Everything was OK as mentioned above in rating the various services. We enjoyed every second of the stay. The sunset was very nice which my daughter photographed for half an hour movie as well still.

This just might be an issue with myself, but the bed was a bit soft, not even close to firm so I woke each day with a sore back. Maybe to force people down to the spa, haha. Other than that, I had a small pool right outside my room, that was the best and the view of the bay.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights in the elevation suite. The room were very clean, light and modern with a large bath tub and great shower views of the sea and bay were great. Beautiful resort if you plan not to leave during your stay in Phuket. Hotel is on a separate island, so it is not walking distance to anything local. The hotel was beautiful, an oasis- just perfect for our honeymoon. The service was great and always with a smile. Buffet breakfast was amazing with a diverse selection of all sorts of foods. Very picturesque, nice and quiet.

A absolutely beautiful location. Calm and quiet atmosphere. Pity that there is no beautiful blue sea for swimming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. Transport offered to guests to nearest swimming beach as well as popular Patong and not just old Phuket town, is needed even at a price and would make a big difference. The resort itself was okay but to get to your room you had to take a tuk tuk as there were very steep hills and it took some strenght to walk down to the main hotel as well. The staff was friendly. The amendities in the room was very little compared to other Westin hotels and the shower room leaked so our hall floor got flooded every time we took a […] shower. The Spa which apparently was voted the best in 2012 was not great either. It was very noisy, the rooms were too cold and tratments were not great again compared to other Westin hotels. Fantastic hotel, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we did not have any problems. We hired a car which came in very handy as the hotel is about 15 minutes from Phuket. We ate all of our meals at the hotel, the food is amazing and there is a lot of choice.

We opted for a Superior Room with Plunge Pool and were sad to find that the plunge pool was unusable due to it being freezing cold. The bed was ridiculously soft the likes of which, I've never encountered before. We had to catch a very early flight before breakfast started and were told a breakfast basket would be sent up to us before checkout, that […] never arrived. The air conditioner woke us up several times when it cycled on/off. I don't try to find things wrong with places I stay but these few things stuck out. Other than these few things it is the most amazingly arrayed resort with everything you could need (a good thing since the surrounding neighbourhood isn't too nice after dark). Getting everywhere by golf buggy (you can't walk to reception for example) was a new thing for me and their system worked relatively well. I think this is probably the best resort trip we had for the past few years. The views and breeze from the high level balcony were the best thing we had from the trip. Everything was perfect especially the staff at the Kids activity centre. Thank you Jenny and Na. Just be prepared to pay for transport out of the resort. Also as a football fan, there was no football channels in the room or anywhere in the hotel to watch EPL and I missed the Liverpool vs Man Utd game. Sigh.......

Awesome hotel. Had read a few reviews on this place before going. One guy was complaining about the cost of the food, wi-fi and basically every ammenity they have there. He is correct, they do charge for that stuff, but if you have money what does it matter...right? If you are looking for some place cheap with cheap food and free wi-fi..don't stop here, […] keep on driving. He also was complaining about the "climb" to get to his room etc..This place IS on the side of a big hill and it does have NUMEROUS stairs, but the staff is more than happy to drive you anywhere you want to go in golf carts if you are willing to wait a bit...I personally enjoyed the climb as it helped me burn off the many calories consumed at the Italian resturant on site...which had AWESOME FOOD!!! The staff was by far VERY friendly and helpful...I will miss Tootka and Mai in the Italian resturant...their funny friendly attitude realy made my stay there most enjoyable...This place is huge and well maintained, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It is however located away from the beach hot spots as it is on the east side on a murky bay. If I had to do it over again I would opt to go further north on the west side and be more secluded perhaps. Since this was my first trip over here I opted for the safety of a bigger place like this with ammenities..PLUS I chose it due to the fact it had a fitness center..which was very decent but could have used more weight machines in my opinion...VERY NICE PLACE Baca selanjutnya

This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the water. The location is a bit far from town, so don't expect to be walking anywhere. There are shuttles to town all day, which is quite useful. Rooms are very nice and offer a beautiful view over the bay if you insist to get a top floor room. Service is rather bad, not worth 5 stars. Waiting time for tuc tucs much too long. Never heard an apology for bad service even though i complained many times... However, food is very good.

Plunge pool rooms not worth it as the room pools are poorly maintained and not usable due to dirty brown water. Ended up only using the resorts main pools. Service is not as good as in other resorts, staff are quick to say "no" and dont look for other ways to help out. When we were there, there was a big conference and the hotel used 2 out of the 3 […] main restaurants to accommodate the conference and the resort guests were notable to use these restaurants during that time. Beautiful Property, but beware... Everyone lied. Prices for food and services quoted are not the 'real' prices. Basic Dinner quoted at 1000 bht was 1800 bht per person, plus 17% (which they claim did not include tip) and that's without beverage. Spa charges are very high to begin with, then they did a 'bait and switch' and charged almost double, lying […] about services that are clearly printed in their brochure (50 min Massage is not worth over $300). Rooms are nice, but not accessable. Our room was on the top of the hill, and only one of their carts could climb (the electric carts couldn't make it either), and it was an hour to an hour-and-a-half wait for a ride to the room, from the pool, restaurant or spa. In 98 degree heat in March, I didn't want to climb an entire hill every time we left the room. I felt the Staff was not honest (especially the Spa Staff), and clearly not honorable like most Thai people. Checking out of a resort and feeling that you should have stayed a few more nights, pretty much says it all. IF your looking to stay within the resort, and you dont want buzzing action at night - this is the place. The Beach was'nt much of a beach, but then I personally am more of a pool person. 3 awesome pools with beautiful landscaping> I couldnt […] ask for anything more. Even though I used just the one. The service was brilliant. We were there for 5 nights with our one year old and I can safely say that this is a very child friendly place. The only couple of drawbacks about the place would be that there wasnt any place for the kids to run around, and theres no real beach. The water didnt look very inviting and you could hear the sound of the ocean which is something you'd probably come to expect on a beach getaway. All in all - we had a super time at the westin. So if your looking for a quite family get away - this is the hotel - we stayed at the basic room, and it was more than sufficient. The only thing that annoyed us was the pricelevel in the restaurants and also for using the Internet. Since this hotel is a bit outside "everything" they have monopoly on Internet, food and drinks. This brings the prices up to a western Europe price level. And knowing how cheap Thailand is all together, this is very irritating. The hotel was relaxing and the view was spectacular. The only bad thing about the hotel was a 2 inch cockroach in our room on the first night. Also we saw a baby cockroach on our table at the Prego restaurant. We complained and they gave us free drinks (non-alcoholic) and dessert. I travel internationally constantly for work so I am pretty fussy with hotels as they are my home for a good part of my life. This trip was for our honeymoon so I had high expectations. The hotel is perfectly positioned on the side of a mountain providing great views, this does mean that you will need to use stairs (114 from our low level room to the […] main restaurant), or wait around for one of the hotel tuk tuks for a ride. It is a 45 minute drive to Patong that will set you back 700 baht each way (about $20 each way), so if you plan on spending each day at Patong then stay in Patong. I found that there were specific staff that were very good, mainly because of their attention to detail. There were others that weren't so helpful but I put this down to language. The food in the hotel was mostly good and priced fairly. I feel that the senior manager could benefit from 'a bit of time on the floor' to see where a few minor things could be tweaked to make this magnificent hotel. We stayed in a pool room but the pool was shared with the room next door so there were people swimming and looking straight in to our room. If I stayed there again I would stretch for a villa to make the most of it. I still struggle to see how hotels can charge huge amounts for WIFI!!!!!!!!!! We all know that data is cheap and these days most people need access. It is like charging extra for the water in the taps or selecting your payment plan before you turn the light on.
