The staff was excellent and very helpful. The food was good, although if you don't want buffet, book your reservations early for the restaurants. The rooms and the property were both beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel.

"amazing service...delicius food..AWSOME HOTEL !!!"
The hotel is beautiful..the staff is super friendly and the speak at least 2 languages. They do activities at the beach; games aerobics…the animation staff is young and really tried to maintain everyone motivated. The hotel has a private enclosed beach great for snorkeling…must ride in the hotels catamarans its freee!!! They do karaoke at bar inside […] a sunken ship they have in the middle of the hotel..really fun.. They also have a theater inside the hotel..they have different shows every day, and they are very good !! Highly recommended to make reservation to all restaurants when you arrive at the hotel…I went to all..and they are amazing loved the food! I got a ocean front room it was phenomenal…you definitely need to order breakfast to your room at least one day..you’ll feel very special Outside the hotel I recommend the Boogies adventure..is super fun and they take you to a virgin beach and to a cave, that is extremely beautiful..rubber shoes recommended! Take the 4 wheelers instead of the boogies, b/c u’ll get full of mud :) I was glad I picked the 4 wheeler… get a massage cheaper than in Miami !! Baca selanjutnya

"Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro-3 star reality"
This hotel claims to be a flagship property. More like a mass market cruise ship on a nice beach. Commissary food of mediocre quality, one bar with top shelf products, lots of staff, most not working. Never got my paper, never received any ice. Many hands out looking for tips. The good people are overshadowed. Pool is nice, but needs management of loungers, […] etc. Specialty restaurant reservations impossible but a few dollars gets you right in. Plenty of empty tables. "Very nice but a little inconsistent"
Overall, the hotel is beautiful. Great beach and good amenities within the complex. There was some inconsistency with the 'butler service' - I never actually set eyes on my 'butler'. I had to go through the concierge desk on the lobby level, and they would occasionally call the butler for my floor. I only made a few requests and they were satisfied […] about half the time. Not a huge deal, but definitely not consistent with their advertisements. I also attempted to arrange a local tour. The concierge put me on the phone with some travel service or other that set up a poor tour with a driver that didn't speak a word of english except 'tip'. Overall a great hotel - but the oddities I outlined above are more like what you would expect from a 3- or 4-star hotel, not one that purports to be 5-star. Baca selanjutnya

"Surprisingly WONDERFUL"
This hotel was surprisingly OUTSTANDING. My husband and I are pretty picky and have always resisted all inclusives because we really like the "feeling special" and "different" type of experience. "Very Impressed"
This is a first class hotel. Everything was near perfect. It would be really hard to find fault at this Hotel. The French/Gourmet Restaurant is 5 star plus. Butler service was disappointing. I recently stayed at the Iberostar Grand for 10 days. I made my choice based on location, cost, and reviews by others. I was not disappointed. This place was definitely a 5 start hotel. The location was close to the airport, it was safe, beautiful, and just great all around. The staff were always helpful, the beach was spectacular, and the food was […] excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax. However, if you want to have a more active vacation, there are many activities to do including snorkeling, scuba diving, volleyball, tennis and golf. The gym was also excellent. I cannot complain. My wife and loved our week in the Grand Hotel, which has a very impressive building. Big, clean, uncrowded with lots of staff to help you out with whatever you wanted.
