This hotel is quite good for family or bussiness trips , choice food is good spread covering all the tastes , rooms had broad band connection but WiFi would have been better They did have WiFi for free but only in the lobby

the hotel was nice as was my room, the only problem is getting taxis or cars to actual locations. I had some trouble with requesting taxis but the request was never finalized. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and I enjoyed my stay.

Awful pillows!!! I could not sleep for three nights, and had to buy a new one in a supermarket.Service is ok, but people at the front desk do not speak a very good English. Breakfast is quite expensive but of good quality. Location is not very good, as in a desert neighbourhood, but taxi fares are so low you can afford a cab to get anywhere.

If you're like me and look forward to a daily swim when travelling, this isn't the hotel for you. The pool is more of a bath which I don't care to share with others. The hotel was alright but i still find it very difficult to understand why at this day and age hotels cant provide wi-fi in guest rooms? The hotel provides free wifi in the lobby with little space to accommodate guest who want to use the internet. Another annoyance was with customer service in the hotel and in Dubai in general. For what it cost to stay, it was not worth the price. If I wanted to use internet, I had to go to the lobby to use the hotel wireless. If I wanted to use internet in my room, I had to pay an hourly rate. I parked my car out front during the holiday period, however, at 9am the next day, the holiday was declared over and I was given a parking ticket. […] The hotel refused to pay for it. During registration for check in, they did not tell us of the underground parking. There was only one person at the check-in counter who helped whom ever butted in line and made foreign guests wait up to 30 minutes while locals budged in front or interrupted. It was much better than I expected, its a quality 4 star in Mina street with friendly staff and very well maintained and clean rooms with acceptable amenities you may expect from a 4 star. I stayed for 6 hours in between a flight connection and just used room facilities which was quite satisfactory.

Good location, within 30 minute walk of open Dubai Jumeira beach. Taxi's £5 to Dubai mall only. Excellent metro system within short taxi ride. Rooftop pool area quiet and staffed. Friendly staff. Dubai is just incredible and the food is really good quality. Lots to do and see.

Great hotel, staff, food etc. Stayed here on business trip, would stay again. The use of taxi's is a must from this area but very reasonable price wise so not a problem and much nicer than walking in the heat.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mercure, staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very close to Dubai mall and Jumeirah Beach. The only thing that was a bit awkward was that wi-fi is only available in lobby area so you can use it in rooms. Staff are great! Nice hotel, lots of curry!!! But stay away from the bar after 9pm, the etertainment is very poor.... Although once you've had a few drinks, you'll soon join in!!! Lovely people and a really great budget hotel!

Very good 4 star hotel room - i have been to probably 20 hotels in dubai in this price range and this is in my top 3! Great find in Dubai! Location is central, plenty of parking. Staff fairly helful. Will definetley return very soon!

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip, excellent and very suitable.... However, it got a little busy with 2 functions going on in the hotel and they could not seat me in both restaurants, so put the Buffett in a back room which I felt was very poor service... The Russian entertainment was unusual, but good to sit with a big glass of […] beer and watch.... The main town is a 35uae taxi away and another 10ish to take you to the marina area... Well worth the money... Also visit the open beach (10mins by taxi). Dubai is an excellent place to visit, the people in the main are great. Dont be put off by the number on non locals working there, they really know there stuff! I took at $150 5 hour taxi tour of the city, excellent value and you see so much of the culture. Anyhow, 1 day business and 1 day pleasure worked well on this trip and I'm looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.... Baca selanjutnya

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Overall the hotel is good especially for business travellers and short stay in Dubai, and staff are quite friendly and communicative. I was disappointed about the wifi price and availability (only in lobby, for 25 dirhams for 30 minutes). Also, because I'm fairly tall, the bed was not quite large enough for me.

Room didn't get cleaned for 3 days as they didn't get around to our room by 3pm and we were back in our room by then. Staff unhelpful on reception. Asked for printout of bill, they couldn't do it. Firstly, I understand hotel policy, but I've never been anyplace where I couldn't check in early. I spent nearly 4 hours in the lobby waiting for a room. In their defense they did give me a suite. But I was told they do not allow anyone to check in till everyone has checked out. This was rediculous. I will not stay here again.

I just spent 2 weeks at this hotel. The service is just OK (I had to wait over a half hour for towels), but the price is very good. The location isn't great, but it is convenient enough (not too far from beaches, but a long way from Media City). This seems to be a very popular hotel with Indian and Russian tour groups. The service was fine, checking in and out was very expedient, however my the sheets and towels quality/cleanliness were very disappointing for a 4 start hotel (as rated). Once you check in, I suggest you asked them to change all towels and sheets to new/clean ones…

it was a very clean and comfy room. the buffet was very good. nice bar. pool on roof is quiet and an excellent spa on the 7th floor. my only complaint is the slow internet access. it took a few hours to down load two albums from i tunes. i hope the hotel takes this serious because. i looked for possible alternatives for my next stay. because of this. […] for the amount i pay for 24hours service(100dhs) and class of hotel. the manager should arrange another provider or data package. Hotel had good facilities - 2 bars and restaurant on site. Rooms were very good with complimentary Internet for 24hrs. Swimming pool on roof was rather small but ok for a very quick morning dip. Beware you must have original passport to check in. We had problems as our passports were in for visa renewal and they reluctantly accepted photocopies. […] These must be in colour!!!! One of our party had black and white and they would not accept it - he had to get a scanned cope from home sent to them. I think this may be the same all over Dubai and is government law.
