The location couldn't have been better. At first, I wanted to stay in the bigger town of Vernazza, but I was so glad we ended up in Manarola. I think it's the most beautiful of all the towns, and it's smaller and more charming so it feels like home. The hotel is located almost directly across the street from the train station so it's super easy access […] to the other towns. The room and bathroom was clean, modern and large. And Simone is incredibly nice and helpful. He even created his own app for iPhone/Android to use as a resource around Cinque Terre. We used it for restaurants, beaches everything. "I paradise except for all the tourists"
The manager of this hotel simone is wonderful. The location is beautiful. I am sorry that I drove there. The train is the way. The village is mostly closed to cars. It is particular wonderful before 9am and after 4 pm when all those single day tourist overcrowd this little paradise. Stay at least three nights and hug Simone for us. You could not be better located then just opposite the train station. We arrived by car and Simone drove it back up and parked it for us in the snow. "Durring the off season"
We went during the off season and had most of the place to ourselves. The address says Riomaggiore but the hotel was actually in the next town of Manarola, which turned out good. When you get off the train walk threw the tunnel and make a right, its the second building on the left. since it is so close to the tunnel we did not have to carry our bags […] up all the hills. Simone was very helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room looked brand new and very modern. If you go you have to walk up to trattoria dal billy and get the frutti de mare appetizer.
