Best Western Gold Country Inn - Grass Valley

the rooms and grounds are very well taken care of. staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The place is a bit noisy because of the freeway and the pool. but all in all, a good place to stay. Paulette's diner across the street is amazing.

Close to safeway and lots of fast food but not in the old town section. (about a mile away) . COnvenient in the sense that it is right off the highway so if this is just a layover on the way to somewhere, it is an easy to find location . Not bad, at little expensive for what it is. Water pressure was too low in the shower.

We found the hotel was we'll positioned for visiting the area.The facilities were good,although the pool was a bit small .The front dek staff were very helpfull. ,breakfast was ok and the room could get a bit full but that is not unusual.would definitely use it again if in the area.There is a good Mexican restaurant near by that's worth a visit.

I thought this hotel was a good affordable option to visit Nevada City/Grass Valley. Although you had to commute to either town it was stil close, well maintained and comfortable. The thoughtful presence of an "easy wipe" TV remote during flue season showed that someone was being considerate of the hotel guests.

We stay here because it is very close to relatives. There us very bad lighting in the rooms. There is an overhead light in the rooms that gives a very odd glow. The rooms are very clean but dark and dated. But the location is great and access to the freeway is easy. The hotel was good. It was clean and quiet. It was located on the way to snow country. It is an older hotel, but ok for families especially for the price.

Don't know how the price compares with other hotels in Grass Valley, but I was expecting more for what I paid. Seemed a bit shabby. On the other hand, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We had a confirmed late check-in. When I got to the front desk, they were ready to go with my room key, directions to my room, breakfast times and any wake-up call requests. The motel was quiet and clean. Nothing special, but fine for a short stay in Grass Valley. Continental breakfast was fine.

*Jessica at the front desk did a great job ironing out some wrinkles in our Expedia reservation. * I would return to that hotel if I need accommodations in the area for a future trip. * My thirty-something adult sons and their wives enjoyed the spa. *Breakfast was good and better than expected for such a venue.

Good location..midway between Grass Valley and Nevada City. Easy freeway access. Rooms had microwave and refrig. Large Safeway right across the street. My problem with the hotel was that my room was in the very back of the complex, which is single story. That placed me next to the freeway that runs through the area.

I pulled in and thought this will be nice, well the young woman whom waited on me seemed very distracted maybe she was haveing a bad day?? I got my key went to my room and opened the door and the first thing I noticed was how much dust was on the TV screen so I started looking around and this room was so dirty there was something that looked like hot […] sauce on the vanity how house keeping could miss this I don't know, so I called the front office and she put me in a room upstairs I went to the room and this was a room that was about 80 degrees and the air was on and it was as dirty as the first one! so I go to the office and let her know what was going on in that room she gives me another key, now at this point Im tired I want to get off my feet and I want to shower so I go in room # 3 its much better but you can still see were there is dust on the floor were they have never moved even a night stand and vacumed! I take the room in the AM when I get up and shower I go to iron my outfit and the ironing board is so dirty and it looks like someone had sprayed blood on it maybe they need to buy some new ironing board covers!! I sugest if you stay at this Hotel were your shoes at all times and spread towels on the floor in front of the sink all the way into the bathroom so you don't catch something!!! The only good part of my stay was the coffee that I got in the AM at there dinning area were they do make a breakfast and the young lady whom was working in there was very nice. Baca selanjutnya

the room was clean, the breakfast was ok. when they cleaned the room they didn't provide more soap, shampoo etc. Nothing special for the price.

The corners of the carpet were dirty and the tub/shower did not drain well. The hot/cold handles on the sink were backwards. It's a low average sort of place.
