The shower was broken, it was impossible to turn off the heater (impossible to sleep), no one cleaned the room between the two nights I've spent there, wifi does not work in my room. Plus I forgot my iPhone charger in my room (my bad), I called the same day to ask and they answered me the day after that they haven't found anything. I only booked a room at the Rodeway Inn, because I couldn't find an available hotel room anywhere else in Chicago, due to several convetntions and tradeshows in town at the time. The Rodeway Inn appears to be a transient motel. The main selling point to the guests must be low cost. When the cab dropped me off at the Rodeway Inn, I noticed people in […] dirty undershirts sitting in lawn chairs ouside their room. The front desk had plexiglass across it, like a liquor store in a bad neighborhood. There was only a small slot to slide my credit card through. The manager was unprofessional. He asked me to pass out cards about the motel to people at the company I was in town to visit, and drum up business for him. The grounds were dirty. The staircase was dirty. The door of my room was dirty. The inside of my room was dirty, boardering on filthy. There were brown smudges/stains on the light switches and walls. The room was dark. The bathroom was not clean. I don't know if the place had bedbugs, because I didn't stay to find out. As soon as I saw the condition of the room, I walked back down to the front desk and checked out. I had no other place to stay, but I wasn't going to stay at the Rodeway Inn. Sleeping in an office chair at my company's Chicago branch seemed like a much better option. Baca selanjutnya

I reserved a non smoking room for two nights. At check-in, I was told they only had smoking. The lady at the desk said there was nothing she could do. The room was disgusting and it needs lots of repairs.
