Possibly overdoing the negativity. The hotel is very clean and in a good location for access to both the Intl and regional airports and further afield. The hotel has some nice common areas and a decent pool. The rooms are clean and tidy but a little grubby - shower screen not having been cleaned properly since the last guest. I stayed at the hotel 2 […] years ago when it was brand new - but it now looks darker and a little tired - net curtains around the bar look a little shabby - lighting a little dark. All in all I paid much less for this hotel than for the likes of the Stanley or the Norfolk and in that context I would say is excellent value for money and would definately use it again. My only complaint is with the hotels.com agency! When I checked in I was shocked to know that it was not B&B as the tarrif billed does not include breakfast! Do you expect guests to fly out for breakfast? Utterly rediculous-- no such options given while booking was made. This apart my stay was very comfortable and had v.good service. Very pleasant stay at two different times early 2012. Did not use the restuarant. Staff were helpful and felt safe. Organised drivers to various places and vehicles and drivers were good. The gym was excellent, rooms fine.

Unbelievale service from the front desk, great room, very new hotel (and it feels like it). Very welcoming, price is very reasonable (includes free internet). Would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi, especially those in transit as it is not that far from the airport.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza in Nairobi for one night in December. We left our luggage in the luggage check room to go on a tour before leaving for the airport. After leaving the hotel we realized that several personal items were missing from our bags. Despite contacting the hotel in Nairobi and Crown Hotels in the USA we never received a reply to our […] report. The Hotel was absolutely wonderful, but unless you are working in one of the office and government buildings in the district, you are not next to anything. The hotel has a line of cars ready to take you anywhere you need to go, but for Nairobi at a pretty high cost.

Very lovely hotel. very secure and excellent service.

Wonderful Hotel. Nice, quiet location, excellent room. Very relaxing stay. Will definitely recommend to anyone who can afford it.

This is the second time I have stayed at this location, in as much as my stay was great and we enjoyed this hotel, I must confess that I'm very very disapointed with the hotel security because my son's masaai sandles were stolen and drinkes we bought and put in the fridge were also stolen. These items were not that expensive, but the pricinple here […] is that they were stolen, our room was 417 on December 30, 2011 thru Jan 1 2012. check in was good considering i was worried about booking so was satisfied. friendly staff and helpful. won dinner for two so will be there for dinner in january . good suroundings. would recomend hotel to others.

This two year old facility is very well run. Has all the conveniences one would expect. The Staff is courteous and efficient. Food was quite good. Breakfast buffet can last a whole day. Executive floor worth the upgrade.

Crowne Plaza hotel was the perfect hotel to end a camping safari around Kenya. The room was modern, bed super comfortable (with pillow menu), staff friendly, beauty salon affordable and food delicious. I would love to stay at this hotel again should I return to Nairobi. Cannot recommend enough.

We opted for a nicer hotel on our way back from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and a 3 day safari in Tanzania. Thanks to this hotel, we were given a nice, clean and modern room with a large bed, warm shower/tub, and great tasting food. A shuttle service to the airport was also available at any time we needed. The staff were nice, friendly, and very attentive. […] It was a nice break from camping/hiking for 1.5 weeks! Only problem: they charged extra for 2 people to share a room. Beautiful hotel; clean and a lot of attention to detail. friendly and helpful staff. Very personal as they greeted and served us. Excellent food in the restaurants. Location was a little out of the way.

We stayed for 8 days, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The property is lovely, and all the hotel staff treat their guests like kings and queens. Food was fantastic - we held a dinner banquet, and the meal was both delicious and beautifully presented. There wasn't one wrinkle the entire week. We needed a safe, clean place at the last minute, and Crowne Plaza was the place we found. It was more than a welcome stay after a long flight, and a great breakfast

I felt like I never left the US. Everything was excellent. Kudos to Kenyan Crown Plaza employees.

Vi lämnade hotellet tidigt på morgonen för att åka på safari, vi åt en mycket liten frukost på ett par minuter. Frukosten erbjöd förvisso allt! Det kostade oss 1000 kr. Lite väl magstarkt! Hann inte ta strid om detta. De försökte även få oss att betala minibarsdrycker som vi inte druckit. Lite onödigt för ett så högklassikt hotell.

Virkelig godt nyt hotel i Nairobi. Venlig og professionel betjenning, specielt af dørvogterne. Gode værelser og faciliteter. Et oplagt hotel i forbindelse med forretningsrejser eller som mellemstation til/fra safari.

El hotel cubre todas las necesidades que puedas tener, las habitaciones son amplias y estupendas! cuenta con gimnasio, spa, piscina exterior/interior, bares y restaurante, etc. Lo tiene todo! el único inconveniente es que no está en el centro, pero por 5€ te lleva el taxi. Realmente vale la pena... antes de adentrarse en la Africa profunda donde será […] mucho más dificil encontrarse con un espresso, una ensalada con atún o incluso un ascensor!!! Baca selanjutnya

We are tourists for kenya safari, and of course no one will wear formal clothes like businessman. unfortunately hotel people have smile faces to everyone who wearing business suit but not interesting to even say hello to us who wearting jeans and tshirt. that's really not a good experinece in Nairobi.
