It was a decent experience. Didn’t like that the key controlled the light so if 1 person has to leave the room then that was an inconvenience. The parking was tight and drive way to the parking lot can only accommodate midsize or smaller vehicles. The breakfast was good, needs more no pork options. The sheets were not comfortable felt too rough, the pillows were tough like rock, the bed squeaked every move made. Rooms were modern, could use little bit more pictures or a little greenery. I loved the kitchenette feature that way we did not have to use the bathroom sink for everything. I would come back if I don’t find any better options next time staying in Kingston.

we stayed here for 3 nights in August 2024 only regrets we had was that we sorry we didn’t find this before other hotels . even though the pool and other floor was being renovated which we got an email before we arrived really appreciate that heads up . we still had a great time the place was beautiful and well kept . price was reasonable and affordable . continental breakfast was great so many choices. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait for my next trip . overall 10/10

This is my second stay at this property. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Close to everything. Furniture getting a bit used but beds were still comfortable. Love the secured, free parking on site.

Love the staff at the R Hotel. Glenville from the breakfast team is amazing and provides top-tier customer service. All the other team members are great, professional and friendly as well. Front desk manager and staff were great as well. They made my check in and out process seamless. I just wish the roof bar was opened as it would have added more value to my experience as opposed to me having to visit another neighboring hotel. Overall my stay was great. This is my 3rd time staying here. Be sure to get a room with a balcony.

This property is great for me based on my activities of interest which include visits to friends or relatives, tours or local trips, or the convenience to many New Kingston business locations; everything is nearby and walkable or the guest has the option of a taxi, ride share, or car rentals (please discuss with the hotel). Devon House and other visitor recreation areas are nearby. This hotel is not an "All Inclusive" and the shared spaces or general areas - somewhat limited, but an overall great location to enjoy a trip to the city of Kingston, Jamaica.
