"Hotel Vinnci Buenavista Golf - different"
Knowing the area and having seen the hotel from the outside our expectations where not completely fulfilled. The check in was perfect. No waiting lines, very nice and helpful staff on the desk, a welcome cocktail while our suitcases were brought to our room. The room was very large and the views on the two pools perfect. On the subjective side we expected […] a luxury 5 * with matched furnishing and decoration and we found a very special type of furnishing, not matching with the style and very cheap looking. Further decoration items like paintings and materials are or absent or badly chosen. More objectively we have a real complaint about the noise. The floors of the rooms and aisles are made from very rough stone and at night and in the morning we woke up by the steps of our neighbours or by the carrions in the aisles. At the noise we have to add that the room doors could only be closed by slamming them. What we expected to be a quiet and relaxing weekend turned into 2 stressing nights and mornings. The quality of the breakfast was OK . Lack of staff resulted in the waiters running around, slow service and cold coffee. Why not putting coffee and milk machines on the terrace? Would safe a lot of time for the service and we would have had hot coffee. In the evening we went to the gourmet restaurant. Excellent food and the waiter did his best to serve us at the perfection but he couldn’t coop with the 6 tables he had to serve alone. Also here there was clearly one waiter missing. To end our weekend I found later my car lightly scratched at the garage wall when it was parked by the valet. Baca selanjutnya
"remote, beautiful, quiet, good for golf"
The hotel is brand new, rooms are great, it's a quiet place, and there's good golfing. There aren't (m)any sand beaches around, and the sights to see are certainly not within walking distance (so rent a car). There's good food to be found outside the hotel, but again - driving distance. Check the weather pattern - we found that there was a steady, brisk […] wind every day (August), because this is the north side of the island. Hotel food was good, although very moderate portions and quite pricey for Spanish norms. If you stay here, do go to dinner at Mundial 82 (nearby). Very simple ambiance, but food to die for... Un magnifique hôtel au bout du monde dans un cadre naturel exceptionnel entre océan, montagne et bananeraies. Equipe très accueillante et sympathique. Chambres très spacieuses avec dressing, très grande salle de bains et balcon. Bel ensemble dans le style local avec beaucoup d'espace, nombreux patios et beaux jardins. Très belles piscines extérieures […] et superbe spa. Très belle adresse pour les amateurs de nature, de calme et d'authentique voulant échapper aux zones très touristiques du Sud de l'Ile de Ténérife. Plage de sable noir à proximité et nombreux sites intéressants à visiter dans le Nord. Possibilité de nuages sur les montagnes rendant le paysage encore plus magique. Baca selanjutnya
