Amazing hotel, felt like being at Miami Beach. Very young and hip vibe, which may not be what families and more mature travellers are looking for but was definitely a different experience from most European hotels we have stayed in.

Modern hotel with an amazing view of the Mediterranean from the room. Amenities are great, the staff is nice and helpful. The beach and the boardwalk are right downstairs. Will be back for sure.

Great hotel experience due to staff, food (wave restaurant), drink (eclipse bar), room (rain shower especially). Views are spectacular, location is ok given all the benefits above.

gone downhill in the last 3 years - more like a 3 star conference hotel - nothing special apart from views if you are lucky to get a room on high floor . room smelt of smoke and carpets dirty , no turndown service like our last stay when it was opened and no one explains the room control when checking in and gym looks tired. shame when they charge 5 […] star prices. however the new restaurant is very good. We had a very nice experience there. All the staff especially the Concierges were very nice when we forgot our bag in a cab. They phoned up and managed to get the cab driver who brought our cab back to us. The Restaurant staff were also very nice and made our breakfast sessions enjoyable. No complaints at all.

Hotel had all the luxury you would expect from five stars, although we didn't use most of the facilities everything way available, staff were very polite and obliging. Would have prefered to have been higher than the 2nd floor couldnt see much of the city but its down to price and what you can afford - the view from the 25th was stunning.

W didn't give me the floor level they promise. I highly suggest the future visitors negotiate floor level before you book. If they give you levels lower than 7F, that equals a disaster.

Loved the hotel location...and the direct access to the beach. Was dissapointed regarding the breakfast locations. One day I managed to have breakfast in the breakfast room lobby level and the next day due to a space problem was directed to beach level. You are a second class citisen then, and it smelled of sewers

My boyfriend and I stayed at the W barcelona for 4 nights. We thought the W barcelona was simply amazing! It is so modern and sleek and everyone was so nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the air conditioning in the room. Very impressive outlook and great first impression. The view from the room was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and general condition very good. Our only reservations, as with those before us, include the lack of privacy in the toilet and the absence of any tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Overall the W is hotel of a very high standard albeit let down by some poor finishing & colour schemes in the corridors leading to the rooms. Also we would have preferred a room on a higher floor than the 2nd floor we stayed on to appreciate the views but on the flip side the lift rides were quick. The card system to activate the lifts were also a bit […] tricky to operate & not mentioned at check in. The hotel is slightly further out of the city centre than some others but this makes the hotels surroundings more of a chilled environment & also a pleasant 25min walk or a 10min cab ride & you are in heart of the city. Ordered coffees from room service that arrived cold but were replaced within 10min of calling reception. The elipse bar on the 26th floor is one of the most exclusive nightspots in town but surprisingly small & we preferred the atmosphere at the lounge bar poolside. Finally there was a error on my final bill at check out but this was checked & quickly rectified by the friendly staff. Baca selanjutnya

Absolutely incredible hotel. You can see it coming into the airport because it's an absolutely amazing building right on the beach. Several good restaurants, pool, room service. Had a great stay and they even provided a complimentary bottle of wine. Easily the best hotel in barcelona.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. We had a standard room and it was amazing, beautiful view and super comfortable bed. The staff are brilliant , so friendly and efficient. Cannot wait to go back for a weekend!

We landed at Barcelona at 9:30 am after an overnight flight. Of course our room wasnt ready yet but they were very helpful storing our luggage and providing access to showers and a plac to change clothes . We lounged by the pool til our room was ready at noon. Great hotel with very helpful staff or talent as they are called. AC could be a lot better and accessible rooms should have choice of bath or shower. Architects should realise some wheelchair users find bath tubs easier than wheel in showers.

Fantastic it was amazing best hotel I've ever stayed in, the only thing that was strange and could be uncomfortable for some poeple was the toilet and shower had frosty glass doors and sides.

A happening place everyday and night and never a lull. Lots of people there for the night life are not staying at the hotel. Would be nice if mostly hotel guests were using the amenities.

Hotel and Staff were great. Often thanked us for being "so friendly". There is a large portion of affluent guests who we witnessed being very rude to the pool attendants, bartendenders, etc. But all of the staff handeled the attitude with grace. This is a great hotel on a great location on the Barcelona Beach. The staff were extremely helpful and the pool are was very nice (althought it could be bigger). Only negative point I can say was the staff weren't very informative. If I hadn't looked up the facilities I wouldn't have known about the gym or the spa etc so make sure you ask questions or research before

Gorgeous hotel, amazing pool, great rooms. Try to get Fabulous Room for better view. As on the beach, about 10euro cab ride away from centre of town, so not perfect location if you're going for a sightseeing trip to Barcelona, but great to relax by the pool and have fun at the 26th floor bar!

This was our second stay at W Barcelona and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The design and furnishings in the hotel are second to none, as is the service. The view over Barceloneta beach from the Fabulous rooms is positively awe-inspiring. The only possible negatives are that when the hotel gets busy, it feels very busy (for example, be prepared to wait […] ages for the elevators and then stop at every floor for more people to get in - this can get annoying). Also, the bathroom facilities in the bedrooms lack any privacy whatsoever (the toilet has a glass door which opens directly into the bedroom) therefore pick your partner wisely! The W hotel Barcelona is a really funky, modern hotel which is situated on the sandy beach. in Barcelona. Firstly, the hotel really is amazing! We stayed for the Easter weekend and would definitely return. It was busy and lots of people milling around when we arrived, however, I guess this was due to it being Easter... We were really lucky to be on […] the third floor (room 322) The window was floor to ceiling and the view directly looked out to the beach and sea which was incrediable. The room itself was large and modern. The only minor negative was it did not have a bath and the pressure of the huge power shower in the bathroom was not brilliant, however, we also had a handheld shower attachment which was on the wall and that was fine. We had the continental breakfast both mornings which cost euro23. You had plenty of food to choose from. we did queue, however, they brought around orange juice whilst waiting and it could have only been about 10 mins. We also had dinner both nights in the Wave restaurant. I must say that the food is excellent and although quite expensive, this restaurant is well worth a visit. We also went to the bar which was at the top of the hotel and that was lively and buzzing although cocktails were about 14 euros!! Just wanted to say that the hotel is not close to La Ramblas (the shopping/sights) - it's a long walk although I believe you can get a bus outside the hotel or a taxi.... Baca selanjutnya

I am not the most seasoned traveler ever but I have been around and this is by far the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. We were upgraded to a larger room at check in with the most spectacular view of the Mediterranean I could ever imagen. The two restaurantes we visited were both spectacular and the bartenders actually know how to make a proper […] manhattan which I couldn't find anywhere else in Europe. My stay was in late winter but I can only imagine that during the summer the pool and proximity to the beach would be even more impressive. I hope I have a chance to stay with them again soon! I found it a bit dissappointing that they charge 20 EUR extra if you want to use the spa i.e. steam bath or sauna. otherwise found that the service at the bar area was very slow and unattentive, possibly too few staff for the number of guests at the bar. otherwise room was amazing and general interior of hotel great. W says it all. Wonderful! Very modern. Location is a little secluded, but only a 7 minute walk from Barceloneta. But why would you want to leave the place? Everything you could want is there :)

Very nice and clean hotel ,but not to many options ,facilities ,.Bath room and shower room are nice but separeted only with glas walls from the rest of the room and all sounds from bothroom can be heard in the room .too expencieve and breakfast not included

Great building, but a little bit far from all the walking areas. I would want to be a little bit north of the water to be closer to the food and shops. If you love the beach, then it is right next to the hotel.

This is my 3rd stay this year in barcelona and I have now found the hotel I want to come back to. From arrival to check in they were fabulous. Our room was gorgeous - could have done with it being on a higher floor - we were on the 1st - but realistically my rate with hotels.com was fantastic - so even though we asked to move higher and they said they […] would do their utmost we were happy.
