My wife and I loved the convenience of this lovely Bed and Breakfast being only one block from Lafayette College. It made our trip to drop off our son who is just entering his first year at Lafayette less stressful and very relaxing after a long day of orientation. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the made to order omelets were […] delicious! One note: The Lafayette Parent weekend in October is already booked up, and you have to put your name into a lottery drawing for Parent Weekend 2012 just to have a chance to get a room. "Lafayette Inn - small hotel = personal service"
My 17-yr old son and I shared a room here for a pre-application visit to Lafayette College. The room was a little small for the two of us (one queen bed) but that was our fault as we reserved late. We also had to jockey for available electrical outlets for the laptops & chargers that follow us everywhere. The room and hotel were clean, quiet & quaint. […] The staff spent a lot of time with us selling us on the College, discussing dinner options, etc. My son particularly liked the freshly baked banana chocolate chip cake in the parlor and fridge stocked with water & soda. Breakfast (included) was served in a pleasant sun room - it would have been nice to linger there over coffee (we didn't have the time). The Inn is surrounded by a seemingly safe residential neighborhood adjacent to the College. (I ran a 4-mile loop through the area in the morning.) Even if my son doesn't attend Lafeyette, I would consider returning to the town and the Inn for an extended tourist stay. It was nice, pleasant, comfortable & friendly. Baca selanjutnya
"We loved this place."
I would recommend this to anyone. It is a great enough place to make you consider taking trips to Easton just to stay there. Almost. But if you happen to be anywhere in a 30 mile radius, I would most definitely not stay anywhere else.
"Easy Comfort"
What a lovely place! Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast is divine! We choose to have ours delivered to our room. These people take great care to insure that your stay is comfortable and that you feel well taken care of. This is a well-maintained house that is a lovely place in which to spend a few nights. "Charming and delicious"
This is probably not for people who like cookie cutter comfort hotels. It's a charming older hotel that does have limitations such as not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. But looking out the windows to see a beautiful neighborhood and having a wonderful breakfast in a really lovely setting, that's what is offered here. The staff is also friendly […] and helpful. "EXTREMELY COZY"
The Inn offered an "at home" feeling; the home-baked "goodies" and the wine & cheese hour every evening gave you the feeling that you were a guest at your best friend's house.
