San Giovanni - Florence

I've stayed here before so knew what to expect. It is more like an apartment than a hotel. The experience is like living in a decaying Pallazzo with arched walls and ceiling murals.. The location couldn't be better albeit noisy. It is double glazed so easily bearable if not hot. The rooms are vast so have plenty of room for a family of 4 in one room. […] The concierge was charming and very helpful. Not suitable for the elderly or infirm as it is many flights up and the fabulous one person creaky lift could be alarming. I would certainly stay here again. Baca selanjutnya

This hosteria, whilst slightly run-down, is located right next to Duomo square so its great for a first visit to Florence. Bathrooms are shared. Wifi available.

The hotel was in a good location close to Duomo and short walk to Uffizi and market. Landlord was friendly and helpful and even carried luggage up to second level as elevator had problem. Other clients quiet and friendly.

We were treated so well at San Gıovannı we wıll certaınly return. The locatıon was splendıd and the room beautıful. wıth a fresco coverıng the whole ceılıng so you could lıe on your bed and go back ın tıme as you looked at the ceılıng. The staff were helpful ın every way, and very generous wıth theır tıme. When I needed to phone a local frıend or asked […] to use the computer for one quıck message, they allowed thıs. I found an ınternet poınt to do my other messages. For the prıce, you would be foolısh to stay anywhere else than next to the Domo at San Gıovannı, wıth the greatest vıew ın all of Florence. Massive windows high ceilings and old world Florence, our room was adequate with wash basin most impressive view of duomo andthenstreet scene below a little noisy at ngith but I loved that being able to view everything happening below, open air breeze in evening was good . This Hotel had a very good location, the room was comfortable and a good size. The only thing I would say wasnt good was that there was no air conditioning, however I would recommend staying here, good value for money.

Pros: absolutely fantastic location, just some 100 m from the Duomo, which we could see from our window; pleasant staff; no curfew (you just need to know the door codes); large rooms; 4 bathrooms, which is quite sufficient for the number of rooms in this "hotel" (a large apartment really). Cons: the sink in our room was constantly plugged, we had to […] wait ~3 minutes for the water to drain before using the sink again; same with shower #3 (I suggest testing the drain before you start showering); no A/C in the room, although there was a fan, which was enough; the elevator is tiny, about 70x70 cm if I recall correctly, so it barely fits two skinny people being super close to each other, or one person with a suitcase. The hotel was very close to the main church in Florence, we had to share bathrooms with other rooms but it wasnt really a problem there were 3 so there was always one available. The problem is that you can hear everything from the other rooms, the night i was there in the room next to us there was a couple having sex and yelling so loud it was very […] embarrasing with my companion. I cant imagine what is was like for the family in the other that had 9 and 10 year olds. I guess it was just bad luck. I dint have breakfast there so i dont know how that was. 정말 좋았습니다.11월 중순에 가서 약간 쌀쌀한 날씨인데도 불구하고, 호텔은 전반적으로 따뜻하고, 방도 따뜻해서 추운줄 모르고 지냈습니다. 또 두오모와 피렌체 주요 관광지와 가까워서 쇼핑갔다가 숙소에 물건 두고 또 나가고, 돌아다니다가 발 아프면 숙소 들어와서 30분 쉬고 나가고, 그럴정도로 숙소 위치가 좋습니다. 단, 방이 8개밖에 없어서 예약은 필수인듯. 주인아저씨가 3대째 할머니때부터 호텔업을 하셨다고 하는데, 호텔에 대한 애착과 손님에 대한 배려가 너무 좋습니다. 조식은 제공되지 않지만, 그 밖의 모든 것들이 다 좋습니다. 강력추천합니다~!

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de point d'eau dans la chambre. Le patron est très disponible pour ses clients. Le service de voiture est un peu cher, mais efficace. Les petits déjeuners sur la place sont également onéreux (30 à 40€ pour deux personnes). 非常好的家庭旅馆，从窗口能看到圣母百花大教堂的洗礼堂。简单舒适，很喜欢这里。不过要记得下午reception木有人，需要事先联系老板要门禁密码。

Das Hotel San Giovanni in Florenz liegt sehr zentral im alten Stadtkern. Sowohl zur shopping-meile als auch zum bahnhof sind es nur wenige minuten zu fuß. das personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, die Lage des Hotels und der Zustand der Zimmer sind für den Preis nahezu unschlagbar!

Et totalt velbeliggende lille hotel. Skrabet i forhold til luksus, men der er, hvad man har brug for, så i forhold til prisen, er det ganske udmærket. Jeg vil helt afgjort vende tilbage hertil en anden gang.
