Very friendly and helpful staff , lovely rooms and nice bar/lounge area, ate in the bar and food was very good with reasonable prices, would deffinately use this hotel again

Hotel was a litttle difficult to find, but once we arrived our stay was perfect, the room was warm and clean and the staff were great.

Room comfortable and had everything I needed. Layout of hotel was unusual a bit of a rabbit warren. Good value for what I paid.

Very clean and everything looked new. The lifts were a little confusing, being that you had to change to get to the fourth floor. Food was really good, although a little pricey. Credit to the staff at the hotel - they were all really friendly.

For it's price, it's level of cleanliness, it's general comfort, and the friendliness of it's staff, this hotel was a great choice for a brief overnight stay. I only used it for somewhere before an early morning at work and so didn't attempt to utilise any of the food service. However, I did enjoy a couple of pints in it's modern bar (playing... OK […] songs at a good volume) which was very comfortable. The free WiFi was certainly a great feature at far better than standard speeds (for free WiFi anyway) although the signal in my room wasn't fantastic. & they use OpenDNS, always the sign of a well thought service. Overall, I'm glad I used this hotel for the purpose I did. I wouldn't personally recommend it if you were looking for a luxurious home away from home, but for a comfortable, clean, and functional overnight stay I will be using it again. Baca selanjutnya

Great newly refurbished hotel. The restaurant 'Carriages' was amazing and brilliant value for money, very upmarket service and food choices. Receptionist very welcoming. Overall a great stay.

This is a clean hotel located in the centre of Darlington. My room was clean and comfortable.It is quite a large hotel and is a bit of a maze to navigate around. I had to get two separate lifts with bagage to get to my room. On booking in I was told breakfast was included in the price.Upon checking out I was told it was'nt and had to pay £7.95 per head […] for a pretty avarage meal.I should have stood my ground and refused to pay but needed to get to work and could not be bothered with the hassle.The breakfast iexperiance it self was not too good. The chef had his radio in the kitchen on full blast, the waitress spent to much time in the kitchen with the chef telling her about his 2 sliped discs.In the mean time several other guests arrived with no one to seat them. We arrived first so we only had to wait 20 minutes for our food.We had gone before the other guest were served.Not really a good eperiance.There is never a second chance of a first impression. This hotel is a result of combining at least two older buildings - as a result it has a very confusing room numbering and floor layout - it took me a while to find my room on the 4th floor, until I realised that I was on the 'wrong' 4th floor and needed to come back down, walk along one of the 3rd floor corridors and back up again. Due to on going works within the hotel there were a few teething problems. One being that one of the bathrooms did not have any hot water which after working all day a hot bath or shower was essential. Otherwise very good.

apart from some issues with non working TV s .Staff were extra helpfull & would recommend to stay here .

Hotel recently open and still work being done, feels a little like a building site. Some teething problems, but overall a decent hotel. Should be good when fully open. Good breakfast.

The hotel has recently been renovated and therefore the decor was fresh and clean looking. The building work had not been completed so some carpeting was still protected with a plastic covering and the decoration was not finished in some areas. No doubt this will soon be resolved. Not a big issue but the television in the room had no power lead and […] when we changed room the television did have power but no signal. At checkout we were informed that this was due to the fact that the hotel was switching over to digital that weekend. Again, probably related to the renovations. Le parking de l'hôtel peut seulement offrir un emplacement pour une vingtaine de voitures. Ce qui peut créer de sérieux désagréments; il n'y a dans le centre ville de Darlington que des parkings complètement ouverts et seulement surveillés par des caméras, ce qui génère un désagréable sentiment d'insécurité si vous devez y garer votre voiture pour la […] nuit.
