Hostería del Laurel - Seville

I had a single room on the second floor. There was a window but it opened onto a courtyard which was roofed. I find this totally unsatisfactory because of the noise. The shower was also something of a challenge. The hotels location is fine though taxis cannot actually get to the front-door, the bar amiable but the breakfast was rough and the coffe really […] awful. It is situated in a lovely little plaza within minutes of the cathedral, Alcazar and lovely, quaint bars and restaurants. Perfect for those looking for a simple, clean hotel and want to be within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.

Right in the heart of the Santa Cruz Barrio--represents classic old Sevilla. Charming, clean, simple accommodations in a building that represents classic Andalucia. In fact, Jose Zorillo wrote his famous play Don Juan Tenorio around 1880 while staying at the hotel. Very close to the center, especially the Catedral and la Giralda as well as the Jardines […] Reales. Matter of fact, most of the major sites are within a 20 minute walking radius. Note though that the hotel is in a section of the barrio where cars are not allowed, so your taxi will drop you off as close as the driver can. Walking the cobblestone paths with luggage can be tricky, so travel light and ask for directions and you'll be fine. the front desk staff was very helpful and can even get tickets for most events in town and dinner reservations as well. There is a nice, although pricey, restaurant at the hotel, but the one next door is admittedly better. If you are looking for a classic, authentically Spanish hotel in a lively barrio, this place is for you. If you are looking for an ultra euro-chic place, try elsewhere. Baca selanjutnya

Not only was the hotel clean and quaint, but the staff was funny and welcoming. We enjoyed talking to the people who work at the hotel and the restaurant. Someone is at the desk 24 hours a day to help with anything. Breakfast was great and they even got a taxi to wind its way down the narrow streets to pick us up 6:00 in the morning.

La habitación 216 es interior, el aseo no tiene ventilación y esto hace que la habitación huela raro. Al dar al patio hay poca luz y muchos ruidos por la campana de la cocina que está en el patio. No es agradable. Lo que he visto del resto del hotel si está bien. El entorno y situación inmejorables.

This is really very nice hotel located just in heart of old city facing very beautiful Plaza de los Venerables. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we need. Air conditioning was a bit noisy but worked well. The bathroom was good too. The guy on the reception was very friendly and helpfull (gave us 4 maps to help find way back to our […] car and then find parking and then gave several very good advices about things to see in Sevilla). Also, on the 1st floor there is very nice and popular restaurant. I really regret that we didn't include breakfasts when we booked a hotel. We had a diner and it was really very good and for good price. The only thing I didn't like is that window was overlooking enclosed court which was closed on top by tent from the sun so it looked as though our window was overlooking some big room. But that's really nothing compared to all advantages of this hotel :) So I really recommend everyone to stay here! And the price is just amazing! Baca selanjutnya

Strålande läge för oss som kom med buss.från Ronda, med gångavstånd från busshållplatsen San Sebastian, 800 m. Nära till hela historiska centrum, restauranger etc. Förträfflig restaurang drivs av dem själva i markplanet med uteservering på den lilla plazan mot les Venerables. Litet intimt hotell. Ingång via restaurangen. Lugnt läge. Hjälpsam engelsktalande […] personal i receptionen. Hotellet har trots allt rätt måttlig prisnivå, vilket märks på frukosten, men den är smaklig, tillräcklig och fullt adekvat. Naturligtvis inget lyxhotell, men har alla basala funktioner.
