frequently and I've never stayed in the same location twice (like experiencing new things, etc)... other than this one! I've stayed here three times now, it's; relaxed, friendly, room cleanliness is perfect, rooms are extremely well decorated, breakfast good, nice owners. For me I feel comfortable […] here. Such friendly and helpful hosts. Our recently refurbished room was beautifully comfortable and well appointed and the views from the breakfast room outstanding. Our stay was all too short.

Absolutely first class. Welcomed by Kim and Mark and met Kim's sister Pam and Peter. They all made me so welcome. Will certainly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again guys you were excellent. Keep up the good work. Also terrific views over the countryside.

I spent 5 nights at My Way Guesthouse and used it as a base to visit Durham by public transport. The bus runs every 20 minutes or so and it is an easy ride into Durham City. No hassles and expense of finding and paying for a parking spot. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Kym and Mark and family. They made me fell quite at home and were there to answer […] any quesstions I had. The accommodations were quiet and very comfortable and the breakfasts were great! The fresh flowers, high quality furnishings and selection of local information, novels and dvds added to my enjoyment. My Way Guesthouse offers fine hospitality, extensive countryside views, access to public footpaths and an excellent value, especially for the single traveller. Baca selanjutnya

Little a bit further out of Durham than anticipated - it would nave been a good 40 mimute walk, although there is a local bus service. Superb views with large picture windows to take full advantage and a great area for country walks. Would be happy to return in the future.

MyWay is a little gem, clean and comfortable with friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Mark and Kim were great hosts and couldn't be more helpful. The bed, unlike those in most hotels, was extremely comfortable and large enough to accommodate the tallest person. But probably the best feature is the location, providing a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside (make sure you ask for one of the rooms […] with this view), with the very good breakfast served in a conservatory also taking full advantage of the view. This is a fairly new B & B, but the owners have done a wonderful job of renovations. There is a glorious conservatory with views over the garden (still to be completed), the paddock with horses and the glorious countryside beyond. Really enjoyed talking to our host, who was extremely helpful when we had a minor problem with our car. An extremely comfortable […] and quiet nights sleep, followed by a beautiful breakfast. I stayed 5 nights at this b&b and enjoyed it a lot. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, the beds are comfortable, the views are beautiful, the breakfast is good and there is a good running path running almost through the garden. The path takes you through fields and forest, and you feel like you are on the countryside although it is just a couple […] of miles outside of Durham.
