It was mostly a dump. The lobby and the breakfast room were good but the elevator was dirty as were many of the doors. The parking lot was falling apart and had many highway rigs parked on it. The double pane windows in my room were all fogged up and worst of all I could never get the internet to work more than a few minutes. "Quality Inn, Gilchrist, Akron"
My room had four lights, two of which were not working. Internet connection was not working. Drain in shower was slow. Have stayed here many times due to location and it is definitely going downhill.

Horrible!, filthy! Sink falling off the wall in the bathroom, vent in bathroom totally clogged with grease and dust! Mold in bathtub. Carpet in hallways filthy, lobby filthy, front desk clerk was not happy to have to " move herself" to check us in. The only complaint that I have is that i could not figure out the heating system in my room.
"road trip"
when we arrive the lighting was very poor, I was not sure that the hotel was open. The lobby appeared ok. The room carpet was dirty and the ceiling had mold. When I checked out I question the mold and was told the I was not supposed to have been placed in the room
"The Convenience of Quality Inn Akron"
Quality Inn Akron was convenient to all of the places that we needed. I feel it was a good choice because it cut our traveling time to different places in half. I would definitely stay there again.
"bad plumbing"
Toilet wouldn't flush. Sink wouldn't drain. 1x1 hole in the wall. Awful hotel. It looked like the place was closed. The sign out front actually says "yes we are open" because it looked so runed down and dirty. The girl working the desk was friendly which was the best part of the experience.
"We'll Come Back"
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place to stay. It is just off the Interstate but has wonderful green space behind, making it quiet and secure. The room and service were nice. The hot breakfast was wonderful, and we most appreciated having the checkout time extended, since we were from out of town. Parking lot is in need of major repair. When you enter the Hotel it makes you wonder if the hotel is even open. The rooms smell musty. Needs updating

"Nothing quality about it!"
Not a good stay. There was nothing quality about this Quality Inn. The door to the room was easily pushed open without a key. Not very safe and the rest was less than satisfactory.
