Hotel Cuenca - Cuenca

Room had no window to outside; warm and stuffy at night. Made for a long sleepless night. They do have some rooms with windows to outside that they are adding noise isolation windows; when this is completed these rooms should be very adequate. Room needs luggage rack(s)for suitcase(s). Changed to a different hotel after 1 night.

Nice hotel, great rates, clean rooms. There is no A/C, so rooms can get stuffy. Walking distance to all major sights in CUenca. Hotel food was OK, but nothing to write home about.

The family and staff at Hotel Cuenca is outstanding. I had a theft (of my own fault) and these folks went out of their way to turn a bad day into good. They always had a smile, the food and beverage in the adjoining restaraunt was fabulous and there was no request that went unfulfilled. Hotel Cuenca has that comfortable feeling one has when you're with an old friend. Slightly worn around the edges but still enjoyable. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. The location is convenient to sight seeing, restaurants and shopping and we always feel safe in Cuenca. The hotel is very clean and the attached restaurant is decent. A good hotel, clean, comfortable and very helpful staff, only drawback was the room we had was at the front of hotel and the street noise from 5am onward was terrible. I would not stay if that was the only room I could have in future.I would recommend that you ask for a room in back.

Older Hotel undergoing some renovations. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Will accommodate any need. Had lots of trouble with no hot water on several different days. Think they need to install individual water heaters. Restaurant food was very good. Service was also good.

This is a charming hotel in a great location. I would stay there again. It is clear that they are working at remodeling or refreshing this hotel. The main bedroom was freshly painted an charming. The closet and bathroom were in need of paint and updating.

Simple breakfast, restaurant for lunch, helpful staff, in a shabby chic hotel. Wiht a few more changes this hotel has the potential to be really charming. However, it is clean, comfortable and provides all the basics needed for traveling.

Muy bien, aunque las habitaciones interiores son algo oscuras por tratarse de una casa antigua sin patios. Al llegar tuvimos un problema con el inodoro pero al llamar a recepción lo arreglaron enseguida.

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hauptplatz Cuencas entfernt. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, gutes Bett, grosses Bad, heisses Wasser. Die meisten Zimmer liegen um einen Innenhof und haben auch nur ein Fenster zu diesem, es kann also jeder der draussen vorbeigeht, hereinsehen, aber es gibt einen Vorhang. Das einzige Manko: keiner der Hotelangestellten […] spricht Englisch, es ist also gut wenn man einige Brocken Spanisch spricht. Baca selanjutnya

la ducha no funciona bien. el banio estaba daniado. se huele feo. el precio es caro. no recomiendo para nada.

Asegúrense de que la habitación reservada tenga una buena ubicación. El cuarto que nos asignaron tenía una sola ventana que daba a un pasillo oscuro, ruidoso y poco ventilado. Buenos el servicio y el restaurante. Óptima la ubicacion para una visita corta la ciudad.
