The only negative is that my daughter said that when she is away from campus she would rather be further away... like in Portsmouth. Other than that the hotel was very nice. I was pleased with everything this stay. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and the last time I stayed here the staff gave my wakeup call to another room. I didn't spend the time to learn how to use the clock in the room, which I should have used as a backup. This hotel seems to be relatively new. I can't say for sure, but I would say its not more than 5 or so years old. Very clean and comfortable rooms, free parking, free internet. I didn't partake in the free breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of it. I normally only stay at hotels with a lounge on site since I tend to enjoy a few adult beverages […] after a hard work day. Room was huge, if awkwardly laid out. Staff were, overall, competent, helpful, and friendly. We did have an unsatsfactory reaction to our 1:45am noise complaint (she offered to move my family of 5 down the hall to sleep, instead of dealing with the problem). One thing that really bothered us was the amount of waste produced: breakfast on styrofaom […] and plastic, no compost or recycling, each cup wrapped in plastic.... We enjoyed our stay except for the very noisy band of children screeching and running thru the halls until all hours of the night without any apparent parental supervision. All else was lovely.
