Cititel Express is a budget hotel in Kota Kinabalu that is rather good value for money, the room is quite small but adequate. Location convenient with food around the hotel. Walking distance to the waterfront and the centre of town. Would stay there again.

Check in process was smooth. Rooms as small as described on reviews, but the important thing was that the room and bathroom was clean. Service was prompt when asking for extra towels and pillows. Bed comfortable. But the thing that drove us crazy was how thin the walls were. On our recent vacation to kota kinabalu we expect to have a delight stay in this hotel.at first we were amazed with the 12 story new building..but since then I have been ignored quite a while at the receptionist because they were look "superbusy" they did not even greet me. They repeatedly ask me to forward the online booking email to them..its funny […] to me since they should've a copy with them do they?besides, they forget to give me the code for the wifi..how can I access my email then..I was in the room when I notice that I dont have the code..so I have to go to the front desk again to ask..the receptionist insist that he already gave me, which he did not..until he realize he made a mistake..and not bother to say apology. The room looks clean and tidy but so small..we book twin superior room which has 2 single beds combined into 1 queen size bed..weird..the room I think even smaller than average standard room in other hotel I have stayed. Plus we have a stucked drain hole at the bathroom which quite annoying..actually if you plan to shop alot and not bother with the small room to sleep only at night it will be fine. .but if you plan to stay quite a while at your room during the day..you will have a feeling like staying in a box.our room is twin superior without window.my advice is get a room with a view..and book a bigger room.they have a really limited option of a slightly "bigger" room. As overall it was just perfects. But the time I want to have my own coffee packet, there is no stirrers available outside. Perhaps you have but no more supply? It's seems a very small matter to curtain people. But it is big matter to me. Thank you

My family of four stayed a night in Cititel Express. The rooms were really small but clean. As we had checked in late and left early, we didn't mind the small room with a very reasonable price tag. What we liked most is its proximity to food outlets (which opened late) and its central location.

The location was ok. A few blocks in the heat to get anywhere. The room was definately small. Enough space for 1 set of baggage. The service was acceptable. I would recommend other options depending on what your plans are in KK but the price was quite competitive in comparison to other places I stayed at there.

It took about 25 minutes to check in and the staff on the reception desk were not particularly friendly. Standard double room is tiny. Fits a double bed and that is about it. Had difficulty fitting two standard sized suitcases in the room. There was also a power cut whilst we were there which meant that the aircon and hallway lights were not working. […] Thankfully the lifts still worked. Having said all that I would still recommend the hotel based on its price and location. Walking distance to quite a few shopping centres etc, 10-15 minutes from (30 MYR) airport. It's an OK hotel for one night in KK and for the price. The location is really close to Center Point and the peer and not far from the airport (10-15min by taxi). Rooms are really small and a little bit out dated. It's a 3 star hotel.

I have traveled to KK several times--sometimes on my way to other places, but regardless of the destination, an overnight stay in KK is always warranted. KK has a beautiful waterfront and is a great place to recover when traveling on a long trip to another destination. Cititel Express has a great location in walking distance to the Waterfront and City […] Center, shopping, money changers, restaurants, and any other services you need from the downtown area of KK. The rooms are clean but can be quite small. However, I have stayed in many other hotels in KK, and the quality has really varied from crappy and average to decent to good. Even though they charge a nominal fee for Internet usage, I was very happy with the quality and strength of signal that allowed me to conduct all my business on my computer. This was a welcome contrast to my previous KK hotel which had comfortable rooms but a weak wifi internet signal. I will be returning to Cititel on my next stay in Kota Kinabalu. It has the perfect mix of quality and value that businessmen seek when looking for a good mid-range hotel in terms of star value. Baca selanjutnya

I stayed at the Cititel Express just before climbing Mt Kinabalu. So a good night's sleep before this mammoth climb was essential. Not at Cititel Express. There were people coming and going at all hours, doors slamming and the walls felt like paper. (I sleep like a dead person, so it must have been loud to wake me!) Close to shopping centres, so you can easily find food. The Jettelson Point jetty is a short taxi or bus ride away, through which you'll be able to get to the offshore islands and beaches. Rooms were clean and comfortable - no complaints for the price we paid.

Good location to the shopping centres nearby and eateries, especially to the different types of restuarants by the waterfront. I chose a non-window room which was fine BUT was exceptionally noisy after midnight. Reason being that the front door do not close that easily but you have to slam hard to ensure it is closed. This was the smallest hotel room I have every stayed in, but it was comfortable and everything looked nice and new. The price was great and a buffet breakfast for two of us was included. We appreciated the central location and were able to run back to the hotel to grab our camera to record a gorgeous sunset. Cititel Express was convenient. It was located very accessible to shops, taxi stations and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Although small, it was cozy and well kept and gave us a pleasant stay in KK. Will definitely use Cititel again if we go back to KK.

地點方便，走路1分鐘就有很多賣吃的店。房間整潔還可以，但房間真的很小。也沒提供沐浴備品。要記得自己帶。 訂到的房間是最大的，但確沒有窗戶，所以就換到有窗戶但比較小的房間。訂房的時候要注意。

Stayed at cititel twice during our stay in Borneo. The first stay didn't live up to the service we experienced the second time, which was very good. Extra sheets and universal adapter was delivered at the door upon request, and we got several tips on where to eat KK. On our first encounter, the staff couldn't provide us with more than a copy of a copy […] of a map- which was useless. Hotellet ger ett mycket fräscht intryck såfort man kliver innanför dörrarna. Personalen är serviceinriktad och hjälper gärna till med tex resetips och dylikt. Hotellpersonalen tipsade i receptionen om att boka online för att få billigare pris, vilket vi gjorde med appen hotels.com. Hotellet ligger mitt i centrum med gångavstånd till allt, ligger även […] nära strandpromenaden. I samma område finns massa billiga restauranger där man kan äta en middag för 1 euro. 酒店位置还行，到港口步行15分钟左右，酒店整体装修较新，房间确实较小，但对旅行住宿来说足够

因是最後一天住宿隔天要搭6點的飛機故訂的便宜Hotel,不過一分錢一分貨,沒有牙刷牙膏記得要自備,房內的無線網路雖訂兩人房但僅可一台上網,房間非常小比去韓國日本還小,可能是我們住的房型的關係,大概只有3~4坪大,不過地理位置算是不錯的~在center point旁邊,逛市區是很方便.

Clean, and pretty nice hotel in the central part of KK. A ten minute walk from the restaurants at the beach front, and half an hour walk from the jetty which can take you to the nice islands. Also close to Borneo Adventure, if you want to book any trips. The breakfast is also nice. If you're staying more than one person in the room it could be good […] to know that the wifi is only availible for one machine at the time (e.g. you cant surfing on your Iphone and laptop at the same time).
