very nice staff, they made a good effort to speak english. The location was great if your travelling to the airport. The place is very run down, stains in the rugs, needs painting and repairs to the walls. Needs new furniture.
Dark, dingy and no breakfast

Driving up to this motel left us thinking we had made a very bad choice! But our room turned out to be very large, newly redecorated and clean. The breakfast was very good. We did have some problems betting our hotels.com confirmed price but hotels.com intervened and the price was honored.
Everything was OK, except small problem with wireless Internet. Best choise for the price

"Hotel & Suites Monte-Cristo"
My fiance and I chose this hotel for our stay in QC. The personnel are polite and helpful, the rooms are bit however not what they appear to be from the pictures. It seems this was previously a motel, so the ambient is different than what I expected. Good place to simply sleep, nothing else. "A nice and clean low budget hotel"
We stayed at the Monte Cristo Suites on Sept. 4, 2011. It was a nice motel style hotel, parking spot in front of the door, clean and comfortable, with a balanced relationship between price and quality. There was fridgem microwave and iron in the room. Quebecois style breakfast was served with coffee, tea and orange juice. We only stayed for one night, […] but we didn't have anything to complain about, so we can recommend it without reservation. "Disappointed. If you cant speak French AVOID"
I landed at 4 pm and was told my room would not be ready for another hour! The ladies only spoke French and it was very difficult to make ourselves understood. We had ooked a suite and they gave only 2 breakfast coupons! The location is not the best! I would book myself in a Comfort suites and not get too carried away with their glossy pictures!

"Excellent ratio of quality price"
Don't let yourself be fooled by the low price; service was excellent, the room was cleaned, the pool felt good to dip in, the room was big and the food was ok. The hotel is very close to the highway. I'll definetly consider going to this hotel again

The best in this location is friendly staff, do not expect too much from Breakfast menu.

We went to this hotel to checkin at 2:30 PM (their official checkin time is 2 PM and its written in bold words at the front desk). But, the staff did not give us the keys of our room and asked us to come back at a later time (3 PM or later). This is was very bad as our flight to Quebec was delayed and we were very tired and very badly wanted to rest […] for a while before we head out. Anyways, once we entered the room it was very stinky. Our room had a private hot tub which was really cool. The housekeeping lady in the morning knocked on the door before check-out time while we were still asleep; and when I answered the door, she could barely speak English (French-speaker.) She asked if we needed towels (?!). I wish they didn't disturb the guests for housekeeping-related issues. "Monte Cristo Quebec CIty"
Wanted to find a hotel just outside of the busy city of Quebec for a decent price. Great price!! Free breakfast, outdoor pool, and very clean. We had an issue with the air conditioner not working and when we told management they put a new one in while we were out!! Very impressed!!!!

The hotel is good for the most part. The staff were friendly and very willing to speak with you in English. The room was comfortable. My only minor complaint was that they were doing some construction work early in the morning which woke me up. If that had not been the case, I'd give the hotel 5's in every category.

WFI desastrosa, desayuno con cuentagotas (1 tostada 1 brownie pequeño, 1 cafe), sin repeticion. El papel higienico era tan fino que se veia a traves de el.

Très bruyant la nuit a cause des voitures car l'hotel est juste a côtè d'une grande route. Toilettes et salle de bain en dehors de la chambre.

"hotel et suites monte cristo quebec"
très bon hotel mais petit déjeuner ultra léger (café et jus d'oranges à volonté, une tasse de céréales avec 1 cs de lait et 1 muffin). il faut savoir que lorsqu'on est 4 dans une chambre, seul deux petits déj sont compris et qu'il faut payer les 2 autres (somme modique de 4 dollars par petit déj. mais trop cher pour le peu qui est servi!)
"Mais ou menos..."
A atendente (Celina) foi excelente! Super-amavel, deu dicas otimas de Quebec. O hotel, de forma geral, era bem mais ou menos, com manutencao ficando a dever. Distante 12 km de Old Quebec, mas de acesso muito facil e bem proximo do WalMart e Dolarama, 'e uma opcao de custo e localizacao razoaveis.
