Manon the reception staff was awesome! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable

This was my first stay at the Sandton. Very close to the Metro and mainlines stations (Central) and a short walk to the Grand Place. Very friendly and efficient staff - I checked in and out really quickly. My room was quiet, contemporary and had a massive bed (must have been a superking). Very happy with the hotel and service, metro 1 minute away, main square just 6 minute walk, through shops and Restaurants. The hotel staff were all very pleasent and helpful, great place to stay.

Nice hotel with modern theme that's probably just what a business traveler needs. Our room was small with closet space (armoire) for a suit or two and shelves for extra storage, and a very nice desk area. But really cramped for a couple due to limited closet space, and no seating other than desk chair. Conversely, the bathroom was spacious and modern, […] appeared to have top of line fixtures, but lacked any grab bars in sleek, tiled shower (no tub) or shelves to place stuff like makeup. Extra towels, toilet paper etc. were stored in armoire - and not replenished when we used them so were short of clean towels on 2nd day. Good location just a block or so from St. Michaels church, and old town is also close by. Warning: We arrived on train from Paris, thinking Brussells Central train station was same as Brussels Midi. Thought this hotel was great and definitely deserves its 4 star rating. We had a great stay here. It is less than ten minutes to all the main attractions. Only downside is surrounding area. It is quite close to the central station and the station seems to attract a large amount of homeless people. This seems to be ignored totally by the authorities […] and is no fault of hotels. Stayed here for Business in late Jan. Everything i would want from a hotel. It was clean, modern and comfortable, with a big room fantastic bathroom and good breakfast spread. Centrally located close to Brussels Park. Only suggestion to the management would be to include hairdryers in the rooms as standard.

I stayed at the Sandton hotel for 1 night while on business travel and I thought the hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly. The only problem with the room was that there was no hair drier, at least I didn't find one. I didn't have breakfdast included in the room price and instead ordered it when I checked in and thought the breakfast was good […] as well. room is a little dark and doesnt contain tea making facilities (despite Hotels.com claiming they do). room DOES have a fridge however. tv channels are quite limited. room and bed are amazingly comfy. great bathroom. excellent location, right next to Brussels Central station (not Zuid). the hotel was close enough to the city centre but located in a quiet place behind a church. the hotel rooms were basic.

Access of internet connection is one important factor for me to choose hotels. I chose this hotel because "HIGH SPEED CONNECTION" in the description of this hotel. But things are absolutely different, the hotel has this service, but connection speed is zero.

This was a great disappointment. Claiming to be a 4-star hotel? Hotels.com advertises with minibar and coffee/tea-facilities in the room. No such things, and the reception claimed that hotels.com was to be blamed for this; they termed it a misunderstanding. Clean room, but nothing special at all.

The hotel overall is OK. Rooms are generally clean and the hotel itself is very conveniently located to train stations and main Brussels Grand Place. However, the room I checked into had a lamp which the arms were broken and the light was inconveniently shinning in an odd position. They did tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. In the end, I used some […] ropes to tie the arms and manage to get it into a position that was more tolerable. There was a side table that was very sticky (due to some spilled drink previously perhaps), not sure if the cleaner missed wiping it so I hard to use some wet tissues to wipe it clean. On that same night I discovered the heater/air-conditioning in the room was not working. So I had complained the next morning and they shifted me to another bigger room during the night. Of which, the internet cable line was not working in this 2nd room and so happened the wireless internet was down as well that night. I also noticed that they were pretty inconsistent with towels, sometime they gave the floor mats sometimes they don't, sometimes they would replace the hand towels and sometimes the don't. The in-room phone is located next to the bed which is far from the study table (study table does not have a phone plug for you to transfer the phone), and it does not have hands-free speaker option. So one night I had a long conference call and end up with an aching back and neck as I had to hold the handset for long hours and sitting in a odd position next to the bed. After much frustration things got a little better, the wireless internet started to work again pass midnight and I was able to submit a much urgent work document that night. It was down again on certain days by the way. Overall, the counter staff was very friendly, they helped me to find some delivery food when I was shifting rooms during the night and didn't plan to go out for dinner. They were quite helpful with other things as well, but they seemed to be quite uninformed about simple Baca selanjutnya

this hotel is clean, modern and close to all sights. its off the beaten path but a 5 min walk to the main areas and there's subway around the block. gets a little noisy w the bell from the chapel ringing every hour..

This hotel is in a great location right next to the central train station and Grand Place. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly. The concierge recommended a restaurant area away from the hectic and overpriced Grand Place that turned out to be great advice. Would stay here again during our travels.

All in all very nice hotel facilities and service but the cleaning room service needs to be improved (eg no soap, no towels in bathroom until requested) In addition I had to pay extra-charges (so-called city charges) while I thought everything was included in my booking

Great hotel, located just across the central station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet on the morning is very good. Hotel is very clean, and so are the rooms (beautiful bathroom). But... They only have 3 ironning sets for the whole hotel and dont keep track of it. I stayed there 8 nights and only managed to get it twice while asking severall […] times a day. Same story for all my colleagues. This is a major issue if you are travelling for business. Also, there was only a few Kleenex left in the box when I arrived. I tried removing the box from the dispenser and leaving it on the garbage can, on the bed, etc. but they only replaced it on the 7th day. Similar issue with the toilet paper. Hoo, and by the way, the mini fridge switches off when you leave the room, which is not very convenient...for a fridge. Baca selanjutnya

very central. come out of central station via the steps up and out in the booking hall. turn left and cross the road, keeping an eye on side strees on left. see a sign SH and that's the hotel. Maybe 3 mins walk. staff were great, gave us a free upgrade, eventhough it was easter. Breakfast was included and was a mix of hot and cold. something for everyone. […] rooms spotless and all the amenities and bathroom necessities. modern, clean and high quality furniture. bed was fab. only drawback was I couldn't ust the krupps coffee machine and the staff didn't know either. Great location, close to central station and square. Room was ok clean, but photos look a lot nicer than what exists. I still used my own bath towel and used flip flops to walk on carpet. I think it was a little over priced for the quality, but the location was super convenient. Maybe I would stay there again.

Location is good for walking to the sites of central Brussels. Front desk staff was not helpful with tour planning or restaurant suggestions. For me, this is unacceptable for any 4-star hotel. One particularly inept staffer laughed at my wife when she asked about a concierge... come on! Our room was spacious for European standards. The bathroom was […] nicely updated and clean. Carpet and furnishings in the living area were in dire need of replacement. Price was competitive for the area. wifi was spotty in our room, but there are two nice computers in the lobby that are free to use. overall a disappointing experience for us as tourists, but may be completely satisfactory for those visiting Brussels on business. I stayed only one night at The Sandton Hotel Brussels Centre, but it was very comfortable (great bed!), convenient and worth the price. I also appreciated the easy to use free wifi. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Brussels.

Sandton-hotelli oli minulle entuudestaan tuntematon. Sijainti lähellä keskusrautatieasemaa oli oikein hyvä. Hotelli oli asiallinen. Ainoa äänihaitta oli lähistöllä oleva katedraali kirkonkelloineen, mutta siihenkin tottui nopeasti. Liikenteen äänet eivät kuuluneet huoneeseen. Henkilökunta oli palvelualtista. Mooi stadshotel. Goede service, zowel bij het onbijt als aan de receptie. Nette kamer, geen binnendringende geluiden van de stad. Op 100m van het Centraal station.

Verstopt in een klein straatje naast de Kathedraal ligt dit praktische Hotel met kleine parkeergarage, direct bij een Metro station en op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum. Prima prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. vriendeliojk personeel.

Hotellet er meget lækkert med en god beliggenhed tæt på banegården og tæt på Grand Place. Der er dog ingen hårtørrer på værelserne, da hotellet er bange for at folk stjæler dem. Der var en receptionist, der alene talte fransk. Der er kaffemaskine på værelserne. Der er dog ingen instruktion i at bruge dem. Perfekt läge i närheten av Centralstationen och fem minuter från Grand Place. Ligger på en lugn och tyst bakgata. Något dyr frukost, men gott om trevliga caféer i närheten att gå till istället.

Gunstige ligging. Goed ontbijt. Matige, kleine kamer wel schoon, raam kan open. Beloofde koffie-en thee voorzieningen en krant niet aanwezig. Wifi werkte eerst ook niet, je moet overal om vragen. Service verder redelijk.

Ha sido perfecto, no puedo decir otra cosa.Ubicación mejor imposible a dos pasos de la estación central y de la Grand Place.El trato magnifico en todos los sentidos, limpieza perfecta y mi habitación parecía una suite.Tenía un gran salón la habitación un baño nuevo y ytodo decorado con mucho gusto.Los recepcionistas y camareros perfectos. trotz bitte um ein zweites handtuch, wurde dieser bitte nicht nachgekommen.

El hotel está muy bien pero la señorita de recepción debería ser un poco mas profesional y no pasarse el rato fumando en la puerta del hotel. Parece molestarle tener que entrar a recepción a atender a un huesped... Por todo lo otro el hotel está muy bien.

over het algemeen was het netjes, maar wel een behoorlijke prijs voor alleen een overnachting, ontbijt buffet kwam er extra bij behoorlijk aantal euro's pp pd. en de euro's pdwaren ook behoorlijk aan de prijs voor de uiterst smalle parkeergarage. de plafondverlichting werkte niet evenals de wifi, hier werd aan gewerkt, misschien even mededelen. en het […] koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker ontbraken en de minibar was niet gevuld. voor deze prijs iets meer verwacht advies maak een aantrekkelijke prijs inclusief, als we hadden ontbeten en de garage erbij waren 2 maal zo duur uit als bedoeld Baca selanjutnya

Hotel non seulement bien tenu et aux chambres recentes avec une deco moderne (meme pour des chambres de basse categorie) mais surtout tres bien place. la cathedrale saint michel et saint gudule doit etre a 300m maximum a pied, et la grand place est vraiment a 5 minutes a pied.

Just within 5 mins walk from the central staion. The only more central hotel is Meridian, whose price is much more expensive than Sandton. Nice room, the only problem is that, there is no restaurant in the hotel.

Hotellet har ett bra läge precis vid en av Bryssels tågstationer och med gångavstånd till turiststråken. Rummet var rymligt och modernt inrett MEN: Avrinningen från badrummets duschhörna fungerade inte alls. Duschvattnet rann ut genom badrumsdörren och sögs upp av heltäckningsmattan utanför. I vårt rum stank det av mögel och heltäckningsmattan var blöt […] redan när vi kom. Skulle tro att alla badrum är konstruerade på samma sätt och att problem med mögel därför finns även i de andra rummen. Vid incheckningen fick vi ett väldigt korthugget bemötande och även i senare kontakter upplevde vi personalen som grinig. Baca selanjutnya

The hotel was good, but when I checked out, they suddenly demanded more money, even though I had paid in full in advance and had a receipt saying exactly that. They called the extra payment a "City Tax". I have recently stayed in two other hotels downtown Brussels, and they did not run this kind of a monkey business. I assume they had included the city […] tax in their total prices, which is the only decent thing to do. Sandton seems to exclude certain price elements from the totals to make their prices look better, and then give you a bad surprise when you are about to leave. This is a rather basic hotel. Nothing to write home about. For a business trip, I must say, that I was somewhat dissapointed. The rooms are clean and the bed is nice and the location is great, close to transportation and Brussels Centre. Compared to the wide range of hotels in Brussels I would not recommond it for business trips. They offer free WIFI, […] however the connection in my room was shaky at best and my phone could only get acces in the hallway. And they did not offer a cable connection. Another surprice was that the Hotel ddoes not offer complimentary coffee/tea in the rooms?! All in all I would call this a basic hotel. You get a clean bed close to city centre, with no extra treats. This is not a cheap hotel and you can find better deals and if you are on a business trip and depends on a solid Internet connection, this is not for you.
