Hotel is located near to Brussels Midi Station. Just walk from Midi Station to Hotel take a 3-5minutes. Room is well maintain and clean. Staff is helpful. Good place for transit but City Tax is bit expensive. Cost me € 7.20

Hotel is lovely, staff are very helpful, however been just across from Brussels train station makes it very noisy. Town centre is only 10 mins walk and it's worth a look.

After a bit if trouble finding hotel from train station ( although a stone's throw after all) a very welcome reception. Very secure, clean, modern and so quiet. Very comfy bed and quality linen. Great breakfast was a bonus.

Good, clean and efficient but lacks the little touches to make it a repeat visit hotel for business trips. Good location near Brussels Midi Station for Eurostar but arriving late meant no food available and no kettle in room was missed. Was not till I went to checkout that I was given a bill for a city tax of €7.20 when I explained that this was not put to me when I booked the room the lady said that it was in the small print and basically not here problem... So as you can see I won't be staying there again..

Newer hotel, close to the train station. Big room but no tea/coffee and had to pay extra for internet. Note that there is another Hotel Cascade in Brussels, so you need to specify to the taxi driver that it is Hotel Cascade Midi.

Large clean and nice designed room and a very spacious bathroom with tub. Neighbourhood is ok and if you are not afraid of maroccan immigrants you can walk in 10-15 min to the city centre. The staff was always helpful, the neighborhood is scruffy but you are right across the street from all types of public transport and needn't come back at night by foot (i.e. scruffy has no true safety issues), there is a grocery immediately nearby -- a terrific place to stay for the more independent traveler who prefers value over fancy.

The hotel is great. Really, it was a fantastic room and was exceptionally comfortable. The area in which the hotel is located is another story. It's by the train station, which is great with regards to convenience to get to and from said train station. I just didn't realize how "slummy" the area around the hotel is, though. Booking printout stated that a charge of 7.20 euro was included in the booking, but the hotel disputed this and charged an extra 7.20 small amount, but not happy

Great staff and great location (to access the train station)! A very short walk to the Market Square!! I was told by the staff that the hotel is only 2 years old, very clean and a great breakfast as well.

Wifi didn't work for most of stay, no. Hot water for 12 hours and bed was really terrible with naff pillows!

Excellent stay at this newly refurbished 4* hotel. Reception and housekeeping were both excellent. We had requested a cot for our 1.5-year-old daughter and although our request had been received, a separate bed for an older child was provided instead. Upon contacting reception, a very friendly lady from housekeeping promptly moved us to a larger room […] and provided a modern travel cot. We did not make use of the breakfast facilities (not that easy with a boisterous toddler), but there is a supermarket nearby if you prefer to spend a little less. Despite being at the front of the hotel, our room was quiet with excellent blackout curtains. The bathroom was clean and modern and bed extremely comfortable. My few points of criticism of the hotel are air-conditioning, which is present throughout the hotel, but for some reason not on in the public areas (it was a fairly warm couple of days in July). Air-conditioning in the room was effective, but appeared programmed centrally to turn off after 1 hour. Thankfully our room never got overly hot and we had no need to ask for assistance from reception. The other notable issue was with room service, as the phone wasn’t answered on several attempts. A real shame for what is essentially a very nice hotel. We specifically chose the hotel based on its proximity to the Midi station and nearby family who we were there to visit, but the area itself is a little rough. While we were checking in my backpack was stolen! The hotel desk clerk checking us in was interrupted by a guy asking for information and he stopped helping us to answer this guy's question. While we were faced forward at the desk and the clerk was answering this guy's question, a second person snuck in and took my backpack. Very nice hotel close to the South (Midi) train/bus/subway terminal. It is modern, safe, clean, and has a helpful staff. It is located in the Middle Eastern part of town, so there are plenty of inexpensive cafes with tasty food, bakeries, and convenience stores. It was a fairly easy walk to the central part of the city. I have no complaints about either […] my room or service. On Sunday mornings, at the South station, an outdoor market takes place. Four years ago, it was much smaller and mostly sold shampoo and foundation garments. The hotel was fine and nothing was wrong, apart from the fact that they did not keep your luggage after check out and you had to use luggage lockers for a 3-4$ fee. It is not a lot, right, but it is completely avoidable.

The rooms are spacious and reasonably maintained. There is no free wifi which is bad for the business traveler. Overall, a 3 star hotel that thinks it is a 4 star hotel. The staff is cold and impersonal.

Although very short stay, I enjoyoed very much the Hotel! The staff were very pleasant and good customer service. the cleaning service made sure that we had all we needed even when we were not leaving the room. Amazing!

This is a real 4* hotel and at a reasonable price. But the neighbourhood is terrible and the hotel charges breakfast and internet connection with high fees.

Booked a double room for a night's stay in Brussels. Excellent location, bang opposite to metro and train station and walking distance to Grand Palace. Nice and clean with modern get-up - perfect for a night's stay. We had purposely booked a superior double bed room because we had a child but got a twin room when we arrived. Wi-Fi should be available in the whole Hotel. I was allocated 5th floor and the signal for internet was available to 3rd floor only. The are where the hotel is located is dreadfull. People smoking marihuana just a minute from the main door. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent.

Pros: Clean room and comfortable bed. Cons: The neighborhood did not feel safe. The hotel's restaurant was more like a bar with limited food offerings and some meals were not available.

The Hotel situated directly at the Midi/Zuid-train station. The area around Midi is somewhat run down, but non of us had bad experiences. The hotel itself and the personell are nice, although we were given a smoker-room at first.

If you're only in Brussels for a couple of days, this is perfect location. Its just outside Brussels Midi station so very convenient. In terms of walking to some of Brussels tourist destinations, not as close - may be best to use Metro stations nearby. As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, free wifi would make this a great hotel, along with […] a kettle and some coffee/tea making facilities. Bathroom is very clean and bed was comfortable. I arrived on Sunday and to my surprise, there were some markets set up outside which was a good experience. We were upgraded to an Apartment/Penthouse after the safe failed on our first room. Hotel is brand new but on the 2 days we stayed, room service did not vacuum the carpets or provide additional soap/toiletries and the drawers were broken already. The view is not exactly desirable as it looks out to dilapidated houses in the area. The hotel staff were […] minimally helpful, they could not provide power adapters. I area is next to the main city train station so after about 8 PM it is recommended that you don't wander outside. It is about a 20-min walk to the city center. It is a real shame this beautiful little cozy hotel is tucked away in the bad part of town. It's scary if you have to leave the hotel, not bad if you don't. Oh, but the room was cozy and clean.

We stayed here as it was nice and close to the station. Very easy access,very easy to find, upon first approach I was a bit nervous about what was behind the doors, but was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for an overnight place to stay before taking the train from Midi back to Paris. This fit the bill, was a good value, and was across the street from the train station. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but aren't most near train stations anyway? All in all, I recommend for business travelers but not families.

Clean hotel, professional staff, very close to Midi Station - handy for Eurostar services. WiFi service available at a significant surcharge which was disapponting as most 4* hotels should offer this as an inclusive service. My room was very comfortable but the heating system had been off for a few days before I arrived. It was -9°C outside and it […] took a very long time to get the room properly warm (4-5 hours). We had a nice stay at Hotel Cascade Midi, the hotel was clean, very conveniently located next to the train station and the rooms were modern and well done. However the mattress was extremely soft and the pillows were quite uncomfortable (in my opinion!). We stayed in November and the room was boiling hot (the heating was not on, but we could not use […] the air conditioning and slept with the window open, but eventually had to take the duvet out of the cover and sleep with the cover only). The doors also had no locks from the inside and despite hanging the ''do not disturb'' sign on the door the maid can in at some point in the morning and I think we surprised each other! The hotel offers a baggage store, but this is a locker system and cost 3 to 4 Euros. Overall the stay was fine, but I would probably try something different next time. Baca selanjutnya

This is a modern, comfortable, high quality hotel. It's directly across from the Brussels-Midi (Brussels-Zuid) rail station, so it is very convenient but the neighborhood is not great. There are some good restaurants nearby and the station has good shopping, but many folks would not be comfortable venturing out late at night.
