The sheets on the bed were dirty with stains on the linens on the pull out couch. Manager was rude when I complained stating...what do you want me to do about it! I went out and bought Lysol and cleaned the room and the bathroom myself...gross!

It was my first time staying at a Hyatt location I'm a elite Marriott club member and now I'm going to start doing business with the Hyatt from now on.

Loved my stay here and thought for the price I got so much more for my money than at a Marriott Courtyard or other similar hotel. There were robes for our use during our stay and we had a small suite with a kitchenette too. There were cookies at check-in and complimentary coffee and tea 24hrs a day. Breakfast was great with someone at the omelet station […] making them for you. I ate on china and not plastic or paper like at a Hampton Inn. "Great Stay"
This is the best place in town. The staff, especially the morning crew in the kitchen assisting with breakfast are very good. They were quick to tell us that they appreciated us choosing their hotel as our choice. There is no better hotel in town as I have stayed at all of them.

I was a bit concerned now that Hyatt House took over but the place was as good as ever! Now they even had hot cookies! Everything went well from beginning to end! Make sure you get the omelet's!

I booked this one quickly on line and did not do much research. I loved this hotel staff was great mostly Patrick. Breakfast was delectable. Room was super comfortable. I will stay there again. Only one small complaint. There were a bunch of kids who got a little loud in the hallways

Hotel had friendly staff and was very recently updated. The suites were clean, complete with couch & 42" TV, kitchenette with full refrigerator, bedroom and bath. The hotel had a huge closet with plenty of space. I liked the layout of the suite, with plenty of windows. Looked more like a mini apartment, than a hotel room. Made our stay feel more comfortable. I loved this hotel. I travel at least once every 3 weeks to states in the Northeast. i had to work a weekend at New Haven. it is 30 minute from Yale Univ/Downtown New Haven. It is worth the drive. "Hotel Sierra- The Hyatt"
My huaband and stayed at the Hotel Sierra for a romantic weekend. We were very impressed with room and the atmosphereof the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sierra and would definetly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous. Chic. Clean. Desk staff allowed us a late check-out. We slept past breakfast, so can't report on that, but free all day assortment of quality teas and coffee in lounge area was great. It's a shame the hotel does not post photos of their pool and hot tub on the main site. We needed place to stay in the area, and based on other reviews, decided that this one would be a safe bet. It was excellent from start to finish. The registration desk person,Rachel, was pleasant ,professional and efficient. The breakfast in the morning was great - much better than most of the typical hotel breakfasts. Even the coffee was particulary good (so good tht I made a point of writing down the brand name of the coffee. Everything was as I requested but I forgot to bring my shaving cream. I called the front dest to see if they sold them and she cheerily replied that she had a free sample cant and would hold it for me. "Way above expectations, best value we've ever had"
We have paid almost twice the price for similar rooms elsewhere. And even if this one was twice the price we paid, we would have been happy. The staff was so friendly. The room was so gorgeous and so comfortable, it had everything we needed and more. We were only passing through the area, but we would have loved to stay a couple more days in that room. The […] only con was the lounge isn't quite as it appears on the website. They have a very small selection of drinks and small plate foods. We were looking forward to not leaving the hotel, but there just wasn't quite enough on the menu. The lounge was, however, gorgeous and very comfortable. They also had a pool table in the corner that would have been fun if we'd had more time. Overall, it was the best value we've ever gotten in a hotel. We can't wait to stay at another Sierra. The room's air was very stuffy - there was no way to open windows for fresh air. Also the sheets on my bed were not changed, and the toilet was not cleaned.

A wonderful stay,witha nice workout facility, pool and spa. First rate accommodations at an reasonable price. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

This was nice place with friendly staff and a lot of fun amenities. We used to pool, the whirlpool and the workout room and all were clean and in good condition. We also took advantage of the WiFi, the complimentary breakfast, and the pool table. Overall, it was a great experience.

"Better than expected"
I read a review that raved about this property. They were right - for the price, the hotel was the best my daughter had stayed in. Not only has indoor pool, workout room, business center with free internet access, but also had cute bar in the lobby with pool table. Near lots of restaurants and stores as well as the "Sports Center". Nice pool and fitness center. Clean comfortable room and friendly staff.

We have stayed at another Hotel Sierra in NY several times and have always been very pleased. We didn't think our experience with this chain could be any better, but our recent stay was even more fantastic! I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is heads and shoulders some […] of the more expensive chains we have tried (e.g. Hilton Garden Inn) and our room was deliciously comfortable.
