Although the price was good, I don't know that I will seek out Microtel again. My stay was not an "over the top" experience. While the staff was basically courteous, they seemed a bit unprofessional in their handling of their guests. You can't always know what kind of customer came before you to affect the person at the desk, but the hospitality industry […] is competitive and many are eager for my business. Close to airport so if airplane noise is a problem might want to consider another area. Very good value, and friendly, helpful staff. Job well done.

WYSIWYG. Small, yet clean room with everything we needed for a quick overnight. Airport shuttle and complimentary breakfast out earlier than expected filled the rest of our needs.

Arrived late but no problem. Room ready and still available even though there were a lot of activities going on in Austin. Bed very comfortable. Walls a bit thin and we heard some conversation after hours but all in all a good experience. I would definitely stay there again.

"Better than you'd think"
If you're looking for a clean, modern room near the Austin airport you can't go wrong with this place. I was concerned about the two star rating, but was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here over a LaQuinta or Courtyard any day. Room was small but had everything you need for a good night's sleep. My only caveat is that you should ask for a room […] down the hall away from the elevator. The hotel was comfortable enough, but not a good place if you want to sleep. The walls are super thin, so we heard everything from the elevator ding, tvs in the rooms next to us, people coughing, talking, and loud banging noises at all hours of the night. I was very pleased with the hotel. It's much nicer than the star rating would suggest. The single room was rather small, but I was traveling alone, so it was perfect. The double rooms are average size, so go with that--or the king--if you have 2 or more. That being said, the single room would still work for 2 people. The staff was great. The shuttle […] driver went out of his way to make sure I got to the airport on time. The location wasn't ideal, but I was pleased with everything else. The staff at the Microtel Inn in Austin were extremely courteous and helpful with accommodating my reservation over the telephone. I needed to switch the day of my reservation and they made the change for me with absolutely no hassle, just great service! I stayed here for two nights during a business trip and it served its purpose well. The staff was definitely its shining star. Everyone was very courteous, helpful, and overall friendly. The morning of my checkout I left before the continental breakfast was served and the man at the reception offered to give me baked goods & fruit the night before. […] I also needed to print documents and their guest printer wasn't working. Another receptionist offered to print my documents from the hotel's printer. Very helpful. Everything else was ok. The room was small but decently clean. Clean bathroom. Free wi-fi in the room. Their continental breakfast was ok. The selection was expected for the type of accommodation. It was free so I can't complain. Perfect distance from the airport. They also have a free shuttle service to/from the airport. No frills hotel. Convenient. I flew to Austin on a business trip and booked at Microtel because of the price, it's close proximity to the airport, and the fact that they provided a shuttle service. When I landed I waited and waited and no shuttle service ever came. I finally called and inquired about the shuttle and was told by the front desk, that the shuttle runs from 6am-10pm […] and since I landed at about 4:30pm I figured it would be along shortly. After waiting another half-hour, I called again and this time I was told that while the hotel had shuttle service, they did not have a driver and I would need to take a taxi. I should have been told this the first time I called and should not have to call twice to get this information. It may seem petty but after a long flight, I was pretty mad about it. Baca selanjutnya

Very comfortable stay. The people at the front desk were very accommodating. The breakfast was about what you'd expect: cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. No problems at all and would be willing to stay here again.

"It was fine."
The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. It's close to the airport, which is why we stayed here. The shower had some weird water pressure issues, in that it was non-existent at one point, but it came back, thankfully! Other than that, no complaints.
